The only source I can find is We Got This Covered, who is notoriously unreliable. So it's highly unlikely.

Personally, I would prefer he don't return. IMO he was already running out of steam in DOTM, and was just mostly annoying there. The way I see it, there's a whole world of actors who could star in Transformers movies. Like Cade or hate him, I actually think AOE and TLK were smart to move away from Sam. You don't want Transformers to become "The Shia LaBeouf Show". For that matter, I also don't want it to become "The Mark Wahlberg Show" or "The Hailee Steinfeld show". If I had my way, each Transformers film would have a different human cast, with the only connective tissue being the Transformers themselves (and maybe some Sector 7 agents or something). I am fine with actors starring in multiple movies if it fits the story...but we've had more than enough Sam. There's tons of other stuff to do in these movie, let's not tread the same ground over and over again.

Meh. The only way I can see Sam coming back is if Paramount decides to just go straight back to square one and flat-out remake the 2007 movie with some new kid in the part. Which, things being as they are now, I can still kinda see them doing.

 

If the Bay films were still continuing I could see Seymour Simmons and Cogman as main characters investigating Unicron or something else Transformer related because he's a member now, the only member now of the Witwicans.

I stick with my head-cannon, and that following DOTM, Attinger had almost everyone who interacted with the Transformers killed, including Sam and Carly.

I'm using your post as a launch point... I think WGTC should be blacklisted and added to the rules. Anyone posting/sharing their content should be immediately corrected and/or reprimanded for it because it can lead to big problems.

I don't know where you got that idea. Sam hasn't been in a Transformers movie since 2011 and Bayformers has been dead since 2017 thanks to TLK.

If we are to believe the random 13 year old youtube commenters whose sources are "that one poorly made fan theory video" and wegotthiscovered.com, then yes he and Megan Fox will return in Transformers 6: The Rise Of Unicron.

TLK implies a lot of things that don't make sense, even for a Transformers movie.

 

LET me just say it one more time , all of the rumours are from ''we got this covered'' which is known for telling lies only for clickbait! for example after they wrote the ''shia is coming back to TF'' they wrote another article that said shia is coming back as wolverine in the new x-men movie after dark pheonix but we know that they are rebtting this movies so you can see only fake stuff.

 

I tend to agree. At this point it's safe to say WGTC is no more reliable than a speculation blog or something. If sites like Google didn't list it as a news source, it basically would be a blog.
