I just see "Scourge, Cyclonus, Hot Rod" and then "Voyager" and for the first time in a long time, I am feeling real levels of hype here.  
I mean, some of Earthrise was cool for me, like Snapdragon and I like the new Scorponok a lot as well, also really pleased with Alicon,
but dang if I can't contain my excitement for voyager class '86 movie toys  

ALTHOUGH, the big issue for me, is will Hot Rod be pink(ish)   w/ black shins...
It would be just like Hasbro to get this far, and trip at the finish line by giving us
yet another ugly, "toy-accurate" red/orange HR with red shins... ugh.

Any chance we'll eventually get some updated Vehicons? I know Beast Machines wasn't the greatest, but I'd love to have a modern take on Jetstorm and the others. Especially since the older toys were plagued with chrome flaking...

Hoping for a new brawn one of my favorite character's as a kid but his toy was lame as hell. Fingers crossed he's one of the rumored minibots!

 

Without being too sappy all this news of Beast Wars characters is making me feel rather nostalgic, it's a good feeling.

 

Nice confirmation that Tigatron is in fact a Voyager. Jazz has me pretty excited, but I\'ll be bummed if we still don\'t get a Blaster.

 

Im hoping the studio 86 offerings are at least scaled to Wfc cause it would suck that the characters listed dont get the Wfc treatment they deserve

 

It certainly sounds like they'll be decently scaled, Hot Rod, after all, is at least a head or so taller/bigger than most of the G1 Autobots--the scene where Megatron grabs him shows he's pretty tall. Should also be taller than Arcee who's a deluxe. I reckon he'll be small-ish for a voyager, but maybe he'll make up for it with some kind of accessories.

 

Year after year after year do you realize how many reveals & figures we get? And after all this time there are a still a bunch of G1 figures that do not have 1 single modern day update.

I want to quit this shit. I don't want to keep collecting indefinitely. I'm tired of it & I need to stop at some point. The only reason I'm sticking around is because my goal is to get at least 1 modern update to every G1 character. I'm really getting sick of this shit now. The constant disappointment every single year. Hasbro teased the shit out of me 5 or 6 years ago with that Legends Chop Shop. Every year & every reveal I hope to see Barrage, Venom & Ransack. Nothing but constant disappointment.

I can't believe after all these years there are still G1 characters that never got at least 1 modern figure. You guys may be happy with the new reveals but I'm not touching most of it. I'm like 99% done. I'm on my way out of this hobby. It's not cool or fun anymore. I'm not wasting my money on the same characters I already have. At this point I'm just watching the years fly by. Every year wasted. It looks like I'm never gonna be able to complete my collection. I'm losing hope.

We just got 3 Prowl's & Smokescreen's in just a few years. 2 Sunstreaker's, 2 Trailbreaker's, 3 Ironhide's etc. But if I want 1 Ransack or 1 Fangry some members on here say I'm an entitled prick. Is that fair? Entitled to what? 0? 

 

I somewhat agree. This line has been great for obscure characters but then hindered by like you said Prowl and the datsuns getting made twice in as many years when there are others that need doing. I know I bring it up a lot but the Turbomasters and Predators are what keep me in the game waiting on them. Rotorstorm is a start but I fear he got in cause of his Wrecker ties. Would like a new Roadbuster too cause the T30 was a bit of a missed opportunity

I think the original leak said he'd come with a bunch of accessories, yeah. Not certain but I vaguely recall them mentioning the fishing rod specifically.

 

I mean, it would be so small, it would probably not even be clear what it was, but I kind of hope he gets his Energon Goodie box,
especially since they've made Alicon recently, and it looks like they're remaking Gnaw for this new line, too.
I also think it would be rad if he had some nice blast effects for his forearm pipe guns--maybe recreate him shooting the shuttle scene.
