And just because it took me a good while to figure out where the batteries go (there's no instructions with the figure), the grey panel on the underside of the gun lifts off. It's held in place with three small pegs, so go gently.

The batteries go in with the flat side against the spring. I used a small knife to pull the spring back so the batteries went in a bit more easily.



The on/off button is on the side of the stinger. Each press cycles through blue LED, Red LED, then off. Hopefully this will help anyone who's ordered the figure  

 

Thank you very much! one question, are the yellow pieces painted in different tones of yellow? I'm colorblind so... it doesn't matter to me, but I barely appreciate some differences.

(Yes, I'm a customizer and I'm colorblind, how ironic, isn't it?  )

 

The yellow seems very consistent all over, but obviously some areas are more weathered than others. I certainly can't see any major changes in colour tones on the figure.

I just watched the youtube video on this guy and it's pretty amazing so I purchased it. I was waiting for the Trans Craft version but not sure when it will come. I just need a Bumblebee to go with my Threezero prime anyway so it doesn't need to transform. It just needs to look the part which this guy does.

 

That's the same I think. I'll own the ThreeZero Prime (next month), so I don't need a transforming Bumblebee. It seems that this KO has no critical issues, it's probably a well done figure.

I must say WOW. I easily fixed the pin issue of the windows "wings" in less than 5 minutes. Some joints are very stiff, I had to use some lubricant, I was afraid of breaking something. But the quality and even the paint job are superb. Very very impressed. I recommend this figure, it's almost perfect for being a KO.

And I repainted the emblem and add some subtle shadows to the face, I think it must be something about the mold copy but the emblem is not precise at all, so I tried to give it a better look.

 

Your tips and customisations are great! Those eyes look more like a living warm glow now, I have the original threezero DLX Prime and his eyes have that warmer glowing blue. Really excited to get him now 

 

Don't know if buy the genuine version of this guy because this KO is very very good. Don't know how it feels the genuine, but this one is almost perfect in all the ways.

 

That looks great. Now I'm thinking of using 50% reflective film instead - cut out half the light but also make his eyes more lively looking when they're turned off due to reflected light.

 

I buy KO's, I have no problem with KO's, but this one feels wrong. Threezero charges a very reasonable price for the real thing and it's awesome that a company is producing this level of quality for such a fair price. I feel like supporting this KO is a bit of a kick in our own asses. We should support legit companies when they offer awesome stuff at awesome prices.

 

I pre-ordered Optimus DLX but I can't find Bee on my country at a fair price. I'm sorry but I won't pay 200$ or more for this Bee. Anyway I'm sure if someday I find the genuine version at fair price, I will buy it. I support genuine figures always, but in this case... I can't support pay the prices of this figure on my country.

Just waiting for the KO of OP from this company...

 

This figure has REALLY tight joints, the skeleton is all diecast, but the elbows are made in plastic. I recommend you to use a dropper with one drop of lubricant (silicon lubricant without solvents, that one don't "eats" the plastic). I applied one drop in all the joints and it improves a LOT the articulations.

I use WD-40 (very cheap and trusty), since my memory works   it's very respectful with pvc, plastic, rubbers and metal, just use one drop, no more because is very fluid. I only bought one bottle in my whole life
