This just in: Fun declared dead! "Overrated" say some adult collectors!

Depends on the combat situation. I'd love to pull out a tank the next time Im facing a mugger in a dark alley, but the Walther is probably more practical. Plus, SS never drives the Megs tank, but he does fire the gun!

 

there are five megatron repaint remolds of the same figure now. siege springer into something would have been a fresh one.

 

The only thing that really bugs me about Megatron tank version is the feet.   Those feet just are \"there\".  I guess that is a feature on some tanks but it seems incomplete.  The playability with the tank is good, but the feet just seem like, \"ehhh\", for a design feature.

 

I like it. I was going to skip the Earthrise mold and I'd prefer a more faithful G2 mold but this a decent attempt. Better than the Bludgeon remold they did a few years ago.

 

The first megatron toy i ever ownd finally gets somthing. A would have perferd an updated G2 megatron toy but i'll take what i can get.

Really hoping to get a G2 earth rise prime to go with it.

 

I'm hoping the Netflix Prime has the darker blue and yellow eyes.

 

Why do people care so much about G2 Megatron? Is it just nostalgia? Green and Purple Camo is disgusting! And where does that camo work, aside from when he’s standing directing in front of Devastator?!

 

I would want it to have the orange windows to. And all the sticker detail tampographed/painted on prime and the trailer. Just go all out on the toy look.

 

Ngl I actually really like how this looks. Almost enough to get me to break my one-figure-per-character rule. Almost.

 

I'm hoping that we get a Selects 2-pack with a G2 Starscream and G2 Ramjet . Maybe it could be a BBTS exclusive

 

bbts doesn’t get their own exclusives especially in the selects line and there’s already a list of selects we’re getting.

 

The black trailer just looks so much better. Plus the voicebox and the cannons added that little extra thing to stop the trailer from being just a box.

 

I'm down for that. If we don't get a new G2 Laser Optimus Prime to go along with Selects G2 ER Megatron then that's the next best thing.

 

G2 Megs looks pretty good. Last year, a nearby farm store got a bunch of combat hero megs and then put them for 70% off after Christmas came and nobody bought all of them so hopefully this guy ends up the same! Then I'll have siege megs, combat megs, Marvel Megs(Im going to repaint ER Megs) and a G2 megs.

 

Hmm. I like it more than I thought I would, especially with the lack of the iconic tank chest from the original. I like the purple hands, but wish that they were grey like the original toy. They’re odd, but not a dealbreaker. On the other hand, the apparent lack of holes in or around his backpack assembly for a shoulder-mounted cannon like the original is a bit disappointing to me, especially since Siege Megatron has them. It’s nice for what it is, but I’d prefer an entirely new mold that evokes the original toy more.

 

It's a way to get me to seriously think about buying the Earthrise Megs mold, I'll grant 'em that much. Still a teetering maybe though.

 

Now this is awesome! Wished his canon was shoulder mounted ..but regardless its great!
