So much for these being wal-mart exclusives? Unless they're just importing the ones from Japan? If so seems a bit insane when they could just buy up what their wal-mart has down the street from their warehouse?

I wonder if some of the US exclusives stopped being exclusive and/or BBTS is picking up clearance from walmart. Walmart.com delisted him (other 3rd party listings up instead).

Japan UM is a little over $90 with current exchange rate and isn't even out yet in Japan until December per TTMall. Asian market pricing is also higher than here. BBTS is listing the figure at the same clearance price as b&m Walmart stores ($25 off). Real Walmart stores humorously slashed the price (almost) right away to get these figures the heck out of their stores. This figure was also the only wave 1 pre-order that Walmart.com did sorta right, probably in light of the mass pre-order cancellations after people found out what was inside.

Anyhow, $35 will get you a Leader figure with awful re-deco, battle master with cool re-deco, exclusive new blast effects, and 3 tiny energon cubes. The black play-doh knock-off is horrible and stains your hands after you try to get the energon cubes out of them.

I ordered the Lightning collection MMPR yellow ranger back in February for, I think it was, June... June comes and goes, pushed back to July... July comes and goes, pushed back to August...

Then I’m seeing ads for BBTS where you can order the entire wave with the yellow ranger in it... WTF? Where’s my fucking ranger?!

So I email them and ask “what gives? Why are you selling entire wave when I had the one on pre order for like 3 months?”.

All I got back was a form letter stating they have no control over when stuff comes in...

 

Wondering if I should email BBTS about Athena soon. Seems like the other sites got her in around this time last month, but no sign of her here.

 

Some other places do this too (especially EE) where cases get prioritized over individual figures.

I waited about a month or so for the recent PE DX-11 figures to get into BBTS after a few other sites got them (typically, overseas will get them sooner).

I really hope that BBTS starts to get some of the wave 2 and selects figures in this week. When I preordered Greasepit I tossed in a Siege Chormia because after watching Cyberverse and Siege I decided that I want a figure of her and now I'm considering shipping her by herself because I could really use the release of serotonin.

 

Is there something that suggests wave 2 might ship or be in stock soon?

 

No. If anything, we've got the opposite, since they got delayed to October on Pulse, if I remember correctly.

 

No, I'm just trying to be hopeful. BBTS still has Hubcap, Greasepit, and Exhaust slated to come in this month so I would at least take those coming in if nothing else.

 

Pulse is only saying the delay is to September... expected 9/1 from what I'm seeing.
