I thought I had begun to mistakingly take large doses of crazy pills lately, because of how much that super extremely ugly as hell Arcee protoform thread that keeps getting bumped up, but I was quite amazed to this thread get bumped as well: @ultraman zoffy - You did a nice job there. I am not a big fan of the head (I think Zeta “fixed” it enough for themselves with the metallic release); but you know what they say about polishing a... If you like the figure, right on. But about a day after purchasing her, I had extreme buyers remorse and she’s been boxed away for ages now. I really can’t even stand looking at the figure

Looks good, if I may add a suggestion here: If u can make the add-on split and like a side skirt might look even better in robot mode.
I can't really recommend that mold. I have the TW one, it's not the worst thing in the world, some interesting things about it. But to compete with the other Arcees it really needs a mod kit with a back end for the vehicle mode and a new head at the very least.
Best Arcee available, in my opinion, is the MMC Arcee, preferably the new redeco version. TW Arcee is better than most give it credit for, but does have issues. Specifically, there are bits of flash on the mushroom peg for the thigh that block the rotation and need to be trimmed off, and the forearms are on the wrong sides, plus the head really needs some additional paint. The alt mode is a write-off, no way around it. But, at the end of the day, it's a solid figure and a good price.
This Arcee looks unfinished. Why would you ever have a figure where the alt mode is incomplete? Sigh...
I never really ever had buyers remorse; but this is up there with one of the worst TF purchases I’ve ever made. Opinions of course. My opinion is this figure is absolutely terrible. The Zeta version is a “polished ‘turd’” especially. The face is nice because it was actually altered and looks nice painted up — the rest of the body is the same Garbo they released before though — unfinished and absolutely bonkers looking. People (including me) make fun of the up and coming official Arcee and her chest; yet I see no one complaining about the insanely stupid and very similar looking chest on this figure. Her chest sucks. Her feet suck. And if you have a V1; her head sucks too (no pun intended).
And yet, you bought it. lol Not like it was some sight unseen real estate purchase or something you couldn't have avoided. Sounds like the problem is your purchasing judgement rather than a fault of Toyworld/Zeta. I pass up stuff all the time when I don't dig the design, it isn't that hard.
What's wrong with Leia's chest? Certainly no worse than FT' version. Looks perfectly fine with me, either viewing front or side. While MP Arcee is too low
An amazingly amazing congratulations to you then sir; for seemingly going your entire life without ever purchasing a single thing you may have regretted in hand later, in your likely 30+ years on this planet. I find it absolutely highly unlikely, but I’ll take your word for it. Well, it is your choice to use the bulbous fan service chest when doing your comparison - but yes - I meant more from the side. You say it looks fine; but I find it looks somewhat similar to the officials low hanging chest design. Not as bad, but looks pretty terrible (to me).
Even though I like this toy, I agree with you that it's badly designed. My issue is that you basically drove into the side of a building, and yet you blamed the building for being in your way. That's funny to me.

The only thing I really like on the Takara is the head and holster. Holster is cool. Guns, too. Leia's suck. They look like $1 KO weapons.
wat I like how you assume. You’re “good” at that. Me and a few others were some of the first people to even own this figure. It was on RK before anywhere else and a few of us snagged copies. There was also no other “MP” Arcee’s in existence during this time period. Had FT’s existed, or even MMC’s; I would have gotten one or the other, before this figure. I had zero idea the extent of this figures shittiness until I had it in hand. Keep living your best life tho, broh. Edit: Also what the what about anime lmfao. How can you fucking sit there and say the huge tits OPTIONAL chest piece isn’t fan service. man
