really hoping I get mine by the end of the week, it's been in Des Moines since Monday but had one hell of a wind storm blow through so power is out in a lot of places, mom said they told her she would be lucky if they had electricity by next week. My uncle is saying more like 2 to 3 weeks up where he lives since it crumpled up a bunch of the metal towers that carry the heavy lines.

 

Have you transformed him yet? My qc sticker was hidden on the inside of a flap on his back.

 

Hopefully you get it by the end of the week. More importantly I hope the damage is repaired quickly in the area, that was a nasty looking storm.

Has anyone received theirs from baba? (Ebay or store). Normally he sends a tracking number but he didn’t after I sent him the extra cash to cover higher shipping. I have no doubt I’ll get it - just trying to gauge when I might expect it.

 

Well if it is anything like my Warpath order the shipping is killing his business, I ended up sending an extra $10 for shipping then it took them 3 weeks to actually ship it. If I recall correctly the actaul shipping took a month or more to get to me, it sat in the China dispatch for several weeks. Just FYI.

 

at last report 10 million acres of crops had been damaged and 266k people are still without power. Not to mention however many million bushels of grain were ruined by destroyed grain bins. Fully expect meat prices to go sky high due to the crop damage, it's already been inflated here due to the Covid thing going through the meat packing plants and having to shut them down.

 

Just got mine from Baba yesterday, ordered off his website last November and paid for additional shipping.

 

I just got mine from Baba. One week from China to San Francisco. TWO WEEKS being bumped around the USPS system i.e. going to Oakland and then coming back to SF.

Baba's always handled my orders super quick. I ordered 2 other items the past month, and they all arrived within 10 days.

 

My money is on an eventual M version release. I will wait for that, as I just don't like the color scheme.

If no repaint comes out, I always still have Brawny (who I still really like).

Baba's eBay shipped mine on 8/04 and just now preparing to ship. I had to pay him extra $10, but didn't have to when he shipped Sheridan(he shipped it without sending me a tracking and just showed up). Maybe I shouldn't have asked him to ship Hunk and just let him do it so I wouldn't get charged the extra $10.

 

You guys complain too much. I was charged 15. Like why the extra 5?

 

Oh man, thoughts and prayers to you and your family, Taz. We recently had Isaias pass by around me, we only just got full power back at work on Tuesday. Lotta trees down, so actual work was in a bit of a pinch. Hopefully everything goes just as well for you, in terms of recovery.

If there's one wind storm impacting me, it's BBTS' for my Brawn. I'm not feeling even a breeze nearby.  

 

drove up through Newton, about 15 miles north from where I live and it was so messed up it almost made me cry, as it is my hometown and have either lived in it or close to it all my 44 years. fronts ripped off of buildings, houses with trees in them, downed power lines all over, half the streets off the main drag were closed with trees and lines in them. one of the churches had the roof ripped off the addition, and one of the gas stations that has been there forever had part of it's roof ripped off with the other half laying inside the store. and that was just from 75 mile an hour winds, some other places had winds in excess of 100 mph. guess I am just rambling, don't mind me, lol.

 

well, if it can be believed the tracking is saying mine is out for delivery, woo, hoo! So, with this and Sideswipe and Wheeljack being shipped, all I have left for season one is Trailbreaker, then Grimlock and Snarl for the Dino's and Thundercracker and the Constructicons for my season 1 collection to be fulfilled. Didn't seem like when I started buying these that I would ever get to this point.

I feel like we need better representations of the original TT carbots now. They look far more toy than toon compared to the releases the past several years

 

See-that doesn't really bother me. For the most part, I feel like they work together nicely. Wheeljack and Prowl fit with the new bots just fine. A toy like Sideswipe definitely feels more dated, buy I'm too certain that a V2 would include a fake chest that would kill my interest instantly.
