I'm glad they're releasing this again. I wanted to get a 2nd set but they already sold out & shot up to $150 - $200.

These will be up for preorder on Thechosenprime & BBTS etc. right?

lol I just really want Venom to be made.

Funny enough, it's sorta the opposite when it comes to MP releases. I can get them shipped from Amazon.jp to the US faster and cheaper than from TT mall or Hasbro Pulse. Definitely not a good sign when Amazon can beat your own in-house distributor pricing, for Hasbro or Takara.

Anyone wanting Skywarp should be thankful we've deviated from the timeline where Takara coats these things in ugly cartoon-accurate paint and the value of the stateside version holds at $400.

Already knew this was coming a week ago from their last tweet, but again I'm just so damn glad we don't have to pay scalper price for this set. It's already a pain trying to catch up with all the exclusives and waves of figures people missed from either joining late or HasTak not reaching their products far enough.
Sounds rough, I didn't realise it was like that. I thought it'd be the other way around considering TT IS Japanese and their lines are catered heavily to the Japanese fans. Considering the COVID-19 situation, which I've heard is pretty bad in Japan though correct me, is that the reason they're charging extra shipping due to higher demand of those services? Still dumb how they're adding a 2000 yen markup. As someone who has to get these imported this makes it more expensive.

I don't understand why certain Amazon exclusives can't be shipped or are unavailable. Recently the Earthrise two-packs came onto Amazon but they don't ship here to Australia, but I had no problem getting the Alternate Universe Prime exclusive despite both coming from America anyways. So to be fair this isn't just a TT thing, it's also Hasbro but the fact TT doesn't make things available to their own market is just bad. Looks that way anyways.

It\'s nice to see everything from the us release included in this, it gives me reassurance that even if the coneheads don\'t come back in stock on amazon they\'ll be available in Japan.

So... I can buy this and have it shipped to me in the US... right? Haven't bought anything from the TT Mall before.

I think you have to order it from a place like Bigbadtoystore, TFSource, Thechosenprime etc. That's what I always do.

You still need some sort of 3rd party. If you don't want to go with the usual e-tailer, there is the option of proxy service (zenmarket is an example).

However, as Japan Post still will not send packages to the US, then you're stuck with very, very expensive shipping via international FedEx and DHL.

I don t get the hate around this reissue in Japan for extra 16$:
    - Takara retail price is already 5 10$ more for deluxe or voyager there because there is a lot less demand
    - Takara Tomy malll exclusives are always 5 10 20$ more expensive depending of the size class of the figure
    - Skywarp is super wanted by the fans who missed it.

    so why the hate?

ratchet will probably be 35 or 40 $ when Takara Tomy mall will release it as this is the price of any ttmall exclusive deluxe figure, people will still complain

By making it a Takara Tomy Mall exclusive, it's going to get complicated for some people to get it. As for the price, sure, it's better than paying what, $200+ on the aftermarket, but it's still going to be expensive for folks who don't want to spend a lot on a damn repaint that was initially made more expensive than it should be because it included some shitty extra targetmasters.

Admittedly, it would have been nice to get a Siege Skywarp cast in actual black plastic instead of the charcoal they decided to use for some reason.

To each their own, but I’d be massively disappointed if after giving us the Seeker Trio, Rainmakers, Hotlink and even Redwing all in their Tetrajet modes they screwed up the collection on the finish line and gave us Sunstorm and Bitstream in different moulds.

    Too expensive.

    Too much \"cr@pple-damage\" paint.

And to think this should, really, be on Amazon Japan, instead of at TT Mall (which is the only place in Japan, where they don\'t accept Japanese Visa credit/debit cards, she only them give the option of paying at a convenience store, by cash, which then costs additional fees to use a cash-point machine go withdraw money).

Takara is increasingly slipping down the slope to being bought-out (by Hasbro?), IMO.

Must be news to him that a Japanese company is catering to the Japanese market and paying at convince stores is a normal thing in Japan.
