Galarian story part 22: The rescue Part 1: somewhat not according to plan.

An Hour of intense planning later The group loads up in a large trunk and rides to the TS base location and as they do Arthur goes over the plans in his mind and Leon's words ring through his thoughts :

Leon: No matter what we stay together, but if we have no choice but to split up teams will be lead by an adult and you young trainers will follow orders to the letter. Especially you Ralphi and Arthur.

Meanwhile back in Wyndon:

Lapis: - has extinguished that damn pillow 4 times now - how does she keep doing that?

Prang: - walks in - That is a good question and one i have never gotten a straight answer to.

Lapis: any word on the raid? -worried for Arthur and Ralphi-

Prang: too soon yet they should be arriving any minute now. Lets hope they still have the element of surprise. At any rate Quatro is on his way to a prison hospital in Fauna under heavy sedation and heavier guard.

Lapis: -nods and checks the fire extinguisher in case White renews her effort to incinerate the innocent pillow-

At the TS base:

Faraday: are all preparations in place?

Luana: yes the grunts will funnel them to where we want them then we split them up, Gadgetz will take the bull by the horns so to speak while i deal with the bratty lad in pink, the Gomez child My secondary project should suffice to deal with them. it ought to be up to handling an undersized Gomez with little difficulty. The Real test how ever will be Shira herself.

Gadgetz: exactly i have a room prepared to deal with Target A and set up the trap doors to dropped them to where the lady will be ready and waiting. Your gear as specified is ready and waiting. Holding cells mounted in fast transports are waiting.

Faraday: good good, has Rose provided the needed data?

Luana: Almost , it should be done by the time our guests arrived. I have arranged for it to be transmitted off site since we are going to have to abandon this base. Rose will have no clue what we were after from him and it is unlikely he will recover quickly at any rate.

Faraday: - nods - Very well go double check that the grunts and lower level execs are in place and ready then get to your own stations -begins putting on his own gear-

They nod and leave.

outside: -the truck rushes up and the teams gets out -

Olena: -hangs up her phone- Okay I will stay here with the IP and guard the exit and await Ava who is enroute with back up, I have a medivac Coriviknight on standby for the chairman and can call in additional units if need be but i hope it is not needed.

Leon: got it lets go

Shira: Hold on I'll do the knockin -punches the door in with her version of the one inch punch causing it to flatten an unlucky pair of grunts who were just inside-

Olena: -grimaces wishing they could have left Shira out of this but they needed all the help they could get - keep moving we will take care of those two seeing as they aren't a threat now.

The group heads in and deals with several dozen grunts and a few execs tying them up and moving on and soon come to a large open room filled with large machinery.

Leon: be careful there are alot things lying around loose so watch your step.

Ralphi,Shira and Bede are moving towards a door across from the entrance and nod that they heard Leon. meanwhile Arthur and Hop are investigating and odd door shaped like a hatch from a ship. Just then a set of trap door snap open and Ralphi and co. fall to a lower level before they can react.

Arthur rushes over to follow them but as he reaches it the doors clap shut.

Arthur: damn ! -punches the door - damn it -feels his chest which was already warm grow hotter as the danger he senses grows greater. -

Leon: I can't open it No way to get a grip on it.

Hop: then we best find anothe way down there.

Arthur: -pounding on the trap doors in frustration as marnie tries to get him to stop -

Gadgetz: - nearby - perfect. I hope that woman is ready but better her than me dealing with a pair of Gomez gals

Shard is ready as is Ohm and the stunfisks are ready and in place -takes a deep breath and steps out into the openwhere Arthur is sure to see him- Hey laddie bull I got your friends! -dashes back the way he came from-

Arthur: -snorts angerilly and sees red and charges after gadgetz - come back here you swine!

Gadgetz: catch me if ye can bully -dashes into the prepared room - and hits a switch slamming a thick wall panel down to cut Arthur off from help.

Leon - races after Arthur and misses being crushed by the wall by millimeters. - THis just gets better and better.....

Ava: - just arrived - what the hell happened where are the kids?

Hop: Hell kinda describes what happened -explains what happened as leon discovers the door near where Ralphi fell was a fake-

Ava: .... - takes a deep breath- that boy just like this father charging off with a head full of rage...

Marnie: -figured out how to open the hatch and got it open with Hop's help. -

Leon: That's pretty much what he did , though i can understand it, he is quite protective of Ralphi.

Ava: IT's his O power activating has to be... He Honestly may have had little choice though if i am right. I can only hope Shira's training was enough...


Olena: - comes into check on progress and is annoyed to see her plan has already gone off schedule - What happened?

Leon:" I think it's safe to say somehow they knew we were coming as they were ready for us, including Shira and for some reason they deliberately separated the kids from us and each other, Ralphi, Bede and Shira are together and Arthur is off by himself chasing some old bloke who said he had Ralphi and the others. we need to keep moving and find them and the Chairman.

Olena: -nods- fine go, i will once this is over and the chairman and the others are safe I will be cleaning house to find whoever these ..people planted in our organization. - really hates it when things go off schedule -

Leon nods and leads the others onward through the newly opened door and soon are engaging yet more grunts-

As Ralphi and company carefully explore the basement level they fell into hoping find a way back to the others. Arthur finally catches up with Gadgetz who for some reason is T posing.

Arthur: Where are they ... -take a couple steps closer and feel the Galarian Stunfisk snap closed on his ankles and is shocked by the normal ones. - uuh ugh ..

Gadgetz: Not here, an associate is handling them.. nothing personal but your needed for certain experiments so .. -calls out Ohm the magnezone- Give him a Jolt laddie

Arthur: - his head cleared by the shocks from the Stunfisk sends out Striker who uses takes the hit for him - Striker take that thing down!

Gadgetz: fry that rabbit Ohm! -calls out Shard his mini Kyurem - give him a jolt my pretty.

Arthur jerks to one side as he tries to free his feet and avoids some of the electric blast but his left side is raked by it.

Striker knocks out Ohm with a pyroball but as he turns to help his trainer Shard blasts him with Freeze shock and Kos him as he was already weakened from the fight with Ohm.

Arthur : -recalls Striker and sends out Stealth - Quick use Dragon darts ! Stealth does so KOing the kyurem with a double critical.

Gadgetz: well this went south in a hurry me Fiskers give him another jolt will ye! -hits a switch opening two doors and bolts through one himself and seals it behind and flees.

Arthur: -groans in pain as he pulls his legs free and binds his wounds with shreds of his shirt as Stealth deals with the stunfisks- gotta find Ralphi! recalls stealth and lurches through the open door ignoring the fact he is hurt and running on pure adrenaline -

Gadgetz: -reaches the loading dock with the trucks and calls in to Faraday - Operation frost is a bust and target A is headed your way, he is weakened but madder than a scalded duck. ye best be ready. I hope luana has had better luck on her end.

Faraday: ugh this day has gone from bad to worse and the only silver lining is we have the data from Rose -just got the confirmation from the fall back base- -puts on his helmet - and i get to test a theory.

Let’s Go Eevee Chapter 9: Siblings Reunited

(Meagan and Bruce head west from Lavender Town towards Celadon City. As they approach the other underground route, they are approached by one of the guards in front of the gate to Saffron City)

Guard: Excuse me, I—
Meagan: Yes, we know of the no AC situation the guards are dealing with which is why we’re taking the underground route to Celadon.
Guard: Actually, since you’re going there, I may have a solution to that.
Meagan/Bruce: Oh?
Guard: Yeah. Celadon Department Store has vending machines that sell cold drinks. If you bring back some water bottles, I could give them to the other guards and that could fix their heat-induced delirium.
Meagan: That actually could work.
Guard: Here. (Hands Meagan a portable cooler) Put the bottles in here so they’ll stay cold.
Meagan: Ok. Will do.

(Meagan and Bruce head to the underground route and emerge the other side, entering Celadon City.)

Bruce: What do you think? Gym Leader out of the way first, then Team Rocket, then water?
Meagan: Sure, get it done and over with.

(Meagan and Bruce head over to the Celadon City Gym, but see a Gym attendant in front of the door)

Attendant: I’m sorry, Miss Erika is currently recovering her Pokémon after having just been defeated by another Trainer 5 minutes ago. If you come back in a few hours, her Pokémon should be fully healed and ready for another battle.
Meagan: Aw, crapbaskets. Someone beat us to the punch. What now?
Bruce: We can kill the time at the Game Corner. I hear there’s some rare Pokémon as prizes.
Meagan: Neat.

(Meagan and Bruce enter the Game Corner and enter. Inside is all sorts of people playing different games. As they walk in, they notice something.)

Bruce: Hmm...
Meagan: ?
Bruce: That poster on the back wall, it’s a bit crooked. I think we should investigate.

(Meagan and Bruce walk over to the poster, as they do they pass by another Trainer playing the slots, dressed all in black with a motorcycle jacket and an Aether Foundation logo on the back, and wearing a black hat and sunglasses. As they pass him he shifts his eyes to look)

Trailer (Quietly): Bout time you got here...Megs...

(Not noticing the other Trainer, Meagan and Bruce take a look at the crooked poster. They decide to righten it and the wall slides over to reveal a secret entrance)

Bruce: What are the odds of us stumbling upon Team Rocket’s hideout?!
Meagan: Well considering the history of mob-run casinos, this isn’t much of a surprise. Anyway, that kid in Lavender Town said the Silph Scope was here so...

(Meagan and Bruce descend the stairs to Team Rocket’s hideout as the other Trainer walks over and decides to follow. Meanwhile Meagan and Bruce make their way through the hideout, beating Grunt after Grunt, until they make their way to the main office)

Rocket Boss: So, the rumors are true...
Bruce: Wait, what? What rumors?
Rocket Boss: The rumors of the younger brother of the one who ruined our organization by usurping command, and the younger sister of the legendary Trainer who thwarted my attempts at takeover back in Alola.
Meagan: Wait, so then you’re...
Giovanni: I am Giovanni, the ORIGINAL leader of Team Rocket. I decided to return to Kanto to start over and build my organization from the ground up again.

(Grunts flank Giovanni calls out his Persian as Meagan calls out Mew to prepare to battle him)

Giovanni: Ah, the Mythical Mew, and a rare Shiny variant at that. I will have no problem claiming your Pokémon, including that Mew after I’ve beaten you, and nobody else can stop me!
Unknown voice: Wanna run that by me again, or did you forget the LAST time this happened?!

(Massive winds start blowing all over the place as a huge black dragon with glowing yellow ribbons flies around the area, then reveals itself as a Shiny Mega Rayquaza. Meagan, Bruce, Giovanni, and the Grunts all stare in awe)

Bruce: Is that a Shiny Mega Evolved Rayquaza?
Meagan: It looks like it.
Bruce: Isn’t it usually native to Hoenn?
Meagan: Yeah, so it’s definitely not a wild one, and (realizes) there’s only...one...person I...know...who has one...

Footsteps are heard as the mysterious Trainer from before approaches. He takes off his hat and sunglasses and reveals himself as none other than Meagan’s older brother Chad.

Giovanni: Oh no...him...
Meagan (Gasps): CHAD!!!

(Meagan runs over to hug her big brother)

Meagan: I missed you so much!
Chad: I did too, Megs.
Meagan: But how are you here? I thought you were in Alola.
Chad: Oh, we just moved here.
Meagan: Mom too?
Chad: Yeah, but I’ll talk more about that afterwards. First off, I have a gift for you: (Chad pulls a black bracelet with a pink crystal on it out of his backpack) This will help you with Mew and your battles.
Meagan: Is that a Z-Power Ring? Like yours?!
Chad: Yup. (Shows his Z-Power Ring) Yours has the Mewnium Z-Crystal so you can use Mew’s special Z-Move. Use it to wreck them like I did.
Meagan: With pleasure...

(Meagan turns to face Giovanni, places the Z-Power Ring on her left wrist, then looks back at Chad, who silently shows her the movement for Psychic Z-Moves. Meagan then turns back around as she activates her Z-Power Ring and performs the move, activating Mew’s power and letting it use its special Z-Move, Genesis Supernova, which immediately wipes out Giovanni and the Grunts)

Giovanni (Straining): This...makes...no difference! Even with your brother back at your side, revenge...WILL...be mine! (He and the others vanish)

(Chad walks over, breaks open the lock to Giovanni’s desk, pulls out the Silph Scope, and gives it to Meagan)

Chad: I guess you need this, huh?
Meagan: That’s why we came down here in the first place. So now we just need to wait until Erika’s Pokémon finish healing so we can challenge her.
Chad: Wait, you were gonna challenge Erika?
Bruce: Yeah, why?
Chad: ...oops...
Meagan: What?!
Chad (Sheepishly): If I knew you were challenging her I would’ve come here first and let you two go ahead of me.
Meagan: Aw, crapbaskets.
Chad: I know. Sorry.
Meagan: Well, nothing to do now for the next couple hours.
Chad: Well, not exactly, I know a certain someone who would also be really happy to see you again. Oh, also: (Hands Meagan a big sack of coins) I won these on the slots upstairs. You can use them more than I can. Anyway, let’s go see Mom.
Meagan: I’d love that.

(Chad, Meagan, and Bruce head out of the Rocket hideout and head over to where Chad has moved to, ready for Meagan and their mom to have a touching reunion)

Galarian Howl part 23: "Revelations"

Ralphi, Bede and Shira sled down the trap that was set up for them. Shira was the first one to reach the bottom, landing on her feet since the slide had a 6 foot gap between it and the floor. She tries to catch both of the others but could only catch Ralphi since they were too far apart.

Bede: *After landing on his bum* Agh! That hurts! *Looks around* Where are we?
*The room they're in looks like an old storage room, with a few large boxes labeled "New washing machine" on it*
Ralphi: [I think some sort of basement, but why would they want us down here?]
Shira: Looks lik' tey tryna split teh herd, sortah speek. *Finally puts Ralphi down* We outta keep our defensiv mon's out, in case thos' slitherin' Seviper snek up on us. *Tosses out her Snorlax, Relaxo. She then looks at the slide* Hey, Bede. Come'er, and I can tossya up!
Bede: There's no way that's going to work...
Ralphi: [I'll do it!]
Shira: Sorrey, Ralphi. I ain't riskin' hurtin, ya.
Bede: (The f***?!)
*Ralphi tosses out Sharps, her Aegislash, and quickly gets into shield stance*
Bede: *tosses Gothitelle out* I'm just going to attack the first chance i get. *heres a loud crunching noise, turns to see Relaxo punching one of the Washing machine box*
*Shira karate chops another one, destroying it*
Ralphi: [Gramma! What are you doing?!?!]
Shira: Justa bitta revenge forda slide 'tis all. Now den. Let's get'n our wae. *begins walking towards the lone doorway*
*Bede is now realizing how dangerous it is to be near Shira, sweats a bit*
Bede: (I think I'm going to watch my mouth....)

The three of them proceed onwards, trying to find a route back up. They enter a hallway lacking any doors on the sides but a branching path at the end, the left having an opened door and the right having a closed one. Thinking they'd find someone in the opened room, they walk in.

*They enter a large, dark room, almost like a gym. The only lights in it lead towards the center and a few smaller ones on the other side*

Bede: Gothitelle. *Gothitelle nods and creates a ball of light to act as a flashlight*
Shira: Not liekin'tis at all. *the doors shut behind them* Ya cheeky bas- *remembers Ralphi is there* -kulin! Ya really 'tis doors' enough?! *Shira walks over to punch it open*
*While this is happening, Ralphi and Bede are keeping an eye out*
*Ralphi then sees red eyes and four flaming fists forming behind Bede*
Ralphi: Bede! *Ralphi pushes him aside and Sharps gets between them and uses King's shield, projecting a barrier around them*
*However, with a single punch, it completely shatters the King's shield, striking Sharps with incredible force, knocking into Ralphi and both lay in the darkness*
*Shira hears this and Relaxo rushes in, but whatever that thing is, lands a massive hit on Gothitelle and two more on Relaxo before he lands a fire punch himself, pushing it back a distance*
Luana: Impressive feets, Shira. The reports stated your pokemon were quite strong. *She flips the lights, knowing the element of surprise was utilized greatly*
*Shira growls in frustration, Bede is just completely shocked at the power thing thing had, especially learning that one punch was enough to kill his gothitelle completely*
*As the lights turn on, Luana reveals herself and the creature she brought. It looks like some hybrid of Machamp, Hitmonchan, Infernape and Pangoro*
Luana: But to still stand after two Project Fisticuff's attacks is impressive, considering how it was designed to defeat those troublesome Lucario from the other regions. *left eye flickers* By my calculations, Fisticuffs will come out victorious against the three of you trainers nearly flawlessly. *Smirks* or "Two trainers" would be more accurate...
*Shira looks confused, then turns around to see Ralphi laying unconscious, face first on the ground, and Sharps greatly injured with a huge crack in his shield, possibly dead as well*
Shira: *Growls like crazy as she pulls out her energy pocket knife* Imma rip off ya jaw 'n hang'ya arse on meh wall for watcha did ta Ralphi!! *As she rushes forwards, Relaxo grabs her collar to stop her*
Shira: *Turns around* Whatta fook' arya doin- *She stops, realizing that Relaxo was genuinely hurt from those punches, bruised even, from those two strike he suffered. something that White couldn't do, at least without going full rage mode*
*In her shock, Shira realizes the predicament they're in, looks at Bede, who's also frozen at the shock of what's happening*
Luana: Hmm. It would be much less painful for everyone involved if you just surrender now. If you do, I promise to use the most effective sedatives available when you're being experimented on.. I'm sure the finding will be satisfactory.
Shira: (Damn it... Need'ah think...) *Checks her pocket watch, sees the unique crystal she put in there, turns to Bede* Ay! Bede! *he snaps back from the shock* Does any'ya team know Heal pulse!?! *Y-Yeah* Good! Pop'm out'n keep healin' Relaxo!! Relaxo! Stockpile and Swallow! We're gonnae do the long con!!
*Relaxo, remembering this strat, quickly stockpiles, heals and stockpiles again to gain defense*
*Bede throughs out his reuniclus, whom goes behind Relaxo and starts healing*
Luana: Going to try and stall Fisticuffs out? This will be an excellent test.. Fisticuffs, Proceed.
*Fisticuffs roars out as its four fists glow with a flaming might, it then rushes forwards and continuously wails on Relaxo without hesitation*
*Bede has to turn his head from seeing the brutal blows*
Bede: What the hell is your plan, old lady?! Because if its just to torture your Snorlax, then we should just surrender!
Shira: Of course' I gotta plan! We just need sum time! Trust meh.
*Bede looks at each other in the eyes, she sees the doubt in his eyes, and his want to actually fight here instead of being a sideline healer*
Shira: (I kno da feelin', lad.. But if we're gonna survive, Relaxo needs'ta tank 'tese blows... so we can unleesh it all rite back at'em wit greatah force...)

While this is happening, Sharps moves slightly, wrapping his cloth around Ralphi's arm to make sure she's okay... She begins to move, her body hurts, but the pain begins to lessen, or more accurately, is being replaced by a burning sensation in her.. She looks up, seeing Sharps, giving a look that says "I can still go", then seeing Fisticuffs wailing on Relaxo abd the blood on the ground, she grabs hold of Sharps ....

*Relaxo continues to get pummeled in a ruthless fashion, the bruises bleeding out and coughing out blood when the fists collide with his face*
*Reuniclus' puts more effort into its heal pulse*
*Finally getting enough energy, Relaxo lands a quick Fire Punch to knock Fisticuffs away for a moment, gaing a bit of extra healing*
Shira: It's time! *She activates the Crystal and poses, Relaxo's body begins to steam up*
Luana: *Left eye flickers* A Z-move? Unexpected, but pointless. Fisticuffs, Kill it.
*The flames in its fist increases and rushes forward*
Shira: (Not enough time!!)
*Ralphi, holding Sharps and O-power glowing, suddenly rushes between Fisticuffs and Relaxo*
Bede: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!
*Fisticuffs knocks into the King's shield, being caught offguard, and proceeds to attack it*
*Ralphi and Sharps' blockade holds up as it attacks on repeatedly, Ralphi can feel her body burning up exponentially, thinking its her O-power as she continues to fuel Sharps with the strength he needs*
Luana: How is this possible?! *Right eye flickers* The Galarian O-power?! Wait, that's not all. *left eye flickers as well* A champion power, too?!?
*Ralphi eyes erupt with a greyish, blue flame as she struggles to hold*
Ralphi: LEAVE... THEM.... ALONE!!!
*Suddenly, a huge pulse of those flames erupt from her body, filling the entre room in it*
*Both Luana and Fisticuffs scream in pain as the flames connect with them, but no pain comes to Shira, Bede or ther pokemon*
Bede: What the hell?!
*The flames subside and Ralphi collapses back towards ground, Sharps grabs her before she lands, ready to protect her at all cost*
Luana: *Some of the flames still lingering on her* This can't be happening.... This is some sort of error...kill her! KILL HER NOW!!!
*Fisticuffs stands up but is suddenly frozen by the feeling of death itself*

Shira: *eyes covered in her hairs' shadow* Relaxo. SEND DEEZ' FOOKERS STRAIGHTTA HELL!! GALARIAN Z-MOVE!! *The steam around Relaxo puffs away, all of the fat on his body is replaced with pure muscle* BLAZING WEIGHTLOSS WALLOOOPP!!!
*Relaxo then rushes right past Ralphi, fist blazing with energy, swings a left hook with all his might*
*Fisticuffs tries to collide the attack with one its own, but it disintegrates at it approachs*
*The move finishes with a ginormous fiery explosion engulfing both Fisticuffs, Luana and destroying the entire side of the building in an instant, charged with all the damage Relaxo suffered and unleashed two-fold*
*One of the reasons Z-moves were banned, Shira owns the last of the Snorlaxium-G crystals in the world. This move was used on Katrina back in the day, but without the intention to kill*
*When the explosion ends, Relaxo roars out into the sky, in a form of victory and exhausting, before falling onto its back and falling asleep*


*On the other side of the building, the gym leaders and others feels the entire bulding shake as they traverse the halls of the base*
Milo: Just what the heck was that?!
Leon: I believe that was my mother-in-law.....
Hop: Yup. Definitely Shira.
Nessa: O.O Soooo glad she's on our side...

*Back to the others, The side of the building is completely gone, replaces with burnt rubble, dust and dirtclouds and the light of the sun peering through them*

*Shira is currently holding Ralphi up, Bede looks over, still questioning what just happened*
Shira: Ralphi! say somethin'! Please! Come on!
...
Ralphi: *weakly* G...gramma?
Shira: Yes, Ralphi! It's ya grammum!!
Ralphi: B...Bede.... g....go get help..... I'll. hold it off.... I'll...
Shira: *Her pride and relief overflows, hugs her and cries* Ya did mor'tan ennuff, Ralphi.. Ya crazy gurl... I luv ya...
Bede: (even after all that... She's still....) So what do we do now? and what about your snorlax?
*Looks at the sleeping snorlax with ungodly muscles*
Shira: Ay, he'll be back ta normal afteh a G-max'n.. Rite now, We outta get Ralphi sum help. Da poor gurl gave everything she culd... We'll head uptah crateh and-
Luana: Leaving so soon?!
*In shock, Bede and Shira turn to see Luana emerging from the rubble, ber body is partially melted, revealing she is an andriod*
*Fisticuffs also emerges from the rubble, its entire right side burnt up with only the two left arms being there, let alone functional*
Luana: *in a vastly different tone* But the party is just getting started...
Bede: Oh, you got to be kidding me!! How the hell did it survive that!?!
Shira: *recalls Relaxo* Bede, Get Ralphi outta here. I'll finish te job!
Bede: W..what?!
Shira: King's Shield reduces physical strenth, rite? Wit how many strikes it used wit Ralphi's help, Me other mons' should be able tah finish it off. Get her tah safety! Now!
*Bede nods and picks Ralphi up, Sharps goes back into his ball Renuclus follows Bede away from the scene*
Luana: *Her face is greatly distorted* Aww... Was hoping they'd stay. After all, one is no good, and two isn't enough.. *chuckles insanely*
Shira: Ight. Ya want three?! *pulls out two pokeballs* Go, Bunburn! Lopdunce! *Tosses out her Scorbunny and Lopunny* Thenya got it! *presses another stone in her stopwatch, mega evolving Lopdunce and Shira herself gets into a battle stance* now come at us, ya filtheh wankah!!
Luana: *eyes going black* Very well! GO GET'EM, BIG BOI! *laughs insanely as the two sides rush each other*

*A while later, Bede hands Ralphi over to the medics*
Bede: -and that's what I think happened... I'm not sure tho. Just... Make sure she's okay...
Doctor: Of course... *heads off in the ambulance*
*Bede stands there a moment*
......

TS Grunt: Yes, Ma'am! *Grabs the box and uses the teleportation collar to teleport himself and the box as well*
TS Doctor: Good. *looks at Rose* Only one things left to do. *She goes on the computor to finally erase the dreams that they needed to clear the slate*
*Before she finishes, Leon and Allister break through the door*
*Mimi uses a shadow claw to take out the musharna while Charizard dragon claws the hypno*
*Leon himself quickly tackles the doctor and places handcuffs on her*
Leon: Sorry, ma'am. Just can't risk you doing anything.
TS Doctor: Hmph.. At least you apologized for tackling a lady...
Allister: Leon.. A little help? *He's removing the straps to Leon's arms*
Leon: Yeah, sure. hold on *Gets on the radio* Oleana. We found him. We're still looking for Arthur and the others tho.
Oleana: *over the radio* Ralphi and Bede are accounted for. Shira can handle herself. Let's hope Arthur is okay...

*Meanwhile, Arthur rushes into Faraday's office*
Arthur: *powering through the pain* Where is she?
Faraday: *readies his helmet* I will tell you, but only if you best me in a pokemon battle... *Tosse out a magnezone*
Arthur: Ugh.. Fine! Striker, go!

The battle between the two of them takes some time, but Arthur manages to best him, even with his last pokemon being another strange hybrid. Arthur was to injured to notice that the helmet on Faraday's head was used to prevent eye contact with him. Faraday was testing a theory originating back to the Original Team Rocket days.....

*The Loudred/Kommo-o gets knocked down by Stryker's Zen Headbutt*
Faraday: Hmm... I have lost...
Arthur: Alright, where is she?! Where is Ralphi?!
Faraday: *grabs a small device on his desk* Truth be told, I am unaware of her wearabouts. I lost all communications with my assistant when she was sent to deal with her. That said, I have honored the deal and you have proved to be an excellent test, despite the loses we suffered. Team Stellar shall continue on. Goodbye, son of Adam Taurel.

*He presses the button and various object and members of TS begin to teleport*
*As Faraday himself begins to vanish, Shira shatters the wall behind Arthur*
Shira: Ya bastage! *Tosses the broken metal pipe, which pieces Faraday's chest as he completely vanishes* Dang!
Arthur: Shira you're here... Ralphi, did you..
Shira: She's good. Might've been hurt butcha looking worse...
Arthur: She's good? .. good... That is what.... I..... *he collapses from exhastion, but Shira catches him*

*The computer's lights flicker, and quickly so does Faraday's before his body collapses*
*A few hover drones and robotic arms begin to lift and scan the body*
Faraday: *inside computer* Damn, and I JUST got used to that body... Computer. Whats the status of the assest transported to this base, as well as an estemated time for repairs on this body?
Computer: Beep.
Faraday: Not TOO bad, surprisingly... Now, contact Luana and let her know that.

Faraday: ...Shira? *beep* Of course, the data you have is currupted.... *sighs* Then Contact Gadgetz and let him be aware that operations continue on as planned. Explain that I'm currently diving into experiments that require all of my time in focus for the next few days...

Galarian story day 23 : The morning after.

Arthur woke up slowly and groan as he ached all over then as his eyes gained focus he looked about and saw he was in a hospital room then he checked himself and saw his left side and his ankle wrapped in bandages and memories of the day before slammed into him and he tried to get get out of bed to look for Ralphi.

Ava: Oh no you don't. Ralphi is right here -pulls back a curtain dividing the room to reveal a battered and bruised Ralphi though with few bandages that Arthur. - She will be fine like you. Now relax my son and tell me what happened after you got separated from the others.

Leon and Oleana walk in just at that moment.

Leon: I'd like to know that my self, Shira filled us in on what happened with her group and i'll tell you once you give us your story.

Oleana: yes it is vital we know so that we can try to determine what this group, TS is up to.

Arthur: - relaxes and realizes in his condition he likely could not have done much. - Fair enough well once Ralphi and the others fell into that trap my O power went into high gear. if not for the training Shira gave me i'd likely be dead. Once that old bloke said he had Ralphi i saw red and everything is a blank for a bit then - explains about the trap with the stunfisks and the fight - One last thing.... He said he needed me for some kind of experiment but fif not say why..... maybe that's what they wanted with Ralphi too?

Ava: - sighs - As i figured , just like your father your rage gets going and you act more bull than man. You ought to thank those stunfisks as those shocks likely saved you from capture as they brought you to your senses. Even if they did mess up your ankles something fierce. This experiment business worries me ..... especially after the monstrosity Shira, ralphi and Bede fought and that mini black Kyurem you battled.

Leon: yeah i have to agree - fills Arthur in on what happened with Ralphi's group- After that she went looking for you and found you right after you won against that masked fellow .... I agree on the experiments angle , i'll relay that bit of info to the IP and your Uncle Prang who is currently busy in a conference call with some of the beastial big wigs.

Arthur: about what happened to me no doubt... -looks at Oleana- is the Chairman okay?

Oleana: Chairman Rose will be fine but after what he wen t through he needs time to rest and recuperate so the next round of the finals will be postponed which is convenient for you and Ralphi as otherwise you would be forced to drop out as neither of you are in any shape to compete. Our acting Chairman will make the announce in an hour.

Ava; who is the acting chairman?

Leon: That would be, Mind i'll just be the one speaking to the public Oleana will do all the hard work behind the scenes.

Ralphi: [ you will do fine dad ] -giggles a bit as for the last 10 minutes she pretended to be asleep after being awoken by Arthur's voice. -

Every one jumps slightly and Arthur groans in pain a bit as he landed on his burnt left side.

Leon: Ralphi -hugs his daughter gently- how are you feeling sweetheart?

Ralphi: sore....where are Gran and Bede are they okay?

Oleana: Bede is fine aside from a few bruises , Shira well she is tough as nails and is fine as well. No one else was injured in the operation aside from the two TS grunts who got battered by the door Shira punched in.

Leon: your gran is handling White and seeing her home as Lapis could not handle her any longer. -looks at arthur knowing he and Lapis are close- Lapis is catching up on her sleep after being here all night with your mum.

Ralphi: -nods glad everyone is okay or will be soon and Then looks at Arthur - We are a mess - smiles slightly -

Arthur: - also smiles- yeah me maybe a bit more than you.

Ava: That's not even up for debate Arthur, between your severely cut up ankles and 1st and second degree electrical burns on your left side your injuries outweigh Ralphi's easily.

Leon: yeah Ralphi most got away with just a bruised rib and some other bruises and small cuts, a few muscle strains and you both had collapsed from extreme exhaustion. Mind your pokemon were battered pretty well too -returns them - I had them tended to and they are fine but like the two of you they could stand a few days rest before any battling.

Ralphi: -call out Softy and cuddles him- [thanks dad]

Softy: -baas happily and snuggles -

Arthur: -thank you Leon. I guess Ralphi and I best concentrate on healing up now.

Leon: exactly, Shira, Prang and Lapis should be by later to Visit I have to go make that announcement now.

Oleana: yes you do , follow me to the TV studio - is well aware of leon's lack of a sense of direction -

After they leave Ava fusses over the pair for a while then leave them to rest while she goes to get a meal, a shower and change clothes.

meanwhile in a hotel room across town

Prang: -on a video call and having informed Esme and other heads of the great houses of the current situation the other heads of houses nodded and hung up but Esme felt entitled to berate Prang for allowing Arthur to be injured - Arthur will be fine Esme there is no need to fly your personal physician to tend to him.

Esme: Very well , but I will hold you personally responsible if anything happens to him in Galar! I always said we should have secreted him and Ava back in the high mountains of Fauna rather than sending them away.

Prang: - sighs as this discussion was had years ago when the decision to send a very pregnant Ava into hiding was being hotly debated. - Fine i will accept that responsibility in the highly unlikely event it becomes necessary.

Esme: Very well then. Have you made arrangements for our young chief to be to transported back to Fauna after the pokemon tournament is complete?

Prang: Yes that has all been handled. Flight to the international airport in Orre and then a second flight on Pidgeot airlines * to the airport outside our capital.

* Small airline based in Fauna as there is no where large enough to build an international airport in the mountainous region.

Esme: very well, as i agreed i will prepare an appropriate welcome and a party later that day to welcome him home.

Prang: -nods and groans inward knowing full well with Esme at the helm both with be well beyond whats is necessary as the woman loves to flaunt her wealth and influence while also admitting as soon as word gets out Arthur was coming to fauna they would have more people wanting to be at the airport to greet him then could be safely handled. - Very well I know those are well in hand.

Gadgetz: Well that went to hell in a handbasket but at least we go the information from Rose.... now to attend to business. -accesses the computer - Bloody hell ... did nae see that coming ... no wonder the woman was cold as ice....

As Leon and Oleana head into the Corviknight taxi to where they will make the public announcement, Leon gets a call from Shira.

Leon: Hey, Shira. How are you feeling?
Shira: Ay, Leon.. meh old bones are sore's fook afteh what happened, but a good nites sleep in meh bed should'elp.... I'll be headen' back home wit' White to rest up as well'sta scrounge up an old numbeh.. Speakin off... Do ya remembeh Mr. Turd?
Leon: Mr. Tur-.... Mustard? What about him?
Shira: Aye, That Prang fellah is wishin' ta get Arthur over there for trainin'. I'd been holden' off on makin' da call, but he'd been pushin' meh a bit hardeh since yestaday... But I need'e ask you... Wouldcha mind if I went'n got an Armor pass for Ralphi as well? Granted, she ain't olde' nuff yet ta go, so I'll be helpin'er train ta defend 'erself, stuffin' the pass in meh dressah in ta meantime....
Leon: O.O Now when you say "Defend herself"?
Shira: I meen'ta throw a punch, and teh tuffin' er'up in case dat Champion power 'appens again. White could 'elp wit dat, too... I neeta make sure she's safe.
Leon: Well... I know your heart is in the right place, and I trust you to not get too rough with her, but I feel like this is coming from someplace else as well... is everything okay?
Shira: *Thinks about what "Luana" said to her* ...I'm just... concerned 'tis all. Sumthin's tellen me ta be worreh'd...So once the GT is oveh, I'mma try'na help teh best I can.

While all this is happening, back at the hospital, Lapis has shown up and the two explain what happened.

Lapis: Man, I don't think I could've handle seeing all that, let alone being there... I'm just glad you two are alive.... *Gives a gentle hug to Arthur*
*Ralphi is giving a pouty face*
Lapis: Don't worry, I got you too. *goes and gives her a hug as well* You know, I REALLY got lucky in perspective... I just had to deal with the flaming pillows White was making.
Arthur: O.O Wait, wasn't she wasted?!

*The talk continues for a bit when Ralphi turns to look at the slightly opened door and sees a familiar strand of hair poking out*
Ralphi: Hey, Softy. Can you get him for me?
*Softy bahs, then jumps down and opens the door*
Allister: Umm... Hey, Ralphi... I.. *Shyly walks in, staring at Arthur and Lapis*
Ralphi: *Remembers that he isn't used to them yet* It's okay, Allister.
Allister: I just wanted to stop by... and wish you well.... and... *timidly places a small basket if food on the small table* It's filled with food... I hope you like it... I have to go now... get well soon... You, too, Arthur..
Ralphi: *Waves* Bye, Allister.
*Softy "bah"s goodbye and he jumps back on Ralphi's bed*
Lapis: Daww... That's nice of him...
Ralphi: *blushes a bit* Yeah.... Oh! Something I forgot about that weird punching thing-

the group continues the talk for a while before moving onto a few card games and resting, With Prang visiting again after recieving the news from Shira...

Galarian story day 24 Recovery and plans for the future. plus Tourney pairings!

The day passed into night and into morning of what looked to be a beautiful day, Ralphi and Arthur were eating breakfast while watching Leon on The TV discussing the tourney.

Leon: The unfortunate delay aside we have the pairings drawn and have decided to announce them now to give the trainers a chance to make best use of the unexpected down time. The first pairing is - handed a sheet of paper by Oleana who is just off camera - Ralphi of Postwick versus Marnie of Spikemuth! -announces additional pairings- The final pairing of the first round of the second stage of the Tournament is Arthur Tauriel of Postwick Versus Bede! who is currently slated to take over for the retiring Opal as Ballonlea Gym leader!

The broadcast continues for a bit with Leon answering a few questions then shifts to a pair of reporters in studio discussing the pairings.

Arthur: well neither of us got an easy first round draw but it looks like that the soonest we could have to face each other would be the finals. Bede is gonna go all out against me.

Ralphi: -nods- Yea Marnie will be giving it her all as well to bring more attention to her hometown. -nods- if we both make it that far.....

Arthur: you know if we can get past Bede and Marnie i am betting we will make it as none of the others seems to have as much to prove by beating us.

Ralphi: -consider- maybe, just beating either of us after we were hyped up so much inthe last round would be a huge deal for anyone.

Arthur: Fairpoint that, well i suppose for now lets concentrate on getting better and winning our first matches, we can't go train our teams yet but we can try to reason out how to approach the matches we have ahead of us. -knows Ralphi might get released as early as tomorrow and he has at least two days left in hospital thanks to his burns-

Ralphi: True we both have battled them before and while they are sure to have changed up their teams we have some idea of their style and can use that to plan.

They finish breakfast then discuss ideas on how to approach there matches for the next hour then Lapis joins them and chats with both having brought them clothes and a few small gifts and stacks of letters of fans as somehow reports of their being in the hospital leaked out to the press despite Oleana's best efforts to suppress it.

meanwhile in a distant location:

Gadgetz: -typing into a computer- the new bodies will be ready in 48 hours and 2 days after that to upload you both into them. - angry bleeps - Can't be helped so don't go blaming me for you getting your selves blown up. I have better news the Info we got from Rose checks out and once your both up and around again we can proceed. On top o' that the delay isn't that bad seeing as they had to delay the Tournament, a bit of nice work they pulled covering up the real story as to why as well. -satisfied bleeps- As for me i have to devise a way to handle that Shira gomez, who is seemingly more a force o nature than a woman! -agreeable bleeps-


-back at the hospital-

Prang: - walking to Arthur and ralphi's room to check on them and to deliver the news to Arthur that they will be departing as soon as practical after the Tournament. As he does he recalls the conversation he had on the phone with Shira this morning.

3 hours earlier

Shira: Hey Prang, I got that moldy ol Turd to agree to train the both of them and cough up the needed passes and will send on Arthur's when it arrives. More than that though i think it best that once the Tourney is over we best seperate them for a while, if these team stellar blokes are after the pair o them it would be betteh to split them up so they cannae get them both at once.

Prang: Thank you Shira. I have to agree, after what Arthur said about them wanting him for some manner of experiment , I'd bet they want ralphi for the same thing. Add to that the fact the went out of their way to seperate them at the base. Mind i am not sure why they tried to take you down too, Bede was likely just in the wrong place at the wrong time.


Shira: Aye they had to have need more than a wee bit o' time to set those trap up. Not sure meself , would have been smarter to just trap Ralphi and leave me out of it, best guess is they wanted to eliminate me so i could not interfere later. I'll be training up Ralphi so she can make best use of her Gomez strength to protect her self.


Prang: Agreed. Good idea. Arthur has plenty of training ahead of him as well. Mind I am getting plenty of pressure from your dear Aunt Esme to bring Arthur to Fauna as soon as possible.


Shira: Dear aunt my bloody arse. The woman cannae bring herself to look at me and sure as hell don’t claim meh as kin and the feelin’s mutual! Warn Arthur to stay well clear o that one’s claws. They are as sharp as her mind.


Prang: No need to be warn me of that , mind I suspect she already is plotting to try to have one of great granddaughter’s catch Arthur’s eye. Makes me really glad he and Lapis have feelings for each other.


Shira: Aye that sounds like that old crank. I don’t doubt that if she has been watching the tourney on the telly she figured out the connection between me and Ralphi and may have designs on her. Though I’d kill her before I’d let her take Ralphi from me. Aye that will be a bit o blow to her ambitions if Arthur and Lapis tie the knot some day. Might even come to da wedding just to see the look on auntie's face - amused by the thought -


Prang: …. I’d not be much surprised if she has but she is no fool and isn’t likely try to direct take Ralphi from you , trickery and persuasion are more her forte. Yes it very much would be and Arthur would be better off for it.

Shira: Aye that' s true, she is a cunning one though i don't doubt she has the Gomez's strength even if she has never used it. Aye. our kind need a solid leader that is tough enough to not let him self be influenced or controlled by anyone and puts the good o the tribes before all else.

Prang: Indeed. I best let you go now as i have a few errands to do before heading to the hospital to see Arthur and Ralphi and deliver the new info .

Shira: aye, I best go too White is trying to make breakfast and it smells like more than the toast might be burning!

Prang: -walks into the room - Hello Ralphi, Arthur and you too Lapis -is not surprised to see her - It's good to see you both are feeling and looking better.

Arthur: Thanks Uncle. But i'll feel better when i can escape hospital food. -chuckles then groans as laughing made his still healing burns throb-

Ralphi: -sets aside the model of a wooloo a fan sent her - Yeah its not the best but if ti helps us get better.... - can sense Mr. Prangs has some important news -

Lapis: It's to see you mr. Prang. Arthur is recovering nicely the nurses say he might not even scar much.

Prang: Good to hear. Well since your here Lapis and this news affects you if you still wish to go with Arthur to Fauna I may as well tell you now.

Arthur: Whats the news Uncle? -hides fears he is going to have to drop out of the tourney and leave as soon as he gets a clean bill of health from the doctors-

Lapis: Yes I still intend to go with Arthur after getting my parent's permission , i have called them and they are okay with it but want to meet Arthur before officially giving permission.

Arthur: - is now also nervous about meeting Lapis' parents -

Ralphi: - fearful she will have to say good bye to her big bro sooner than expected and sad Arthur may miss out on the rest of the tournament -

Prang: The news is this, due to Pressure from back home in Fauna, Arthur we will have to depart on the first available flight after the tournament ends. As such I have spoken to Miss Oleana and she has arranged a Corvisknight to take to and from Lapis' home village. -hands lapis a card- just call that number when your ready. I suggest you go they day your let out of here. I also arranged passports for both of you. Neither of you will need to pack much as i have already begun to arrange so you will have everything you need waiting for you. Lapis you will be staying with me, my wife and our kids. Arthur you will be staying with Rowan, The Willow sage, The last surviving plant beastial and the longest lived of our kind. She is the last who's memory stretches back to before the great wandering though she was but a child then. She will begin your training though she is only the first of a number of our kind who will train you. Then after that i have arranged with the help of Ralphi's Gran Shira to have you trained by the master who once trained her and your father.

Ralphi: Arthur is gonna get trained by the turd? -only knows him by that name as that's what her gran referred to him as. -speaks without her pen as she is so surprised by the news. -

Prang: yes by Master Mustard, it's not traditional per say but it is inline with norms that the chieftain to be seek training to master himself before taking his place as leader of our people. Your father's investment as Chieftain was as i understand it rushed and out of norms but he had completed the traditional training by then at any rate.

Lapis: -nods- That's fine with me. I suppose I will need to stay apart from Arthur while he trains? - assuming based on similar things she has seen in movies and read in books-

Ralphi: I'll come visit when I can I promise and bring Gran and your mum too!

Prang: Exactly, Arthur will need to stay celibate during training and a lovely distraction such as yourself will only make that harder. I suggest you use that time to meet more of our kind and win them over and find something in fauna that motivates you to help make it a better place. Sooner or later it will get out that you and Arthur are close so it's best to make a good impression. Good idea Ralphi - privately doubts Shira will ever set foot in Fauna unless it's to punch her aunt square in the face-


Arthur: -nods- On the plus side Lapis, if have to stay away from girls while training you won't need to worry about other's hitting on me. - has his heart set on Lapis but isn't sure of how to properly express it yet -

Lapis: true enough -nods- I will take your Advice Mr. Prang. if Fauna is to be my new home it is best i learn alli can about it and it's people.

Prang: Good Good. Now i must be going as I have to make some calls home to Fauna to check up on certain preparations. Ralphi make sure these two behave.

Ralphi: i will! -sends Softy to separate Lapis and Arthur , Softy does so while trying and failing to look fierce-

Prang: - smiles, nods and departs-

The trio talk about all that was just revealed to them and pass they day in pleasant chat as not so far away both Marnie and Bede consider their draws in the Tournament -

Galarian Howl 23.9 "Cleared"

A few days have passed and Ralphi was cleared to go from the hospital.... However....

Ralphi: *Gives a hug to Arthur while he's still in the hospital bed* I promise I'll visit you tomorrow and when you're cleared as well.
Arthur: Thank you Ral- Ack, too hard!
Ralphi: Oops... sorry.. *lets go*
Lapis: So what's the plan? Is Leon going to help you around town?
Ralphi: *shakes her head* I already have my day planned. Firstly I'm going to see how Sharps is doing.
*Ralphi is walking down the streets of Wyndon*
*She's a bit nervous, being the first time she's walked through a busy town by herself. It doesn't help that the thought of Team Stellar is after her as well*
Ralphi: O.O *she puts her mask on, as she sees the crowd looming over her in an exaggerated way* (Calm down, Ralphi... Remember what Piers told you back in Spikemuth. Take deep breathes, clear your head, and if anyone talks to me, think of them as a friend I haven't met yet... ) *She doesn't realize the shadow behind her shoulder* (But what if they're mean people who don't want to be friends at all. Then I'd be lying to myself and them as well, and they would hate me even more, and then if they're Team Stell-) *hears a crunch on her shoulder* AHH!!
*She turns and flails her arms a bit before falling on her back, feeling something plop on her stomach after landing*
*She looks up*
Morpeko: *munches on a pecha nut* Mor!
*Ralphi makes a huge sigh of relief*
Marnie: Ah, THAT'S where you ran off to! Sorry, Ralphi... *reaches a hand out to help her up*
Ralphi: It's okay, Marnie. *gets up* I was just lost in thought...
Marnie: I can understand that. This place is SOO much bigger than Spikemuth... Anyways, I'm so excited that the first match is between us!
Ralphi: Me, too! I can't wait to see what you use in the battle!
Marnie: Trust me when I say the big guy will knock your socks off! Just promise you'll do your best! That and to not be upset if I end up winning, okay? I AM aiming to beat your dad, after all.
Ralphi: I promise, and same to you. *the two fistbump* take care!

*With that small distraction helping her mind ease up, Ralphi finally reaches the Pokemon Center where Sharps was being taking care of*
Nurse: Good morning. How may I help you today?
Ralphi: *takes a deep breath* H..Hello... my name is... Ral...Ralphi... *takes another breath* I'm here to check on... my Aegislash named Sharps.... *holds her ID up for verification*
Nurse: *checks and searches on computer* Okay, It looks like your Aegislash has made a full recovery. one moment please... *turns to another computer*
Ralphi: (See? It's not THAT hard... Just take a few breaths... )
Nurse: *puts a tray down with a pokeball on it* And here is your pokemon back, healthier than every. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Ralphi: Thank you... *Takes the pokeball* you.. too...
And after that, I want to train my pokemon a bit more...
*just outside of Wyndon*
*Ralphi tosses out Sharps, with his cracked shield being completely repaired and shinier than ever*
Ralphi: Sharps! Your shield looks amazing! *Sharps blushes a bit* Hey, maybe I should try ad find a polish for you? Would you like that? *sharps jumps up and down* Alright. First, we need to train. *tosses Sips out*
and lastly, I want to try to find something at the store.
*much later, Pokemart*
*Ralphi has a small handbasket with some curry supplies, a can of "Mickey's Popular steel-type Pokemon shining polish" and a few berries *
*She heads into the clothes section and sees the league clothes section*
Ralphi: (come on... YEAH!) *giggles as she grabs a shirt with leon's emblem on it* (Finally! Been wanting one for so long!) *She looks over and sees Bea, heads over*
Bea: Ralphi! *fistbumps* Allister told me what happened. how are you feeling?
Ralphi: I'm feeling better now that i healed up. Even more that I finally found this! *Holds up the shirt*
Bea: *Chuckles* Nice find.
Ralphi: Yeah! I just wish it wasn't a Wyndon Exclusive...
Bea: I know, right? Leon's the champ. his merch should be everywhere! *thinks about her collection of shirts at home* ...
Ralphi: It was nice seeing you again, Bea. Tell Allister I said hi!
Bea: I will, and tell Arthur I still want that wrestling match one day.
Ralphi: Can do!

Ralphi: And after that, I'm going to go home a cook some curry! I'll save some for you!
Arthur: Thank you, Ralphi.
Ralphi: Not a problem. Bye guys! *begins to head out* Oh! *tosses Softy out* Softy, make sure they behave themselves and keep Arthur company. I'll be back tomorrow.
*Softy bahs as they hug, he heads in and watches the two of them*

Ralphi's day went exactly as planned, and with a few pleasant surprises as well, She had a beautiful great sleep that night, another day goes by with nothing noteworthy happening, however... then the day came, to head for her match in the Grand Tournament.

Galarian story day 24/25 leaving the hospital and meeting parents.

Arthur was glad he had Softy and Lapis to keep him company as it would have been powerfully lonely in the hospital room without them since Ralphi was released. The highlight of the day was when Oleana and his mum visited and he learn Chairman rose was scheduled for release in 3 days but might still need some time at to recuperate. While they were there the doctor came in an examined Arthur and gave him the okay to leave in the morning provided he abstained from pokemon training for 24 hours after being released. Arthur readily agreed and the doctor left.

Arthur sudden had a thought and decided since he was going to meet Lapis' parents in the morning he ought to tell his mum.

Arthur: Mum, as i think you would want to know , I will be going to meet lapis' mum and dad to get their okay for her to travel to Fauna with me.

Ava: -smiled as she was proud of how much more mature he son had become since starting on his pokemon journey - I am glad you told me now, as now i have time to go buy you something presentable to wear to meet them in! You are as hard on clothes as your father was. So what's the plan for this meeting?

Oleana: I can recommend an excellent men's shop , it provides all of the Chairman's suits. Top quality clothing and excellent tailors though there is not time for custom work right now.

Lapis: WAIT! It's gonna be casual, meeting for lunch at my home and then straight back here after it's done. -cannot picture Arthur wearing a suit -

Ava; Casual is fine, i will find something appropriate seeing as i am sure all of the clothes Arthur has with him are either threadbare, torn or stained beyond belief.

Arthur: - says nothing as other than the Pajamas he is wearing his mum is correct. - err thats fine mum but get it here soonish as we will be leaving right after breakfast tomorrow.

Ava: No sweat dear -hugs her son gently - Softy keep these two out of trouble okay? - Softy Baas - Now Oleana can you give me the address of that men's shop?

Oleana: I can take you there I have to go there to request a suit for the chairman to wear when he is released anyway.

Ava: Excellent. behave you two! -heads out with Olena-

Lapis: your mum is great , a bit intense maybe but nice.

Arthur: yeah thats mum alright. I just hope she doesn't go over board with the clothes....

That afternoon Marnie visited along with her brother Piers and left a get well card and wished Arthur luck in the tournament. At around 4pm a package arrived from a local men's shop and to Arthur's immense relief it contained a new pair of jeans and a light tan shirt that was best described as business casual. and a new pair of hiking boots Along with it was a pack of socks and underwear which caused Arthur to blish ever so slightly and lapis to giggle.

The rest of the day and evening passed peacefully and when visiting hours ended Lapis gave Arthur a good night kiss and they got growled at by Softy for kissing a lil too long. She then left for the hotel room Oleana had arranged for her.

The night past quietly and when morning came arthur ate breakfast quickly and when he was given clearance to leave he quickly dressed in his new clothes and loaded up his bag with his old stuff which Lapis who had arrived just after he was dressed insisted on carrying it. Showing him she was stronger than he had thought. Ralphi arrived to collect Softy and reward her wooloo with a berry for the good work it had done.

Ralphi: good luck on meeting Lapis's mum and dad - a lil jealous she doesn't get to go but knows the Corviknight Taxi that Oleana set up only carries two passengers. I like your new clothes.

Arthur: Thanks Ralphi . I think I am going to need it - more nervous than before the first gym battle - I like them too, Mum has always had good taste in clothes.

Lapis: -already called the taxi which is waiting a block a way- It will be fine Arthur, -agrees with Ralphi and thinks Arthur looks ruggedly handsome in them, which in her opinion is a good look for him. Anyways we have to go , even with the taxi is quite a trip there and back.

Ralphi: Okay, see you both soon! want me to send Softy to baby sit you two? -teases-

Arthur: -laughs- we will be fine thanks -hugs ralphi then they head out.

The trip takes a bit over 2 hours as it over a small range of low mountains and up along the coast and they touch down an hour before lunch so Lapis shows him around the town which he can see is mainly made up of farmers, fisherman and sailors. Soon they head to Lapis' house which is a little ways outside the village on a bluff overlooking the ocean. As they arrive a middle aged women with curly light brown hair with a small streak of blue and goat horns the same size as Lapis and a sea otter beastial dressed in typical sailor's garb, but his most notable feature are vividly blue eyes.

Sapphire: Welcome Arthur, to our home . I am Lapis's mum.

Arthur: It is nice to meet you at last Mrs. Lazuli, Lapis has told me much about you all good of course.

Sapphire: good to hear, i trust you have both behaved yourselves?

Lapis: We have mum.

Rorc: -walks over and shakes Arthur's hand which despite his being the elder is nearly dwarfed by Arthur's- Nice to meet you laddie, or should i call ye chief in training? I am Rorc Lazuli, yer sweetheart ol pa and first mate on the good ship Bluebell, that freighter ye may have seen in the harbor.

Arthur: -shakes Rorc's hand- Nice to meet you sir and just call me Arthur as I am not yet Chief. i am glad to meet you at last Mr. Lazuli.

Rorc: arr call me Rorc , don't like being referred as mister unless i am on duty aboard ship - smiles broadly -

Arthur: Fair enough Rorc. I expect will not want to be referred to as chief when not necessary.

Sapphire: - pleased her husband seems to be taken with their daughter's boyfriend- I take it Lapis fulfilled her grandmother's final wish?

Arthur: She did and as i told her i hold only Azure responsible for the things he did and as he is long dead that matter is settled.

Rorc: Aye then that's a matter finally settled then, now the missus has a fine pot of fish chowder and fresh bread awaiting shall we get to it? - really misses his wife's cooking while away at sea and like to eat as much of it as he can while on shore leave. -

Lapis: Mum is a great cook Arthur, lets go eat - has missed her mum's cooking -

Sapphire: Aye , i do and let go, time is not our friend and we have important business to discuss.

They all agreed and went into the humble cottage and enjoyed a simple but delicious lunch which Lapis told arthur was a typical meal in the village as fish and shellfish were big parts of the diet. Soon it came time to get down to business.

Arthur: - summons up his courage as it is his place to make the formal request and imagines Ralphi telling him to be brave to do so - Well as you are aware after the tourney is over the closing ceremony complete i will be as soon as a flight can be booked will be leaving for Fauna , the beastial home region. So i wish to formally ask for your permission for Lapis to accompany me.

Sapphire: -stays silent but has questions she will ask once her husband says his piece as they agreed to the night before. -

Rorc: I hear ye and Lapis has told us, first off i want to say been watching the gym challenge off an on when not on duty and i want to say your a braw battler. also I met your Pa when i was a lad about your age, he came to the village for the annual celebration of first landfall in Fauna. which i am sure you will learn all about soon enough. Now on to my daughter, have the two of you .....remained ..err...innocent ..if you know what I mean. -doesn't like to think of his daughter doing such things but she is a teen and knows such things happen-

Arthur: Thank you Rorc and I am sure my head will be nearly to the bursting point by the time my training is complete. You are originally from Fauna? We are, the most we have done is kiss and snuggle a bit. Lapis means alot to me and me to her and as such we have controlled ourselves.

Rorc: Good good, glad to know ye got some self control. Aye from lagoon village, my uncle is Skipper of the village, though as he was getting on in year me Cousin Deyna might have taken is da's place by now. Shipped out when i was eighteen with only me seabag and a huge case of wanderlust. all that changed some years later when i met Sapphire and fell head over heels. Now if ye know what living arrangements have been made for the two of you?

Lapis: -remains quiet but thinks Arthur is doing splendidly -

Arthur: Ah I see, my Uncle Prang said it has become more common for young beastials to head out to explore the wider world after reaching adult hood. Well Lapis willbe staying with my Uncle and his family and i will staying with someone called Rowan. Uncle called her The willow Sage?

Rorc: Aye tis true ever since normal folk have accepted us many have gone exploring to learn about the rest of the world. -nods- Ah that will do nicely , ah yes heard of her, never met her though. tis said she only choose to meet a select few these days. Well me minds made up, Sapphire your up if ye have any questions?

Sapphire: I only have one but it is important. have you given Lapis a pearl? - onlys about this tradition as Rorc proposed to her in this fashion and explained it to her. -

Lapis: MOM! - embarrassed her mom brought that up but supposes she should have seen it coming -

Arthur : No I have not yet done so , as the time is not right and i have not yet had the chance to find out as tradition dictates.

Sapphire: ah understandable, training pokemon takes alot of time, took the challenge when i was a girl before i met Rorc but never got past the 3rd gym. I have no more questions -nods to her husband -

Rorc: then we give you our permission, Take care of our little girl and when ye finally find that pearl and pop the question give us a call to let us in on the good news. -shakes Arthur's hand and claps him on the back-

Arthur: of course sir, you will be one of the first we call when it happens, my own mum will be up there as well of course.

Sapphire: oh course she would want to know. -smiles- Arthur I may make a trip to visit your mum when i have the time. it is a bit of trip to travel so far to the other end of the region .

Lapis: I am sure Ava will be delighted to meet you. -debates if she should warn them of Arthur's unique neighbor but decides to let it be a surprise-

Arthur: Agreed i am sure she will be, I wish we could stay longer but our time is about up.

Rorc: arr no sweat Arthur me matey , i'll just have to take you to the pub to meet the rest o the crew of the Bluebell another time .

Arthur: -hopes Rorc is not being serious -

Lapis: - resists facepalming as she knows her dad is serious -

After saying their goodbyes they headed back to the taxi and baack to Wyndon arriving a bit later than expected due to a detour caused by a storm and share a dinnerof room service with Ralphi at the hotel before turning in for the night.

Galarian Howl part 24: "Change of plans"
The title is accurate in multiple ways, too. I was going to have this one longer, but my head started hurting again so I'll do the second half tomorrow. I DON'T want to mess this up.

The time has finally come for the Second half of the Grand Tournament, and with the crowd all getting setted, Ralphi and Arthur are chatting in the locker room in the meantime, including topics like Ralphi's shopping and Arthur's visit to Lapis' parents.

Arthur: And then he suggested taking me to the pub to meet his crew, but I'm not entirely sure if he was joking.
Ralphi: I hope so. I wouldn't wanna think of you getting drunk like gramma does. You might start headpatting some strangers on accident! *chuckles a bit before Arthur headpats her*
Arthur: Don't worry. Even if I do go, I wouldn't drink that much. (Hopefully...) So, You ready for your match with Marnie?
Ralphi: *nods* heck yeah! *the large TV screen turns out* Oh! the intro is starting!
Support crew: Ralphi! Please make your way to the blue corridor in 5. Your battle will begin shortly. *Ralphi gives a thumbs up and uses her sign pen*
Ralphi: [Okay]
Arthur: Well, you better get out there.

*Ralphi then grabs her mask and heads to the blue corridor, ready to be called*



*The TV intro cuts from Leon's intoduction to the announcers table*
Nikki: And we are back at three Grand Tournament! Today we begin to see the finest trainers Galar has brought us this year facing each other to reach ther chance to battle the Champion!
Nigel: That is indeed true, my friend! And what a first battle we're getting after a small break! First up, it's one of the two trainers that started their journeys with 3 recommendations to enter the league challenge, a fan favorite with her kind heart and she even got a nickname from Nessa herself! Let's welcome the first competitor from the blue corridor, Ralphi!!

*Ralphi makes her way into the center of the stadium, waves*
*the crowd begins to cheer and chant*

Nikki: And her opposite is certainly not one to be taken easily, carving her path with relative ease thanks her fanbase cheering her on throughout her journey, to the point that they were quite disruptive to the other competitors-
Nigel: Speaking of disruptive! Someone has made their way to the field unannounced!

*Arthur watches the screen*
Nikki: Hold on... Is that, Challenger Bede?!
Arthur: *Facepalming* Bede, come on...

*It cuts to the center of the stadium where Bede stands across Ralphi*
Ralphi: [Bede! What are you doing?!]
Bede: Hold on a moment, Ralphi... *A camera drone Rotom approaches*
Rotom: Bede. You are currently unauthorizzzed to be here at thizz time btzz..
Bede: I am aware of that, but I need to settle a score with challenger Ralphi here. *he looks up where the Chairman's skybox* I'm well aware that this is against the rules, but I must ask, no, beg you... Chairman Rose. Please swap my spot in the tournament so I can battle Ralphi.
Ralphi: [Bede, I know you want to battle, but can't it wai-]
Bede: No, it can't. I need this battle to happen now... for so long, I've looked down on you, calling you a coward, and wondering why we could never finish our battles. Even after you tackled that hologram to save Hattrem, I saw nothing brave from you.. "It was a fluke, nothing more"... until... *flashbacks to the TS base* ...I know we aren't supposed to go into details on what happened and I'm still not entirely sure what did, but what I know, is I saw... you... acting without hesitation...putting yourself at risk for others, just like Leon does.. while I just sat there UNTIL i was told to help... I spent this entire week thinking of that... on how I was the coward.. and maybe Arceus intervened from our battles, knowing if we did finish those battles, I wouldn't of learned my lesson... THAT'S why this battle needs to happen now. This is not a grudge... this is to proof worth, but not yours.... If I win this battle, then I know that I can be someone worthy of being a champion one day... but if I lose... I know it's too late for me, and I'll abandon my status as a trainer....
*Ralphi is taken back from this*

*Rose, Oleana and Leon are watching this unfold*
Bede: *focuses back to the skybox* So Chairman Rose. Please make this happen! Let be battle Ralphi! Let me prove my worth!!
Oleana: Chairman. I suggest we don't support this bad behavior.
Rose: You know, my dear, in most other scenarios, I'd agree... but this time, I'm not entirely sure... Leon, what do you say?
Leon: *thinking back* ...let Bede battle Ralphi. Trust me. I got a good feeling about this...
Rose: Hm..Something is telling me the same... *activates intercom* Challenger Bede...For this one time only... Your request is accepted. Now would the both of you kindly head back to the locker rooms. It would be quite rude to have her lose due to being ill-prepared for this matchup, wouldn't you say?
Bede: Yes sir...
Rose: Very good. The first battle will commence shortly. May the trainers please return to you respective locker rooms to get ready?
*Ralphi nods*

*The crowd is going crazy at this event*
Bede: Ralphi. Go and get your team ready. Don't hold back one bit, because I won't...
Ralphi: [Y... yeah, but... Were your serious... about your trainer status?]
Bede: *turns around* Of course I am... *begins walking back*

*A little bit later*
*Ralphi is getting her team set up*
Arthur: Somehow I'm surprised while also not.....
Ralphi: I know, it's weird... but I'm going to do my best... I just hope Marnie is taking it well.
Marnie: *Knocking Bede's arm in frustration* You jerk! You took my match against my bestie! Why couldn't you just let things be!!
Bede: *shielding himself* WOULD YOU KNOCK IT OFF, YOU MADWOMAN!!!
Arthur: Well, at least this will put an end to this rivalry... even though not in ways I'd like...
Ralphi: Same... but it needs to happen. *finishes prepwork* I'll see you after the match.
*Ralphi then makes her way to the stadium once again*

Galarian Howl part 24.5: "You are worthy"
I'm not sure how much dialogue i will have mid-battle.

*Ralphi meets Bede at the center of the Stadium*
Bede: It's finally time...
Ralphi: [Yeah... it is...]
*both of them get into theur respective places*
Nigel: And let the first match... BEGIN!!
Bede: Go, Mawile!
Ralphi: [You got this, Sharps!]

*Sharps stares down the mawile*
*Mawile starts the match using Play Rough, but Sharps uses King's shield to deflect it*
*Sharps then uses Iron head, catching Mawile offguard and causing it to flinch*
*The same turn repeats but Mawile, not flinching, uses crunch on Sharps' shield section*
*Sharp's returns the favor with a Sacred Sword strike, critical hitting it right off*
*Ralphi notices that Mawile's attack power hasn't dropped so she decides to try and stop stalling*
*Sharps goes for another Iron Head while Mawile takes this opportunityto use Fire fang*
*Both attacks land at the same time, but Sharps' strike lands a second critical hit, knocking out Mawile while just barely hanging on*

*Bede recalls Mawile and sends out Sylveon*
*Sharps uses Kings' guard to protect himself, but Sylveon uses Safeguard instead, protecting its team as well as wasting Ralphi's turn*
*Sharps then goes for an Iron head but Sylveon jumps up in the air to dodge it, using Shadow ball in the process and knocking Sharps out cold*
*Ralphi recalls Sharps and sends out Silli*
*Silli wastes no time and using dig to avoid Sylveon's moonblast by using dig right into the ground*
*Sylveon waits patiently, anticipating when Silli will pop from the ground*
*A few moments go by and the ground behind it begins to shake. it then jumps and turns, shooting another moonblast at the rupture*
*after the attack strikes, there's nothing there to be hit, Silli successfully faked her initially attack by quickly digging back down, this time emerging right under Sylveon as it lands and knocking it back into the air*
*Silli then uses Stone Edge to blast the rocks to the sky, Sylveon then uses Psyshock with enough force to nullify the attack as well as landing a bit of damage on Silli*
*Sylveon lands but sees that Silli dug underground again*
*Keeping in mind the tactic earlier, It waits for the second rupture*
*but Silli emerges from the first one, blasting right into Sylveon*
*This time, Sylveon already had an attack at the ready, landing a critical hit against Silli with a moon blast, knocking her out*

*Ralphi Recalls Silli and sends out Puppers*
*Puppers rushes in, uses Wild Charge*
*Sylveon attempts to use Shadow Ball while he rushes in, but Puppers quickly dodges as he runs in and land a direct blow to Sylpeon, knocking it out cold*
*Puppers shakes off the recoil damage as Bede sends out Rapidash*
Arthur: (Please don't go out and hug it, Ralphi...)
Ralphi: *Restrains herself from hugging Rapidash, at first mistaking it for ponyta, but those mean eyes stopped her*
*Puppers starts off using Thunder fang, but Rapidash rushes out of the way*
*it Quickly uses Drill run against puppers, landing enough damage to knock him out*
*Ralphi recalls Puppers and throws out Sips*

*Sips keeps an eye on Rapidash's movements, dodging every attack while ensuring he keeps one hand low to the ground, readying another trick*
*after three tries, Rapidash strikes Sips with a Zen Headbutt, knocking him upwards*
*Sips quickly spins in the air, takes aim and uses snipe shot on rapidash*
*Rapidash runs out of the way, swerving around and dodges the attacks..*
*Sips then readies a different attack as Rapidash was lured into his trap*
*Rapidash sees too late that the spots Sips was touching the ground earlier was placed with Hydro Pump "land mines" and it explodes as Rapidash runs over it*
*Sips then uses Ice Beam and freezes Rapidash in the watery explosion, causing it to look like a beautiful ice sculpture (unintentionally, tho) and knocking Rapidash out of contention*
*Sips blows the cold air off of his fingers like it was a smoking gun, acting all cool*

*The act fades, however, when Bede tosses out a Gardevoir that uses attract on him*
Ralphi: [Sips! Don't fall for it! You're not even in the same egg group!]
*Sips tries and breaks free from the spell but not getting hit by a magical leaf attack*
*Sips hangs in, shooting a snipe shot against the Gardevoir*
*Gardevoir falls over and uses Attract again, looking like an injured, saddened maiden*
*Sips unfortunately falls for this again, not attacking from infatuation*
*Gardevoir does a devilish smirk as it quickly uses Magically leaf again*
*Sips sees the smirk, acts quickly and uses ice beam on the leafs, turning its grass-typing into ice to survive the hit*
*Sips then blasts at Gardevoir with another ice beam, freezing it to the ground*
*Gardevoir tries to use attract to get another move in, but it fails. Sips uses Hydro pump to blast the gardevoir right out of the ice*
*Sips smack his face with a bit of water to knock some sense into himself, only to see the gardevoir still stands, blasting another wave of Magical leaves at his direction.*
*Sips once again tries to freeze the leaves, but enough make their way through, knocking Sips down*

*Ralphi recall Sips and sends out Ru*
*The Gardevoir tries to use Attract as Ru swoops in with a Steel Wing..*
*But Ru is best girl, ignoring it competely and landing a Steel Wing, perfectly time with Safeguard's effects to wear off for a critical hit*

*Bede recalls Gardevoir, thinks a moment, then tosses out a shiinotic*
*Ru swoops in for a drill pck, but Shiinotic uses Confuse ray, making Ru miss and crash into some of the ice left over from earlier*
*Shiinotic uses Leech seed, attaching energy draining seeds on Ru's back*
*Ru takes to the air again, once again trying to use steel wing, but the confusion strike again, crashing into the ground*
*Shiinotic takes this time to use Stun Spore on Ru, Causing paralysis*
Ralphi: [Come on, Ru! you can do it!!]
*Ru struggles to get back up, getting hit by a moon blast in the process*
*As Shiinotic readies another moon blast, Ru summons up all of her determination, clearing the cunfusion and paralysis, and quickly strike Shiinotic with a drill peck with a critical hit*
*Unfortunately, the leech seed takes effect, taking Ru out as well*


*The crowd is going crazy as both trainers are down to their last pokemon*
Ralphi: (I really hope I chose right...)
Bede: (It's now or never..)

*Ralphi throws out Hatsy while Bede tosses out Hatterene*
*The two stare each other down, feeling the intensity of the situation*
...
*Hatterene begins with a Mystical Fire and Hatsy with Magical leaf*
*The fire quickly blast through the leafs and Hatsy teleports out of the way*
*the two teleport repeatedly, following up with a clash of Hatsy's Shadow Claw and Hatterene's power whip*
*The both get knocked back and proceed to teleport clash again*
*This goes on for a bit, but Hatsy manages to break the draw and lands a Shadow claw against her foe*
*Hatterene teleports before landing, blasting a Dark pulse against Hatsy's back*
*The two vanish and reappear constantly, going back and forth non-stop*

Nikki: These two hatterene aren't letting up one bit! I'm quite surprised at just how hard they're going in with this!
Nigel: That is indeed true! Could it be perhaps it could be the territorial nature of Hatterene's at play, or the sheer emotion coming from their trainers?!
Nikki: I'm thinking it could be a bit of both! Oh! And another hit connects for both!

*Both Hatsy and Hatterene recollect themselves after that last clash*
Bede: Alright, I had enough! It's time to finish this! *recalls Hatterene* It's time to show them why you're so special, Hatterene... CHANGE YOUR FORM AND CLAIM VICTORY!!!
*He fuels the pokeball with Dynamax energy and tosses it up, Hatterene erupts out, now in Gigantamax form*
*Ralphi quickly does the same for Hatsy*
Bede: G-max Smite!!!
Ralphi: [Max Starfall!!]
*The two attacks clash, the energy encompassing the entire area as the crowd cheers on*
Bede: Put more into it!!
Ralphi: [Keep going Hatsy!!!]
*The two pokemon continue to give all the their power into the attacks!!*
*It goes on for some time, the crowd going crazy!*
*And then....*

*The collision of the attacks reach the Apex, exploding in the middle of the stadium*
*Both Hatsy and Hatterene Fall out of the giant forms and land of the ground, both unable to continue, and both Ralphi and Bede shocked at this turn of events*

Bede: W..what happenes now?!?
Ralphi: [Yeah! I never seen a match ends like this!]
...
Rose: *intercom* In most circumstances, the battle would be considered a draw, therefore neither challenger is considered a winner or loser... but this is the Grand Tournament... The rules state that each trainer's pokemon must get back on their feet. When the first pokemon stands, there will be a count of ten. if both pokemon stand then the battle continues, but if not, then the standing pokemon is declared the victor. Now start cheering your pokemon on!

*The two trainers then begin to cheer their pokemon on the best they can*
Ralphi: [Come on, Hatsy! You can do it!]
Bede: Get up Hatterene! I know you can keep going!!
*The two pokemon struggle to get back up, both slowly rising up!*
Ralphi: [That's it, Hatsy! Keep it up]
Bede: Please, Hatterene! Stand up!! I know you can do this!!!!
*The two pokemon are almost completely up, with hatsy begin up further*
Ralphi/Bede: I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!
*Hatsy is the first to stand up, thus a drone rotom flies down and the count down begins*
*Bede continues to cheer Hatterene on*

2....
3....
4....
*Hatterene is so close*
Bede: Come on!! Hatterene!!! PLEASE!!!
7...
8...
*Hatterene collapses*
9...
10!

Nikki: And it is decided!! Challenger Ralphi moves on in the brackets!!!

*Ralphi quickly runs over to Hatsy and gives her a big hug in relief, and then stops to look at Bede*
*Bede's expression is of someone who's lost everthing... of shock, of defeat... the face of someone who is broken...*
....
*Tears begin to roll from his eyes... he shouts out in anger, drops into the ground, swinging his arms downwards, tucking his head down while he's on all fours... *

*Ralphi puts Hatsy back into her ball, and walks over, grabbing Hatterene on the way*
Bede: *Not even looking up* I... I'm not worthy... I was... wrong.. Go ahead, Ralphi! ...Tell me how I deserve this!! After everything I said to you! Treated you!! To have everything I worked for... mean nothing!!! Go on!!!! How horrible I am!! How I failed everyone around me!! Even....mom... I'm a failure... *sobbing continues*
....
*Ralphi, without saying a thing, gets on her knees, tilts him up, and gives him a big hug*
*Bede is confused.. not sure of what to do*
Ralphi: You're not a failure, Bede.... I'm sorry... No one should ever feel like that...and I don't blame you for anything... I know you miss your mom, and I'm sure if she was here, she'd be proud to see you here... You're an excellent person, Bede... you just lost your way a bit... and I'll do my best to help you back...
...
*Bede then breaks down, cries a bit more before hugging Ralphi back*
*The two of them stay there for a bit, with Hatterene joining in on the hug as well*
...
*Ralphi lets go and stands up, helping bede up (holding hatterene) as well*
*The crowd then cheers on, encouraging Bede to keep his trainer status*
Crowd 1. Don't give up, Bede! You'll get it next time!
Crowd 2: That battle was amazing! I'm sure you'll get better!!
Crowd 3: Stay in the league!!
*The crowd continues to chant on*
Ralphi: Well, they definitely think you're worthy and want you to compete again. As do I... So what do you say? Will you keep your status as a trainer? *joking smirk* I know a coward totally wouldn't, right?
Bede: *chuckles* ...Well, when you put it like that.. Then I guess I have no choice. I'll continue being a trainer, and I'll continue to better myself and my team... you better keep doing the same, too. Got it?
Ralphi: Got it.

*The two trainers fistbump before heading back to their respective corridors*
*Bede wipes the tears from his eyes, and his hatterene hugs him a bit*
*Ralphi smiles on, knowing she has her friend back*

Galarian story: 2nd round Arthur vs marnie an unexpected match up!

As the match plays out Arthur walks over to Marnie deciding he should try to soothe her anger and disappointment a little if he can.

Arthur: Hey Marnie, I ah well I guess we both got caught off guard by this Bede Business... but I guess we ought to make the best of it.

Marnie: -sighs and buries her anger as it's not arthur she is furious with - Yeah we did, heck you more than any one else understands the mess this made and thats even setting aside me wanting to battle Ralphi.

Arthur: yeah we both planned for a different opponent. worse we have never battled each other so neither of use have a good handle on the other's team or style.

Marnie: That's true well best we can do is battle hard and leave it all out there on the field, but I'll tell you this if bede wins and i beat you and i face bede inthe finals i will crush that prat!

Arthur: i won't be merciful either if he beats Ralphi.

They go back to watching the match and see Ralphi claim victory and Bede breaking down and admitting he was wrong about Ralphi and their friendship finally mended.

Marnie: umm you know i can't really stay too mad at Bede after that .... don't me wrong I am still bloody annoyed at not getting to battle Ralphi but i think maybe what happened with the matches getting swapped was a good thing for them.

Arthur: Same. I think maybe with all that anger at Ralphi settled Bede just might settle into being a fine Gym leader, I would not want to be in the next challenge and have to face him up in Ballonlea.

Marnie: Me either Opal was bad enough >_<. Bede will be brutal.

Just then Ralphi comes in and Arthur hugs her with out think lifts her off her feet which isn't exactly hard given their height differences.

Arthur: Heck of a battle Ralphi , well done. i am glad you and Bede finally worked things out.

Ralphi: -slightly blushy but also sweaty from her match- Thanks Arthur it was a really tough battle , can you put me down please?

Arthur: oops sorry -sets Ralphi down- got carried away.

Marnie -hugs Ralphi then lets her go- Great battle Ralphi. I guess we will have to wait to the finals to battle.

Ralphi: if you can beat Arthur and that's not gonna be easy. I'll be cheering for you both to do your best! - is not honestly sure if she should cheer for just one of them -

JUst then Bede walks past then stops and turns to face Arthur.

Bede: Arthur i still want a rematch someday! As a Gym leader I need to test myself to stay at my best! -offers his hand to shake-

Arthur: - shakes Bede's hand - You got it but seeing as I have a lot of things on my plate after the tournament is over it may be a while before i can give you the rematch.

Bede: so long as it happens that is enough. -continues on to heal his team-

Ralphi: when you face Bede again you best be ready I just barely beat him.

Arthur : I will be.

The matches continue and while they are solid bouts noe is quite as exciting as the match between Ralphi and Bede and then finally the last match of the first round is about to begin and after making a slight change in his team Arthur heads to his gate as Marnie heads to hers.

Nikki: Okay last match of the first round. It ought to be a real winner.

Nigel: Too right! Due to the last minute changes with the first match this one got switched as well. It's Arthur Turiel , the famed Bull of Postwick vs Marnie, the battler from Spikemuth! which has seen an upswing in tourism in recent days thanks to some of Marnie's recent battles raising public awareness of it! Win or lose this one ought to help even more!

NIkki: Indeed Nigel, an interesting twist here neither of these two have fought the other before today so they are both going in largely blind as neither would have had time to study the other's battles or access seeing as the waiting areas only show the current match and have social media and internet access heavily restricted to prevent cheating.

Nigel: Quite right Nikki, here they come now.


-Up in the chairman's suite-

Olena: -dislikes the changes to the draw due to her dislike of last minute changes to carefully made plans- well seems things and gone well despite the last second change.

Rose: Indeed. this should be interested, I have met this Arthur and Leon you have spoken to me about him, makes me pleased top see Adam's son has grown so strong being raised in Galar. It's a shame we can't keep him so to speak but his people need him.

Leon: They do, but I am sure in due time he will visit Galar again. He has been a great friend to my daughter Ralphi, with out much trying he really helped her break out of her shyness. I am also glad things worked out with that first match as i hoped. Bede had carried misplaced anger towards Ralphi for too long which is never healthy. I think ballonlea will have a gym leader to be feared in years to come, something Opal would approve of.

They all agree.

Down in the arena.

Arthur waves to the crowd as he walks resisting urges to facepalm at several banners being held up by teenage girls that read "MARRY ME!"

Marnie meets Arthur in the middle of the arena and she is pleased to see many folks from outside Spimuthg cheering for her and that Team Shout is behaving themselves.

Arthur: Lets give them a battle that will take their breaths away. Show me that Spikemuth style!

Marnie: -smiles wickedly as she realizes what Arthur is trying to do and is appreciative but is still going to go all out for the win- You want it you got it! -sends out Liepard-

Arthur responds with Phalanx his Falinks.

Marnie has her Liepard use Fake out causing Phalanx to flinch.

Arthur refuses to be rattled and has Phalanx use No Retreat to buff all its stats.

Marnie counters by recalling Liepard and sending out Toxicroak

Arthur smiles and has Phalanx use Zen headbutt OHKO Toxicroak.

Marnie snarls as she recalls Toxicroak and sends out Scrafty and quickly has him use SWagger on Phalanx which confuses him causing him to hit himself several times then finishes him with a brick breaK.

Arthur recalls Phalanx thanking him for a job well done and send out Mothra his butterfree and has her use Hurricane on Scrafty who barely dodges but and counters with Swagger confusing Mothra.

Mothra fights throw the confusion after hitting it's self twice and knocks out Scrafty with hurricane.


Marnie recalls Scrafty and sends out Obstagoon, a pokemon she planned to use in a strategy against Ralphi but kept in to use against Arthur.

Arthur recalls Mothra and sends out Tank who run head long into a Thunder punch from Obastagoon nearly OHKOing it.

Arthur fires back with headsmash but is repelled by Obatagoon using Obstruct then Obstagoon finishes off Tank with a Cross chop.

Arthur recalls him and sends out Paladin who uses steel wing catching Obstagoon while readying a move and landing damage.

Obstagoon counters with another Thunderpunch which Paladin narrowly survives but is paralyzed.

Arthur has paladin counter with Body press which Kos Obstagoon.

After that the battle continues with Paladin falling to LIepard and striker taking out Liepard but falling to critical hit from a Hangry mode Morepeko .

Marnie down to her last Pokemon sends out Grimmsnarl and Gigantomaxes him and Arthur counters with Stealth his Dragpult. despite knowing it's not a great match up as the fairy typing gives Grimmsnarl the edge.

Marnie opens up with Bulk up and Arthur counters with Double edge which does heavy damage to Grimmsnarl but is also hurt a good bit by the recoil.

Marnie has grimmsnal finish Stealth off with Spirit break.

Arthur recalls Stealth and sends out and gigantomaxes the injured and exhausted Mothra.

Nigel : here we go folks this match has been terrific , marnie has battle back from bad type match up to push Arthur to the brink of defeat! this next few moment will be decisive!

Nikki: indeed Nigel, this next exchange should decide the match as it is down to two tired and injured pokemon. both are gigantomaxed so its a battle of titans to the finish!

Arthur has Butterfree use Gmax Befuddle and it puts Grimmsnarl to sleep allowing butterfree to finish it off.

Nigel : That's it! Arthur Tauriel wins and advances! as good of a match as the first if you ask me!

Nikki: I agree Nigel. Both Arthur and marnie left everything on the field nothing was held back at all.

Arthur and marnie recall their pokemon then shakes hands.

Marnie: almost got you! if not for that G max move.....

Arthur: yeah Mothra saved my butt. You were awesome , despite having mostly bad type matches you came with in a hair of winning. -holds marnie's hands up - Give marnie a hand for a well fought battle!

The crowd cheers and a tears of happiness streak down marnie's face as despite losing she has done what she set out to do which was bring Spikemuth back into the public eye.

The pair head off to the separate tunnels.

Rose: That concludes the first round ! congratulations to the winners and well done to those who's challenge ends here after such a long road travelled. Hold up your head high and be proud. Tomorrow The Semi finals!

Arthur: -heads back to the waiting area humbled at how close he came to losing knowing full well he had never escaped defeat but such a narrow margin before. -

Galarian Howl part 25:
Just a small one today, guys.

With the first rounds finished up for the GT, Ralphi and Arthur head out and meet with Lapis at the diner.

Lapis: Those were some intense battles! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried for a bit there. Especially with your match, Ralphi
Ralphi: I know, right?! Bede is really good at raising his pokemon! I'm so glad I snuck a few training sessions before the tournament started up!
Lapis: So, do you guys have any plans on those two other trainers? Bil and Ted, right?
Arthur: Nothing too fancy, in all honesty. Those trainers battle pretty straight forward so we should do well against them.
Ralphi: Yeah! And then the last battle will be against us!
Lapis: Well, Social media definitely believes so. *shows them the current polls on the phone*
Arthur: 79% votes?! Wow!
Ralphi: Huh. I kinda feel bad for those other trainers now... Not many people believe in them..
Lapis: The comments are saying otherwise, with most of them saying that it will be a close battle. I'd scroll, but the mods aren't able to catch up on everything just yet.
Ralphi: What does that mean? Are they being bullies?!
Arthur: *Scrolls on his phone and sees some disturbing fanart of him and Bil* Let's go with that, yes.... They're saying REALLY bad words, so don't check it yourself, Ralphi.
Ralphi: *nods* Okay.

After dinner, the group then return to their respective hotel rooms. Ralphi once again hugs softy as she lays down. Arthur gets some trouble sleeping at first, however...

Arthur: (It really is going to come down to me and Ralphi, huh... I need to figure out a plan to throw the match without it looking too obvious... )

The next day, the Semi-finals begin and Ralphi faces off against Bil. Ralphi's team held on pretty well against his team, mostly consisting of Bug-type pokemon. There was one moment however...

*He uses a G-max Orbeetle that is hovering above Softy menacingly*
Ralphi: *First time seeing it* Aliens!!!
Softy: Baaahh!! *rolls into a ball and rolls away, dodging the attacks the best she can*


...but she pulled through and won the battle.

*Ralphi enters the locker room and notices Arthur is in deep thought and doesn't notice anything around him*
Ralphi: *smirks* (Hmm... I'm going to sneak up and give him a big hug!)
*Ralphi gets lower to the ground and approaches slowly, listening in carefully*
Arthur: ,,,,No, She'd definitely notice if I throw in Striker against Sips..... *Ralphi stops a moment* ...maybe if I play it off like I didn't see it coming... hmm....
Ralphi: (Play it off... What is he? ) *Remembers what Prang said about him needing training after the GT, and slowly pieces it together*
Arthur: ..... Maybe Mothra would be better since Sips knows Ice bea-
Ralphi: YOU BETTER NOT, ARTHUR!
Arthur: Agh! Ralphi! What are you-
Ralphi: You're planning on throwing the match, aren't you?!
Arthur: *He stmbles his words, knowing he got caught, but sighs a moment* I'm sorry, Ralphi, but yeah... I can't be a champion of an entire region when I'm also needed to lead our people...
*Ralphi jumps up and bops his head*
Ralphi: No! Bad Arthur!
Arthur: Ack! *Holds where she bopped* Ralphi, look. I know it's upsetting, but I need to-
Ralphi: *pouting* But nothing! You're going to go all out in that battle!
Arthur: *getting stern* Ralphi! There are things more important than a match!
Ralphi: *pouting even harder* Do you really think that's it?!
Arthur: W..what?!
Ralphi: The Grand tournament isn't just some "match". The entire region watches and cheering us on as we give everything for them! *Thinks about Marnie* Our hearts, *Allister and Bea* our souls, *Bede* our believes... everything! After all we've been through, You're going to just throw it all away!! True friends don't hold back against each other! and if you lose without giving it your all... I.. I'll never want to see you again!! *Arthur grabs his chest from this shocking sentence* I'd rather see you retire from being a champion for a day than me facing dad knowing I didn't earn it! *begins to cry* ...So you better not... *sniffs* Throw the match.... do you hear me?,,,

Arthur: *Seeing how important this is to her, as well as now considering the entire region now, takes a deep breath and hugs her, wrapping his arm in a way to pat her head* ... You're right, Ralphi... I'm sorry... I promise I'll give it my all...
Ralphi: For real?
Arthur: for real...

After a bit, Arthur was called for his match against Ted, and Ralphi watched his match intensely, trying to see if he attempts to pull a sneaky move and lose here instead...

Galarian story : A man to man talk.

Arthur got through his match with little struggle save Striker having to fight off the affects of Attract used on him by a rather alluring Gardevoir before KOing it with shadow ball. To Most watching nothing seemed amiss but to a few who know Arthur best it was clear Arthur was fighting distraction and a clouded mind through out the match.

Lapis: ...something is not right with Arthur...

Ava: You saw it too?

Lapis: yes I have watched him battle enough and grown to know him well enough to judge his moods and mind, something has cost him his usual focus.

Shira   on speaker phone from home where she is recuperating ) I think ye right lass, he was nae as sharp as he was again Marnie. Could not say what the matter be though.

Lapis: I am going to go talk to him.

Prang: - Was silent and thinking through the exchange of words - No I'll go, what Arthur needs is a man to man talk and as i am close as he has to a father it's down to me.

Ava: Prang is right. believe me Lapis I was to go to Arthur as well but i think Prang is just what Arthur needs right now.

Lapis" alright, i'll get to see him after the matches, There is usually an extended break before the match with the champion.

Prang agreed and headed down to the locker room after securing permission from Rose.

Arthur: - sitting on a bench by himself not even trying to mentally prepare himself. - Dumb Dumb Dumb ...what was i thinking....

Prang: - walks in and over to his nephew - Arthur, I could tell something was off by just watching your last match and now i can see something is bothering you greatly , Do you want to talk about it?

Arthur: - looks at his uncle and nods knowing his uncle always with out fail had given him solid good advice. - It's like this Uncle Prang -explains about his bone headed idea to throw the finals as he could not be champion for more than a hour or two before leaving for Fauna - Ralphi caught me plotting and literally knocked some sense into me, not with Gomez strength thankfully or else they would be scraping me off the floor still. I feel so horrible i even considered it my focus has gone to hel...heck.

Prang: - Nods as he now fully understands, is somewhat displeased - I am glad Ralphi knocked some sense into you and seeing as I don't think you fully realize how big of a mistake you nearly made maybe she should have given you a harder knock.

Arthur: Bigger mistake? - is suddenly struck by what his Uncle means and holds his head in his hands - Everyone in Fauna is watching including the elders of the great houses and has been since this started no doubt , so it would have been pretty obvious i was throwing it. Ugh and I here I was mad that my stupidity would probably have gotten me and Ralphi disqualified as they might think we planned it together as we are such great friends, when i was would have really screwed things up royally for myself. Ralphi really should have hit me harder cause I deserve it.

Prang: Precisely, It would have cost you a huge amount of respect, so much so you may never have been able to earn it back. Now if you lose against Ralphi in a clean fair battle in which you gave your all then they likely would respect you for battling gallantly in a loss. Throwing the match especially if it caused you and Ralphi to be disqualified would do irreparable harm top their opinion of you and likely end your friendship with Ralphi. -hugs his nephew despite Arthur being nearly a head taller than him - I am a bit disappointed you even considered such a thing but pleased you realized the folly of what you nearly did, I want you to thank Ralphi for stopping you from making a huge mistake, before the match if you can if not then afterwards. This will stay between us, i see no need to pass it around if anyone asks you just got distracted by thoughts of what awaits you in Fauna. That said if you want me to tell your mum or anyone else the truth i shall.

Arthur: I'll tell Mum and Lapis later otherwise Mum is likely to storm down here to give me a piece of her mind and i need what little time I have left to get my head on straight or ralphi will likely crush me with out me trying to throw the match.

Prang: Your Mum probably would at that - chuckles - fight hard, be true to your pokemon and leave it all on the field and have no regrets . Ralphi I am certain will do the same. - Pats his nephew on the shoulder - Your Father would be very proud at how mature you have become.

Arthur nodded and smiling and began planning his battle against Ralphi now that his mind was clear of self anguish and he could properly focus.

In Fauna

Large groups of beastial folk are gathered around TVs either at homes or in more public settings to watch the match and waiting with baited breath for the finals.

In a Large Manor house in Arkla a silver haired cat beastial sits watching the matches on a large tv.

Esme: So its Young Arthur against Ralphi in the final. It should prove most interesting.

Barker: ( wolf beastial butler ) yes milady, from what i have gathered the two are close friends, trained together through their challenges.

Esme: Well the girl seems to have turned out well despite being raised by HER! - refuses to utter Shira's name if she can avoid doing so - if i could get her and move her away from ..shall we say bad influences we might make something of the child.

Barker: I would think her grandmother would react rather violently to any attempt to take the girl.

Esme: That is beyond doubt but i would not be so stupid or crass to attempt to take her by force. I may be a Gomez but even i admit i am not exactly in my prime any longer. I would choose subtler methods. But enough about that, have you learned anything more about the girl Arthur has been seen being affectionate with?

Esme: - takes the photo and looks it over- Blue hair and goat horns..... definitely galedeep eyes though... could she be....no he had no children that are known of..would not matter if she was any way. Pointless if my dear great granddaughter Cattia can charm Arthur into her arms. -looks at a photo of a young and beautiful teenage cat beastial with hair that has markings resembling a Bengal cat Bengal Cat Breed Information, Pictures, Behavior and Care. Then this Lapis will be little more than a curiosity.

Barker: Indeed Milady, so long as they have not.... ahem given into their animalistic natures . they are in those years where self control is most difficult after all.

Esme: That is a fair point, though Prang assured me that they had not although they could be keeping it from him , but hopefully he is accurate. -thinking of the annoyance last year when she had to arrange a quick and quiet marriage for Cattia's elder sister Lissa after an affair with the youngest son of house Forgefire resulted in a pregnancy- That said we shall cross that river when we come to it. Are the arrangements for the welcome ceremony and banquet going as planned?

Barker: Yes all is on schedule, no other hiccups other than adding The Ambassador from Ransei to the guest list.

Esme: - nods as she listens to the reviews of Ralphi and arthur's earlier matches as the finals are set up- Good, well I do admire the importance the folk of Ransei put on Honor, I do as well, It took many years to clean up my dear brother's messes. well the ones that aren't his children anyway. well the match is about to begin, watch and give me your thoughts Barker. -has a great trust in the judgement of her long time butler and personal assistant.

Barker: As you wish milady.

Prang has returned to the luxury booth Rose provided and gave the story he and Arthur agreed to as Arthur loosens up and gets his game face on as he knows he cannot pull any punches as Ralphi definitely won't.

Galarian Howl part 26: "The Finals"

Ralphi watched the battle against Ted and did notice that he was distracted in it. Even though she was still upset at him for thinking of throwing the match they'd have, her concern overtook those feelings so she went and met up with Arthur shortly after Prang had his time with him.

Ralphi: *Running over* Arthur!
Arthur: Oh, hey Ralph- *gets a surprise hug* -Eh!
Ralphi: I'm sorry, Arthur.
Arthur: So you noticed as well? *she nods* Well, you don't have anything to be sorry for. In fact, I should be thanking you.
Ralphi: What do you mean?
*Arthur relays what happen with the talk prior*
Arthur: -So we should get some rest for tomorrow's match.
Ralphi: Yeah!

And they proceeded on, waking up the next morning and spending some time apart. The reason being is the thought that they'd accidentally spill the beans of theur respective plans for the battle up ahead.

*The broadcast cuts back to Nikki and Nigel*
Nikki: -And that was an amazing performance of Piers.
Nigel: Indeed it was. But now it's time for the Finals of the Grand Tournament to decide who faces off against the Champion tomorrow. A clash between the beastial buddies, Ralphi and Arthur!
Nikki: Indeed, it is time! I'm sure this will be an amazing match!

*The two trainers make their way to the arena, hearing the chants of the crowd before they meet in the middle*
Arthur: Alright, Ralphi. Just as I promised, I won't hold anything back.
Ralphi: *Smiling behind her mask* Thank you, and I won't either.

*The two of them get into position*

Nigel: And let the final match... BEGIN!!
Arthur: Go, Phalanx! *tosses his Phalanx*
Ralphi: Go, Ax! *Tosses Haxorus*
*Arthur is a bit surprised that she didn't start off with Softy, but quickly focuses again*
Arthur: Use No Retreat! Then follow up with Zen Headbutt!
*As Phalanx is boosting its power, a sudden Earthquake from Ax splits the ground to cause damage, as well as the group apart into two troop of two and three*
*Ax then charges in on the smaller group, using a psycho cut to knock them down as the other set jumps in using Zen headbutt on his backside*
*Ax then proceeds to clash with them using Dual Chop*

Nigel: Simply amazing strategy! A troop of Falinks is strongest with all 5 members present, so splitting them up like that to lessen their attack power has given Ralphi a slightly better edge, considering Haxorus aren't necessarily defensive.
Nikki: Indeed, and with No Retreat used, Arthur can't switch out until Phalanx is defeated

*A Zen Headbutt and Psycho cut clash, with Ax's pushing forward and breaking through with a critical hit, knocking the pokemon out.*

Arthur: *Returning Phalanx to its ball* (Splitting them up.. I wonder if she learned that from Team Stellar's base) Go, Stealth! *tosses his Dragapult*

*Ax goes in for a Duel Chop, but Stealth fades into the shadows using phantom force*
*Ralphi awaits for the moment Stealth re-emerges and readies Ax*
*As Stealth jumps out, Ax uses Brutal Swing to try and stop it, but Stealth powers through it and strikes true*
*Before Ax can recollect what just happened, Stealth follows up with Dragon Darts, knocking Ax down with the second hit*
Ralphi: (Darn.. I thought Ax could've lasted a bit longer) *recalls and tosses Hatsy out*
*Stealth fades out again using Phantom Force*
*Hatsy readies the attack and Stealth emerges and lashes out, only for Hatsy to teleport herself. dodging the attack*
*Stealth is then struck with a moonblast to the back, but hanging onto the battle*
*Stealth decides to fly straight into the air, dodging another moonblast in the procees and aims to use a Steel Wing with a boosted swoop downwards*
*The attack works, hitting Hatsy and flying back up. Unfortunately, not realising the attack Hatsy launch is still following him*
Arthur: Behind you!
*Stealth looks back, seeing a barrage of Hatsy' Magical Leaf attack closing in fast*
*Being unable to shake them off, he aims down to use Phantom force and let the ground take the hit instead, but is instead met with Hatsy's moonblast before fading out, and with both attacks landing, Stealth is down*
Ralphi: Yeah! Go Hatsy!
*Hatsy nods and smiles as Arthur returns Stealth and sends out Paladin, his Corviknight*

*Hatsy proceeds to teleport and dodge most of Paladin's attacks while taking potshots with Moon blast and Magical leaf, despite the attacks not being effective*
*Arthur realizes she's planning something so he orders a swift attack as a distraction*
*It works and Hatsy gets a heavy Steel wing after a failed teleport*
*Hatsy is still hanging in there from sheer determination*
Ralphi: *Recalls hatsy just in case, swapping out with Sharps*
*The battle against these two go on for longer than anticipated with the steel clashing constantly between the two. Over time, Sharpd does enough to take down the vast, predatory bird and readies for the next pokemon*
Arthur: Alright, Striker! It's your turn! Use Shadow ball!
*Striker emerges from his pokeball and launches the attack, forcing Sharps to go on the defensive with King's shield*
*Sharps then swoops over with Aerial Ace, landing the attack, but also leaving him very vulnerable to Striker's Pyro ball, landing a crit in the process*

*Ralphi throws out Silli and it becomes a game of Cat and Mouse (or Rabbit and Snek, in this instance) as the two constantly shift from Dig/Sand tomb and Bounce/shadow ball to get the advantage against each other*
Arthur: (Okay, I think I can keep this up. I think she'll use puppers or Sips next and- ) *At this point he realizes what Ralphi was trying to set up, with the remaining half of his team having common weaknesses to Ice and Electric type attacks*
*He returns Striker upon realization and throws out Mothra*
Arthur: Nice try, Ralphi! But It won't end like that! *Readies to Gigantamax*
Ralphi: Okay, Plan B! *Readies it herself*

The crowd goes crazy as G-max Sandaconda and Butterfree emerge inti the arena.

Arthur: Use Max Overgrowth!
Ralphi: Max Flare!
Arthur: What?!

*Thanks to Silli knowing Fire Fang, The Max Flare blazes through Max Overgrowth, landing a heavy hit on Mothra and knocking it out instantly*
*Arthur begins to sweat, but not just from the intense heat caused by the attack, but realizing just how cornered he is, with Tank's water attacks being lessoned by the heat, and then the typing situation is still at play with Sips and Puppers as well*

Despite all this, Arthur did his best in the battle. He managed to outtime Silli's G-max form and even knocked it out after Striker got back in, but Sips quickly took the win thanks to some of the traps placed earlier...

Nikki: And what an amazing match! Both trainers gave it their all, and now we have a winner! The one facing Leon will be Challenger Ralphi!! Let's give a big applause to these amazing trainers!

*The crowd is as loud as ever, cheering both trainers as they meet in the middle*
Arthur: That was an amazing match, Ralphi! I need to know. Did you have that whole thing planned out?
Ralphi: Yeah! I actually had three plans, and Sips would've been the big player in the third one! I will admit that I was expecting Silli to get hit by Max Overgrowth though.
Arthur: *Chuckles* Well, all I can say is good luck against Leon tomorrow!

Arthur then picks her up and put her on his shoulder as the crowd cheers on!

Galarian story: Aftermath and a new threat.

Arthur carried Ralphi on his shoulders around the stadium for a victory lap and could hear as many cheers for him as there were for Ralphi which brought a tear to his eye as he was so touched he was still loved so much even if defeat , Ralphi quietly wiped the tear away. Meanwhile miles away an ominous cloud begins to slowly spread


Up in the chairman's booth

Rose: Quite a battle.... Looks like father versus daughter for the title. You must be proud Leon.

Oleana: Yes, though it was a hard fought battle -phone rings and she answers it and is soon scowing while arguing with whoever is on the other end of the call. -

Leon: I am more proud of Ralphi than words can say , Arthur too for that matter, i knew no matter which won i'd have the toughest fight i have had in years , no offense to Raihan but i know his style too well by now.

Rose: -nods- No doubt about that my friend. Time to make the announcement as we agreed, if your still on board Hop.

Hop: do it! i am excited to battle Arthur, would have been if it had been Ralphi i got to face as well.

Rose: -gets on the PA system - Congratulations to Ralphi tomorrow you will face Leon for the title! now if Young Arthur is agreeable he will face Hop, the former Champion in an exhibition match before the championship match!

The stadium goes suddenly quiet and all eyes are on Arthur. Ralph leans down and gives him a thumbs up sign then Arthur does the same and the crowd erupts in delight.

Rose: (on the PA) then it is done! tomorrow the exhibition match will take place using the same rules as the champions final.


In the luxury booth :

Lapis: they both fought so hard , it was a shame one had to lose but i suppose if one had to that given the circumstances maybe it was best Arthur lost given he would need to resign as champ anyway.

Ava: True, I am just glad they both are taking this so well.

Shira: - on speakerphone - Bonny good match, both have a right to be proud. - cannot help but contrast it with her own her win which left the stadium heavily damaged - Lapis has the right of it , Arthur has enough on his plate with out having to worry about being champion

Prang: - watches Arthur accept the exhibition match and doesn't blame him as it is a chance to go out with a win - True, I guess i get an extra day to arrange flights then since Arthur will face off against Hop before Ralphi and her father square off. -wonders if they will reveal their relation to one another at that time -

Ava: looks that way. I may leave today and hope Arthur forgives me seeing as trains will be book solid tomorrow, so i can pack the few things he will want with him in Fauna.

Prang: Ava, are you sure you don't want to come as well?

Ava: I am , too many memories and while i miss everyone I need more time, now that i need not worry for arthur anymore i can take the time i need to move on , to let Adam go. To find my center again.

Lapis: - hugs Ava whom she secretly hopes will be her mother in law one day - I'll take care of Arthur for you , take all the time you need....Mum err sorry. -blushes a bit -

Ava: -hugs Lapis- it's okay you can call me Mum , you and arthur are very close now. I am sure you will and i will come home to Fauna in due time.

Prang: - nods knowing his wife Melody will understand. - Your sister might come visit you then, you could show her the sights.

Ava: I'd love that and i totally would. - misses Melody greatly -

Meanwhile Arthur and Ralphi have finally exited the field and are both interviewed multiple times before finally getting a chance to get to the locker rooms to shower and change soon after they are met by the others as leon and Hop joined up with Prang and company and lapis dashed forward and glomped and kissed Arthur as Leon hugged Ralphi. The group headed out and went out for a huge dinner as Leon had made the reservation ahead of time. Part way through the dinner people started running out and started look up at the sky.

Arthur: what the heck is going on out there?

Ralphi: -perks up her sensitive ears- i think it's something about the sky?

Prang: -walks to the window and looks- The hell..... those clouds are not normal.....

Suddenly Leon's phone rings and he answers and his eyes go wide and he says he is on his way.

Leon: there is a bad problem with the powerplant in Hammerlocke, the rest of you should go back to Postwick for now, you get go quick or else the trains will be full. Hop your with me.

Hop: okay Bro.

Ralphi: -looks at Arthur who nods - me and Arthur can help too!

Leon: sorry Kiddo not this time, get back to your gran if we need extra help i'll be in touch. - throws money on the table and races out with Hop-

Just then then is a tremendous crack of thunder

*White is standing outside the house, looking at the direction of Hammerlocke*
*Shira walks up behind her*
Shira: Ay.. ya feelin' t aswell?
White: Yup.. Something's brewing that way....
Shira: *looking as the dark clouds in the sky above Hammerlocke is expanding outwards* (It couldn't be.....the ol' legends? )

*Meanwhile, in Alola*
*Everyone has left the base after the airing ended, bar a sleeping Kasantra*
FG Chad: *senses* ...I think I sense something
Jeanna: *picking up some garbage with some Aether employees* Is it a sense of cleanliness?
FG Chad: No... I feel an evil presence emerging.... I believe... in... Galar? I should go with PrfctCellEX and assist in the matter.
Jeanna: Okay, you got to realize You can't go to Galar with Nebby since Zygarde is an illigal pokemon, righT?
FG Chad: *Looks at her*
Jeanna:... True, you can't really arrest a ghost.. but How'd you get the pokeball there? I dont think he can fly that far..
*He looks at Kasantra*

Ralphi tries to follow her father and uncle to try and help, Arthur trying to hold her back. It wasn't until the League Security came over to urge them to their designated Corviknight Taxi...

*Arthur, Ralphi and Lapis end up sharing a taxi*
*Lapis looks out to the other CT, noticing that it's mostly grouped by trainers and hometowns as it takes off*
Lapis: So weird... Whatever is going on, it has to be big...
Ralphi: It has to be! And I wanna help!
Arthur: I know, but we should do what we were told for now... *knowing how she is, She'll try and help either way*

*Sometime goes by approaching Hammerlocke, and Lapis' phone begins to get notifications*
Lapis: *reads* Oh crap... This can't be right..
Arthur: What is it?
Lapis: Wild Dynamax pokemon sightings... so many... there's two at Stow-on-side, three at Circhester and 5 near Hammerlocke!
Arthur: What?! *They both look out the window and they can see two of them clashing just outside the walls, with Raihan combatting both*
*They also see the evacuation orders taking effect, with the crowds being directed out of Hammerlocke*
Ralphi: This has to be those Team Steller guys' fault, right? I mean, what else could-
*As she says that, they hear a draconic roar, partially muffled but still incredible loud*
*They both look outside, and see two more wild pokemon, an Unfezant and Vespiquen, Dynamax out of nowhere and begin to attack the area around them*

Taxi flyer: Okay, This is getting too dangerous! I'm gonna have Corviknight here go faster, so buckle up!

The CT picks up speed, the group looks around to see what made that roar, but all too soon, they see it...

*The side of the power plant explodes in a pink and purple fury*
*A long, skeletal dragon cloaked in dynamax energy erupts from below the ground, circling around the Stadium's tower as it rises*
Lapis: O.O WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!
*It reaches the top, positions itself and lets out another giant roar, emitting even more energy and causing the stormcloud to expand much farther*
*A fire blast strikes it from below, blasted from Leon riding his Charizard and followed by Hop on his Corveknight*
*The group can only watch on in the distance as the CT flies away appraching Motorstoke and beyond to Postwick*
*Arthur and Ralphi both look at each other, knowing they want to help, but at a loss of exactly how....*

*Wedgehurst*
*Both Shira and White hear the roar, with fear and a smirk on their faces respectively*
Shira: .... The darkest day... Eternatus... It's real?!
White: Eternatus? Talk about an edgy name. I don't even need to use rage mode to take it down. I got this.
Shira: Nay, hol- *White vanishes to take it on* Ayy!!! Ya dum ****!! Ya don understand wat it can do!!
Sonia: *Running up* Hey!! Shira! I'm sorry to interrupt but we need help! *points at a Dynamaxed Drednaw approaching*

As the groups' CT lands, they see Shira's Alolan Exeggutor bash the Drednaw to its back, Without hesitation, Ralphi runs over to see whats happening, with the others following.

Sonia: Thank you, but I don't know how much longer we have until another shows up.. The entire region is acting as a giant Power Spot and there's no telling what could dynamax next...
Ralphi: *runs over* Gramma! Are you okay?!
Shira: Ey! Fer now, at least... The Darkest Day will definitely be a test...
Sonia/Ralphi/Lapis/Arthur: THE DARKEST DAY?!
Shira: *nods* An' That'll be Eternatus up there..
Ralphi: It can't be! According to legends, Eternatus was slain by the two kings!
Sonia: *thinking* No... my research showed they weren't actual just kings, but a pair of Pokemon that chose to team up with the kings...
Arthur: Okay, that's some info, but how do we take it down?!
Shira: We can't. Eternatus'll just drain all de poweh around it, and the only ones immune are the Guardians, so In de meantime we must- *continues on*
*Inside Ralphi's head, gears begin to role. she begins to connect the dots*
Ralphi: They chose us...Arthur, It's us!! *Eh?* The wolves we saw in the Slumbering Wield, I think they're the King pokemon Sonia was studying, as well as the ones that saved Gramma before! I think they're the same, and they chose us to help them!!
*Lapis looks confused, while Sonia, Shira and Arthur connect them as well *
Arthur: I... I think you're right...
Sonia: Perhaps.. but what happened to their weapons? From what I learn, they were essential in Eternatus' defeat... And where would the wolves be anyway??
Shira: I know where they are... *What?* Back in the dae, I went research'n meself. Found sum olde' shrine deep within... Ralphi, do ya remember the path ta Betsy's favorite berry tree? *she nods* Keep headin' that direction, then follow the river upstream... Ya can't miss it.. *gives a quick hug* Just be careful....
Ralphi: *Hugs back* I will, Gramma.. Come on, Arthur! We have to find them!
Arthur: Right, Lapis, Stay here with Shira. You'll be safe. *they give each other a quick kiss* I'll be back...

*Ralphi and Arthur then run towards the Slumbering Wield*
Sonia: Hey! I'm coming too! This could be the breakthrough I needed!!! *runs after them*

*Lapis and Shira then hear another pokemon Dynamax*
*They turn to see Betsy growing in massive size*
*Betsy looks down, looks angry and steps on the metal fence*
Shira: Ay, sunnuvabi-

*Meanwhile, in Hammerlocke*
*Corviknight strikes a quick Steel Wing and Charizard blasts a Dragon breath at Eternatus*
* In the midst of this, White rockets forward and lands a heavy uppercut and follows up with a big blast of fire, sending it a good distance away*
White: *Heavy breathing* Okay, this thing is getting stronger.. So I'll do the same!! Haaa!!
*The three of them fight on, unaware of how Eternatus' gaining power*

Galarian story : darkest day, through the forest and to destiny!

As the battle against Eternatus continued Ralphi and Arthur raced into the Slumbering Weald with Sonia hot on their heals and made quick progress and once they passed the berry tree they began seeing wolf like flashes of blue and red appear for a moment and vanish just as quickly as they indicated the correct paths to take soon they are deeper into the foresT than even Sonia had ever ventured.

Arthur: I doubt anyone but Shira has been this deep in here in ages.

Sonia: your likely correct, i know i haven't nor has my gran , though maybe Leon has, with his crap sense of direction and all.

Ralphi: - would giggle about her dad's "talent" for getting off course if the situation wasn't so serious - There are kinds of Pokemon here i'd not thought lived so close to Postwick... - watches several Orbeetles and a Galarian Weezing float by -

Arthur: I had no idea either but i suppose since almost no one ever comes here this place is a like a sanctuary for them, maybe they come to raise their young?

Sonia: I had no clue either, i'd best mention it to Gran and she will want to take a look see. Arthur is likely right a place with no trainer traffic would be an ideal nesting ground.

They continued on going deeper and deeper into the wood and soon they came upon an aged altar with a heavily damaged sword and and equally damaged shield and beside them a note book that was far newer though it showed some damage from the elements. Ralphi quickly snmtached it up and flipped through it.

Ralphi: It's gran's there is nothing to advise us which we itemwe each should take though - pockets and looks at Sonia - if Gran says its okay i'll give it to you later.

Sonia: thats fine - desperately wants a look through Shira's notes but knows this is not the time or place so she looks over the altar- nothing here to help decide who gets but what but what i can make out confirms our line of reasoning. Two trainers and two pokemon who are the sword and shield.

Arthur had remained silent thinking and considering when he heard a strong male voice in his mind " Remember my recorded words to you, remember what i said a chief is supposed to be.." Arthur's eyes lit up and picked up the shield, Ralphi following Arthur's lead took up the sword.

Sonia: Arthur what made you decide to take the shield?

Arthur: This may sound odd but a voice spoke to my in my thoughts, i think it may have been my father's and it reminded me of a video my dad recorded after my mum ... learned she was with child...carrying me, mum said he did it as a precaution in case something happened to him. anyways in it dad said the Chief must be the shield of his people, and the voice spoke of that so i decided i must be meant to have the shield.

Ralphi: That makes sense...gran told me that beastial chieftans were the protectors of the tribes. So i guess the sword is for me than... it feels right though I am not sure why -carrying it strapped to her back like she used to carry Sharps before he evolved. -

Sonia: - considers - works for me, i have not found anything in my research about how the holder of sword or shield is chosen so maybe .... it only happens when a crisis arises that the guardians are needed to deal with?

Arthur: possible for now lets move -the group dash back through the forest some how unerringly finding their way back out. -

Faraday: YOu are the best team Stellar has to offer, your mission , your only mission is to capture Eternatus and return with it to me, do you understand?

Elite Agents: Sir yes sir!

Faraday: Gadgetz is it ready?

Gadgetz: Aye it is -holds up a specially modified master ball as it was agreed that there a slight chance the standard one may have failed to capture Eternatus so this one was boosted to reduce the risk. - if this beauty cannane catch that beastie than nothing will. -hands it to the team leader- Only use it on the main target as it was a bloody pain in the Arse to get one master ball to say nothing of the modifications.

Faraday: Bring me Eternatus at all costs go, lest the guardians come. - really wishes they plan to capture Arthur and ralphi had not failed as he strong suspicions about them.-

Elite Agents: Sir! -heads out double time-


in Wedgehurst

Arthur : -comes out of the station- It's no good all trains have been stopped due to...well the bloody obvious.

Ralphi: same with the Corvisknight taxis, all grounded and not even Olena can get us one.

Arthur: No choice but to leg it quick then .

Ralphi: lets go!

The pair take off at a brisk trot up a long and winding path that sonia showed them that would lead to the wild area which from there they could get to Hammerlocke.

At Ava's house onthe phone.

Prang: - Tells Esme about the current situation - due to all that all flights and ships out of the region are shutdown as are the airports and harbors until it has been resolved. Nothing i can do . I'll get Arthur on a flight as soon as it is practical.

Esme: -not pleased as this will lead to substantial hassle but it is clear it cannot be avoided - Understandable and yes, do that and Keep Arthur far from the trouble as you can, His training is far from complete and we do not want his chieftain's power killing him if we lose Arthur and he has no heir the tribes will be in crisis, Anders has already made it clear that in no circumstances will he become chief and as he has only daughters...

Prang: I am well aware of what would happen, i will do allin my power to keep Arthur safe, you handle things on your end.

Esme: Very well i shall trust you seeing as there is little choice in the matter, i will make the arrangements to put the festivities on hold until further notice. at least new reports of the events in Galar are all over the news so i'll not need any explanations.

Prang: -sighs although he knew it almost certainly was international news- I will not disappoint Esme and thanks for your support. -hangs up-

Ava: you know where Arthur has gone right?

Prang: yes but i wasn't about to tell Esme, last thing i need is her going berserk and trying to fly in to personally extract Arthur. I have a feeling Arthur is meant to help stop Eternatus . Since the day i brought you were I had this feeling your child was meant to be here but not why., perhaps this is why....

Hammerlocke:

-after a series of long runs and short unauthorized flights on their pokemon Arthur and Ralphi reach the tower and start up it and soon on the third floor they encounter the elite agents-

Arthur: they work for those guys who tried to capture us.... - snorts angerilly -

Ralphi: yeah they do -suddenly her eyes go wide - They are after Eternatus! we have to stop them!

Arthur: lets do it !

Arthur and ralphi charge and throw out pokemon and the agents respond in kind.

Galarian Howl part 28.0: "Dire situations"

Ralphi and Arthur waste no time to challenge the Stellar Elite, knowing they can't be allowed to catch Eternatus at all costs.

SE1: Damn, wasn't expecting interference so soon! You two keep them busy! I'll continue the mission!
SE1/2: Sir!
SE2: Go, Decidueye!
SE3: Incineroar, go!


The pokemon they've thrown out clearly had modifications done to them. Decidueye's feathers looks like they've been replaced by Skarmory feathers and the Incineroar has sharp bladed armor going across its body like a Bisharp.

Arthur: Go, Striker!
Ralphi: Sips, you got this!
*They both throw out their pokemon*
*Sips quickly fires an ice beam to freeze the hallway where the Elite was heading, but an arrow strikes the beam and stops it, allowing him to exit the floor*
Ralphi: Darn!
Arthur: Don't worry, we'll catch up shortly. Let's just focus on the battle for now.

As the two sides clash within the third floor, high in the tower, Hop Leon and White continue their assault on Eternatus. With Leon relying on Charizard (his ride) and Dragapult, and Hop with Corveknight (ride) and Pincurchin (Being held by Hop)

*Eternatus lashes forward with a cross poison, striking White away for long enough to use Dragon pulse on the others*
Leon: Flamethrower!
Hop: Scald!
*The attacks clash, but Eternatus clearly has the edge*
*Dragapult Hovers around Eternatus and blasts away with Dragon Darts, causing the foe to lose focus on the clash for a moment*
White: JUST DIE ALREADY!! *Launches a massive fireball at Eternatus with a massive explosion*

*Hop and Leon look on with anticipation to see how it reacts*
*White takes several deep breaths and expects to see Eternatus fall down*
....
*An orange glow emerges from the dustcloud*
Leon: MOVE!
*Both trainers fly off just in time to dodge a massive flamethrower coming right at them and Eternatus roars as it goes to chase Leon and Charizard*
*White makes another roar of anger and axhandles Eternatus over the head, knocking it straight into the tower and continues to follow up her attack*

Hop: How the heck is this thing still going?! And why did it hold off on Flamethrower for so long?!
Leon: I'm not sure on that last part, but I'm certain that we have been doing damage. There's shards of this thing everywhere.
*Watches as every hit White makes causes fracture to its body, but some of the previous wounds have reformed and healed*
Leon: We'll find a weakness out. Just keep attacking!
*The pair swoop back down for another assault when White gets some distance*
White: Hey! You, two! Distract it for me! I'm going to end this! *She stretches her arms out and begins charging her attack*


*Down below*
*Striker kicks down a modified Magnezone while Sips freezes their Drampa solid*
SE2: Damn, we're out! Quick! the Device!
*The two Elites quickly rush to the opposite sides on the room*
*The one on the left side quickly places a device down to the wall before Arthur rushes over knocks him out with a solid punch to the face, thinking its a bomb of sorts*
*The other one wasn't fast enough, allowing Ralphi to headbutt tackle him and flinging the device into the air, and Sips freezing it to the ceiling at the highest point*
*The devices activate and the group brace themselves for anything... except what actually happened*
*They open their eyes and see that a light barrier was formed between and above the devices current location, so the barrier failed to cover the lower 45 degrees thanks to Sips' attack*

Arthur: Okay... That would been annoying. *Waves Striker to go under the barrier* We have to hurry.
Ralphi: Right!
*The pair rush off as fast as they can to help fight Eternatus*


*Back above, Hop and Leon swerve and distract Eterantus as planned, while taking whatever potshots they can as well*
*Eternatus manages to hit Hop's Corveknight with a Flamethrower, causing the trainer to land back down*
*As Leon was expecting another attack, Eternatus stops for a moment, and turns to look at White*
*Leon notices this, as well as another fact as it was turning. In this this brief moment, he noticed some of the heatwaves and bolts of energy White was exuding from charging were leading straight into Eternatus' chest cavity*
Leon: *Pieces it together* Wait... its absorbing the attacks.. healing and getting stronger... WAIT!! DON'T DO IT!!!
White: *Not hearing him in her anger, her power is fading in and out* OBLIVION BLAST!!!!
*She unleashes a mighty wave of fire and energy at Eternatus, with it making a mighty roar as the power blasts through*
*As about a thrid of the attack washes by, Eternatus fully focuses on absorbing this great deal of energy. By the time the attack finishes, Eternatus is fully healed, with its core sparking like mad*
White: *gasping for air as she fades from Rage mode* W..What? Did it just... Did I....
*Eternatus begins to glow in the same manner of the Oblivion Blast and lowers its head slightly*
White: ..just... doom Galar?..
*Eternatus lets out its own blast, fueled with Dynamax energy it has collected at her*
*The blast strikes White, with the attacking launching far into the distance and colliding with the nearby mountain, destroying a portion of it in the explosion*
*Eternatus roars out into the sky once again, in a way to claiming victory*

*Just then, Leon sees a small object thrown at Eternatus by someone below*
Leon: What the?!
SE1: Ha!! Welcome to Team Stellar, Eternatus!
*The master ball opens up and tries to contain Eternatus*
*After a few seconds, Eternatus goes into the ball and lands on the tower*
SE1: *Activats comm* Boss! It's in the master ball! *one shake*
Faraday: Excellent! *two shake*
*Fractures begin to form on the ball with how much energy Eternatus has gathered*
SE1: Wait, hold on! *The masterball shatters appart, being unable to withstand the energy output Eternatus currently holds* It broke free! IT BROKE OUT OF THE-
*On Faraday's end, the comms fade*
Faraday: What?! That shouldn't be possible!

After what felt like forever, Arthur and Ralphi reach the top of the tower, seeing Hop tend to his Corveknight and Leon tossing every Ultra ball he has at Eternatus himself.

Ralphi: Uncle Hop! Dad! Are you okay?!
Hop: Ralphi? Leon?! I thought you kids were told to head back home! *Leons hears this*
Arthur: We did-
Ralphi: But we couldn't stay! You needed help!
Leon: (Ah... Just like your mother..) *Eternatus breaks out and Leon tosses another*
Ralphi: And in these are the Guardians! They chose us to bring them here to fight Eternatus and-
Hop: Look, you kids REALLY need to go! Even if what you're saying is true, it's too dangerous!
*Eternatus breaks out of another one*
*Leon reaches in his bag and he realizes he's out*
Leon: Oh no...
*Eternatus lets out yet another massive roar*
*Suddenly, All the pokemon and Trainers gasp in pain as Eternatus forcefully drains them*
*While Hop and Leon can still stand, both Arthur and Ralphi take a knee from being drained*
Leon: Ralphi! *He rushes over and sees that both her anf Arthur's O-powers are glowing, but the energy is fading and visibly being drained by Eternatus*

*Eternatus makes one last roar, flies straight up onto the sky, and then...*
*Eternatus Gigantamax's in front of them, Increasing its size. Dwarving the city entirely, its shape turning into the very clouds above them, with its hand-like head looking down at its targets*

Galarian Howl part 28.5: "The Wolves"


*Eternatus lets out another roar, attempting to drain more power from the trainers, getting ever so closer with its massive head*
*This time, its enough to bring Leon and Hop to their knees, while both Ralphi and Arthur are nearly grounded*
*Ralphi looks over to see both of them in pain, and this grants her enough determination to stand once more*
Ralphi: You.... big... jerk! *She pulls out the rusty sword* Stop hurting my family!! *She begins running towards Eternatus*
Arthur: Ralphi, no!! *He pulls out the shield and rushes to protect her*
*Eternatus sees them running forward and simply pulls up into the air, and shortly after, unleashes a Max Wyrmwind at them*
*Arthur grabs Ralphi in an attempt to protect her, holding the shield up as well*
Leon: *Seeing a massive flash of light where they stand* No!!
*The light begins to fade, Arthur and Ralphi are unharmed but confused*
*Then, they hear pair of howls in front of them and they see the form of the wolves, looking at Eternatus*
*The wolves howl once again, and the weapons the trainers were holding form into light particles that head straight towards the wolves, and in a moment of pure magic, both wolves are Armored up and weaponized, making one last war cry as they unleash a pulse of energy around them*
*Eternatus roars back, remembering the last time they faced*
*The Sworded Wolf rushes forward first, looking like its running up a rainbow path in the air, with the Shielded Wolf following as well*

Ralphi: *Ralphi's eyes were sparkling in amazement, but then realizes she feels normal again* Huh? Arthur! The air!
Arthur: I know, Ralphi. It feels like back in the Slumbering Weild. *They sees Striker and Sips are back on their feet, but not Leon and Hop* But enough of that. They chose us for a reason!
Ralphi: Yeah! Lets do this!! *Pulls out their Pokemon*
*Ralphi jumps on Ru with Sips and Hatsy flying at their side*
*Arthur does the same with Paladin, Striker and Stealth, respectively*
Ralphi: I think we should all take different sides so it can't take us all on at once!
Arthur: Good idea! I'll take the northern section!
Ralphi: I got south! *their corveknight fly off in separate directions*


*Eternatus tries to swat The Sworded Wolf away, but is blocked by the Shielded Wolf*
*As the Sworded one lands a heavy strike on the neck/arm area, Eternatus is bombarded by Dragon darts and Moon blasts from separate directions*
*It decides to take focus away and target Arthur with a Max Flare*
*Paladin manages to swerve out of the way thanks to the Shielded one blocking most of the attack. Striker launches a shadow ball back at it, With Paladin using Dragon darts to lead it faster to its foe*
*This combined attack does affect Eternatus but not enough to hinder it*
*That's when Several ice beams strike another section of Eternatus and he shifts focus again, and tries to bash Ralphi out of the sky with a tendril*
*Before it can reach, the Sworded one slices it off, allowing Hatsy and Sips to combine an attack of an Icy Moon Blast*

*The back and forth goes one for quite some time, with the team surprisingly overwhelming Eternatus*
*From below, Leon and Hop finally feel the effects of Eternatus' draining wear off, but not enough to help out*
Leon: Hop, do you see that?
Hop: Yeah.. How are the wolves running in the air?
Leon: Not that, the attacks. *He points out how some of Eternatus' body isn't regenerating* I don't think it can drain their power..
Hop: Huh... I guess Ralphi was right...
Leon: *Yells* HEY!! YOU GUYS CAN DO IT!!!

*Eternatus, in its frustration, lets out another roar and begins glowing yet again*
*This time, blasting out massive beams out across its entire body, trying to strike down its multiple foes*
*The groups manage to dodge a vast majority of the attack*
*Unfortunately, one manages to strike Ru, hurting the Corveknight and forcing a landing, Arthur begins to follow as he sees her goes down in concern*
*Ralphi returns Ru to her ball when Eternatus takes this to its advantage and goes to crush her*
*Before it can, the Shielded one begins to glow in a magenta-colored aura, its armor closes up and rushing down in an amazing speed, pinning Eternatus down into the ground in a shining fashion*
*The Sworded one lands in front of Ralphi, lets out a roar and charges its blade with a cyan-colored energy, flies up the long neck of Eternatus in mere moments*
*After it lands, in an almost anime fashion, Slices can be sees in the air going all across where it flew, then they cuts down and explode, damaging Eternatus massively*
*After this attack, Ralphi and Arthur notices that the core suddenly expelled a burst of power much like a Dynamax pokemon does before fainting, then the thought of the Wild Dynamax pokemon they caught in raid battles pops into her head*
Arthur: *knowing he can't throw as far as her* Ralphi! Catch it!!
Ralphi: Alright! *She pulls out an Ultra ball, and fills it with Dynamax Energy, increasing it in size* (Just like I practiced. deep breath, take aim AND THROW!!) *Ralphi tosses the Dynamaxed ball with all her might at the core, soaring into the sky in incredible speeds*
*The ball opens up, and begins to contain Eternatus and in a few moments, if fully goes into the ball and lands on the ground*
*Arthur lands at Ralphi's side and they both watch, holding their breath through tension*
....
*One shake*
....
*Two shakes*
....
*Three shakes*
....
*The ball shrinks down to regular sizes and clicks*
*Ralphi begins to chuckle and laugh out loud in relief, falling back with Arthur catching her*
Arthur: You did it!
Ralphi: No! WE did it! We stopped the Darkest day!!
*The both look up into the sky, watching as they skies returned to a beautiful colors of sunset *
*Both Hop and Leon rush over, with Leon's soul focus on grabbing Ralphi and holding her as hard as he can!*
Leon: I was so scared for a while there... Thank Arceus those wolves were real.... *He leans back and wipes a tear from his eye* Next time, please give me a heads up if you're about to join in something like that again...
Ralphi: Don't worry, dad... I will.. *Hug back*
Hop: *Pats Arthur's back* You did an amazing job back there, too kid. Heh.. Sorry about misjudging you the first time we met..
Arthur: It's all good..
Ralphi: Oh! I need to grab the pokeball!
*As Ralphi gets up to head over, the Stellar Elite leader rushes out and scoops it in a mad dash*
All: HEY!!
SE1: *As he's running* Ha!! Now to head to teleport back to base!! *As he pulls out the teleporter, he runs into something and drops the teleporter*
*The shielded looms over him while the sworded wolf stabs the device and destroys it, then apporaches SE1*
*As it readies to cut down the interloper, Ralphi yells out*
Ralphi: Hey! Don't kill him!! *uns up an kneels down towards the Elite* Gimme my ball back... *He doesn't reply, which causes Ralphi to pout*
*Arthur steps on his other hand, causing the elite to yell out and drops the ball, literally*
*Ralphi takes the ball back and sticks her tongue out at him, then stands to look at the two wolves, who've reverted to there unarmored states and dropped the rusty weapons*
Ralphi: Thank you for helping...
*The wolves nod, they face west, and rush back towards the Slumbering Weild*


Somewhere to the East of Hammerlocke, stands a frozen Dynamaxed perrserker and three human silhouettes standing below. While their facial features and details can't be seen, the two taller figures seem to have distinct hair styles. One is more upright with one curve on each side the other being more rounded with three curves rising on each side. with the third man's only noticeable feature being completely covered in a cloak

Tall hair: Hmm, yes. It is exactly as you claimed, Grandfather.
Round hair: Indeed it is, my brother. But perhaps there are still some more colossal brutes that need handling?
Third man: That will not be necessary... The few that remain will be dealt with by the spectre and the feline before they leave... And with Eternatus captured by the wolf girl, Galar is safe once again... let us return home until we are needed once more....
*The three figures then walk away from the frozen pokemon*

*Wedgehurst, a few hours after this part*
Shira: Ay! Arncha gad ya lissen'ta meh? Focus'n on deh beg fookehs?
FG Chad: Honestly, yeah... It went pretty well, too. Except for one part...
Kasantra: *Dynamaxed* WHO'S THE BIG CAT NOW?! *punches a hill*
FG Chad: But luckily there was a ketchup stand nearby.
Kasantra: *Chugging a ketchup bottle, gives a thumbs up*
Shira: Okay, nao ya gottah get goin! I ain't getting in trouble fer 'arbering Illegal mon again!
FG Chad: Alright, alright! Kasantra, return PrfectCell EX to the Aether Foundation before heading back to Ferrum. *fades*
Kasantra: Right! *senses* ...Huh? (Got to check on this) *zaps*

Elsewhere, a massive crater on the side of the mountain, White struggles to get back up, due to her injuries from Eternatus.
*White finally sits up, gasping from the pain*
Kasantra: *zaps in* White? Is that really you?!
White: Ugh! yeah! it is!! *tries to stand*
Kasantra: Hold on, you're hurt pretty bad. Let help out and-
White: I DON'T WANT YOUR HELP!! *Stands, albiet weakly* I just need to get stronger!!
Kasantra: What?! Where's this coming....*thinks a moment* oh...
White: Yeah... Now go back to someplace that isn't here... *begins walking away*
Kasantra: *looks away* You know he did care right?
White: *stops* .....
Kasantra: ....Well... Whenever you feel is right, Willow has a bed for you...
White: ....Whatever... *Vanishes in flames*
Kasantra: *Sighs* ..... *zaps back home*

Galarian story : aftermath and preparations and thoughts of the Future.

The day after the Emergence of Eternatus Rose announce the final two matches would be delayed by a week to allow for things to be put into order in Galar. Over this time Arthur and Ralphi assisted in helping deal with several incidents of pokemon disturbed by recent events and causing issues. meanwhile Rose and Olena worked quickly putting the trains and other transport back into operations, with the trains taking longest as a rampaging dynamax Dreadnaw had caused a mercifully empty train to be derailed.

As the week rolled onward thing began to settle and Arthur and Ralphi sparred to prepare for their upcoming matches. It was after healing there teams after one of the matches that they sat down in Arthur's back yard enjoying some lemonade.

Ralphi: - a hint of sadness to her voice - So Arthur, I guess you will leave after the closing ceremonies? - knows she will miss arthur terribly -

Arthur: yeah, morning after as thats the soonest Uncle prang could secure tickets. I promise to stay in touch as much as i can , not sure how much free time i'll have during my training so I may have to have lapis pass on messages. - Also feeling sad at the idea of having to leave ralphi behind In Galar. -

Lapis: I'll make sure you get them Ralphi. - glad she is going with Arthur but sad that two such great friends are seeming fated to be seperated. -

Ralphi: alight. I promise to stay in touch too and let you know whats going on here in galar!

Arthur: Good i'd like to l know how things are going here.

The group continues to chat as the subject moves to pokemon.

Prang looks out on the group and he can sense much of whats going on between the three young beastials as he dial Esme's number.

Prang: Hello Esme? Yes the crisis is past and i have adjusted flight plans . we will be departing one week from today, the morning after closing ceremonies and Arthur's final match.

Esme: That will do but could you not leave that night? - will brook no more delays as she is anxious to put her plans into action -

Prang: No, the airlines and airports do not open for international flights until then, booked on the first available flight to Orre.

Esme: Fine then, that will have to do , I highly recommend you put up a back up plan in place incases something else happens.

Prang: already done, I have a conditional contract with a charter company to fly us out if need be.

Esme: Excellent. I shall begin things on my end as it will take time to reset for the welcoming festivities.

Prang: that's will be fine. I'll contact you again, either just before we board the plane or in the event another change is needed. which i am confident it will not.

Esme: So be it and i should hope not. can't imagine there is anythi9ngt left inGalar that could go wrong at this point. goiod bye. -hangs up-

Prang: oi hate dealing with that woman.

Ava: - packing the few things Arthur will need along with gifts for her sister and Her niece and nephew.- Esme? Can't blame you, met her once with with Adam, just after we announced our engagement. it was clear she was disappointed Adam chose me and not one of her house. I have no doubt she will want to get her claws into Arthur.

Prang: Yes, I am positive she does and likely already selected one of her younger family members to try to catch his eye, won't work. It is clear Arthur's heart belongs to Lapis.

Ava; I agree. Not that that will stop Esme from trying and plotting to break them up. I'd not put almost anything past that woman and would not trust her at all. Shira's assessment of her aunt is accurate in my opinion.

Prang: I am inclined to agree. well lets get those three in gear the people of Postwick and Wedgehurst are celebrating them tonight.

Ava: Indeed.

Not long after the trio was shooed off to go get ready for the party, which was a great experience for all. Both Ralphi and Arthur were honored with Medals bestowed by Leon and Hop both recovered from the slight injuries they had sustained against Eternatus.

Far distant:

Faraday: why did the masterball fail?

Gadgetz: it's hard to be certain as the beasties damaged it severely upon breaking out and the clods sent to retrieve it were none to gentle with it but best guess is some how Etenatus drained the power from the thing, we knew it had such capabilities but did nae think it could affect a pokeball of any kind.

Faraday: .... that seems plausible, it is a shame we need to lay low for now with that ghost and its pokemon hunting us. otherwise I would plan an operation to0 capture subject R and Eternatus, thought it may be best to wait for such an operation until after Subject A has left Galar.

Gadgetz: aye less interference, though the lass is a formidable trainer herself and i would nae be surprised if she becomes the new champ. That said i'd recommend we stay out o sight until that Zeraora is out of the region as we stick one toe out and she is likely to sense it. I doubt the girl will do anything with Eternatus. in fact i'd wager she is unsure what to do with it.

Faraday: Yes that is highly plausible. In the meantime continue perfecting the Gomez containment unit and the anti shira defenses. We will need them once we stir up the unavoidable Hornet's nest that is messing with her granddaughter. -hopes the modification to his new body are sufficient to stand up her to strength if need be. -

Gadgetz: shall do, at least our earlier failure gave us plenty of data to use in improving our equipment and plans. .

The rest of the week passed quietly and soon Arthur, ralphi and their families boarded the train in Wedgehurst bound for Wyndon and the final matches of the Galar league .
