Another stab at a more accurate AOE/TLK Optimus

 

They create MPM figures that no one else has done, so for me it would be:

1) Onslaught
2) TLK Barricade
3) Crosshairs

Lockdown 2.0 would also be interesting but I'd give priority to the three above.

 

And terrible waist/hips.   Nah, I'll keep waiting (in vain).

 

Challenger isn't perfect. Ankles, waist and hips are terrible, but acceptable. But it's made of black magic, you can't see a truck there.

Just got this guy and took a quick look. Right shoulder seems very tight. Think I managed to loosen the shoulder a little, but the screw is super soft material and was stripping. How can I tell if it is working ok? When I rotate the shoulder the screw and washer do rotate also, which I think is what I want. Ratchet doesn't sound as good or feel as good as the left shoulder. Anything else I should do?

 

I think I painted too much the head   the body has a subtle weathering effect because I like how it looks outside the box, but I think I add too much detail on the head and now I have to repaint all silver areas of the body

I don’t know if this is worth the mention, but I THINK this is the reissue. The person on Reddit hasn’t confirmed yet, but it appears that it no longer includes the two light-up heads, and instead includes a new head sculpt (I think that it is the one included with Dragoon).

Can @ShowZStore confirm anything?

Woah thats cool, i think. Does it not come with the staff?

 

The staff has always been a first/second pre-order run bonus, so I think not.

 

If the challenger I ordered last week comes with new head i will dance with happiness. But the listing said he has the same heads as original. I don't care about staff vb. I have Destroyer.

Edit: Oh shit it is true!

 

"Gimpy fish face"? This person is a fucking moron. First of all, the new head has the masked face inside, and second it looks way better than the original head so why is this person complaining? God I hate the reddit transformers sub.

 

About time Unique Toys included the face given they've reissued Challenger so many times. Now for a paint upgrade next time please?
