    I'll also add that the paint rub on the head is very real. Clear coat to the rescue.

    Add me to the list of people that received the Coneheads with no packaging.

    Stickers everywhere, which wouldn't be too bad to remove if they were the only problem, but someone saw fit to draw a giant "16" on the side of the box with permanent marker. Any ideas on how to safely remove the Sharpie?

    Plus, to top it all off, Amazon chat tells me they can't help because "it hasn't been delivered" yet.

    I have to wait until USPS marks it as "delivered" and then go from there.

    Hooray!

    Update - they told me to keep the item and said that a refund or replacement would be possible once it shows as delivered. Since it is currently out of stock, they will issue a refund as soon as USPS updates their system to show that it has been delivered and that if it doesn't show as refunded by tomorrow, that I should contact them again.

    Oh, I should have mentioned that the stickers and the "16" aren't the only areas of damage (they were just the most obvious at first glance) - there are dents, tears, scuffs, as well.

    I feel there are more coming. When AUOP dropped last month, it became “Currently unavailable” and took roughly a week for Amazon to list it as “In stock” again, so that’s probably the case here. Worse case scenario I’d just wait for the Japanese release like what just happened for Skywarp.

    Rubbing alcohol takes off Sharpie. Be sparing with it, though, so it doesn’t hurt the cardboard. Just dampen a paper towel or tissue with it and wipe away the markings.

    I have found that hairspray will also remove "permanent" marker.

    Thanks for the advice, guys. I also watched a video where you use a dry erase marker on the permanent marker, wipe with an alcohol wipe, and then hit it with a microfiber pad.



    Seems to work pretty well.

    I got mine yesterday, in a mailer box. The toy package itself didn't have any odd stickers or writing on it.
