Do you know if there are any upgrade heads for LS03 or LS03F like Dino or Capcomkai has for Blackapple prime? If I have to get this guy because BA is sold out I'd want to get a better head for it. Plus I'm leaning LS03F with The abs.... Comes with tons of weapons and a BFG. Price is great! What say you?

Also, If one was to buy him would I look for the original production run or get the new rebranded boxed version? Is there a difference, like a second run has better joints, or some minor tweaks or fixes? I'm seriously considering him, but not a fan of the translucent axe and swords. Is there an upgrade pack for the BMB MPM04? Dr. Wu? I'm more interested in a capcomkai head for BMB which would be a consolation given his backpack, but it's tolerable. Is the LSO3 a good bot for the 1st movie? Why are so many reviewers recommending LS03F if you're buying the first time?

Don't get me wrong, I am thinking of getting LS03F because he's a DOTM mod, and comes with a ton of accessories. Not to mention if I do get a version of the BA MPM04 by DF later, then It could be my 2007 & ROTF prime. So it's got appeal, not to mention the price on Alliexpress..
Not sure I like the darker Silvers in Altmode tho..
but still a nice piece. I'm just teetering on which to get.. the LS03 or the LS03F.. the F I can justify to myself.. if I get the DF/BA Prime later.. But I want that chrome look and love the 1st version of Prime too.. tough choice. Upgrades would be a good way to compensate no matter what choice I do.

 

have you seen this? it looks like there's a way to skinny up the abs and recess them a bit more...

I have both versions.

on my DOTM version I took it a step further and actually unscrewed/removedthe struts allowing the nose to fold back into the body (leaving the nose free floating), this allows the nose to hang a little further out than it otherwise would. Looks ok, helps. But at the end of the day, the nose configuration on this figure just can't really position so that the abs really look right. It's a shame. I think in just about every way except for the abs the paint and added details on the DOTM are superior to the 07/rotf version. But tye abs are a very visible issue and I'm luke warm on my dotm and love my 07/rotf version.

Just my 2 cents though. Both are awesome. Really wish someone had made the mold improvements on this guy to the MPM KO. Bugs me that if I use the scale MPM has settled on for official figures I have to settle for an inferior prime.

 

I got mine at aliexpress.. But I bought the no box version. I came late to the party. Mine is still shipping..

Not sure. I just bought mine a few weeks ago and am waiting for the delivery. I just got into the BMB MPM04 OSKO because Wei Jiang got shut down. so this is my alternative for DOTM version.

Well I don't own him yet, so I was kinda hoping the abs fix I saw on youtube would be a good way to help tuck that in a bit better, and I have to say doing the fix looks great. Any pics of the struts mod you did? Would like to see how it looks.

 

Here you go. The mod doesn’t buy much more length because of the empty space it exposes. I suppose if I made him non transforming I could extend it by cutting the removed piece and gluing part in. Right now the piece is just unscrewed and back in the box. So the figure can still be returned to mib condition.

He says you buy something else from him (cheapest thing they sell if you don't want anything else) and he will send the axe with it. Before pandemic they sent it for free but nowadays shipping is messy so they require another order to ship.

 

I think he means that he's going to send you a replacement together with your next order from him. Problem is: sometimes it takes a while to even get the part from the factory and then get it sent to you. I waited 8 months for my replacement for LS-06S from ShowZstore (due to CNY and Covid) and after your Buyer Protection on Aliexpress expires it's only up to the seller if he's gonna honor the terms of your agreement or not. You can also ask the seller to extend a purchase protection.
I suggest that you keep your eyes on that countdown timer, don't confirm the goods yet so if the seller can't get the parts, you'll manage to open a dispute and get a partial refund perhaps. Overall I don't recommend that "no box" option because it could be the warehouse worker (who doesn't give a crap about transformers), not the seller, who opens the box and repackages it so shit can happen

 

I've been waiting for 5 months to get an Ls-06 from Aliexpress, not sure if the wait has been worth it.

 

So I tried to transform this LS-03f (knight of light) version, and right off the bat, the snapped off. Is this fixable?

 

Yes it is. Same thing happened to mine. I used a short piece of plastic rod, specifically one of those Lego rods used for axles, etc. I cut it to the same length as the broken blue part, drilled holes where needed, and slipped it right on.

You can see it, not going to lie, but it works.



The hardest part is pulling those pins out. Good luck, hth.

 

Oh God, transforming this went from bad to fu@#, and honestly, I was so careful after having the first piece break. It almost felt like the plastic was rubber and came right off.

Im not looking for this LS03F version but i am looking for the LS03 version? Does anyone here have one they wanna part ways with or know where I can get that version besides ebay??
