That's what we were told but I can't see anything that has been modified. So the fix remains the same. They shipped yours? They did not ship mine 3 days after some of you have theirs shipped... I honestly don't know what to think of that.

be stupid damn careful. I made my MP magnus shoulder sag some when I was trying to remove some stress marks on the blue armor piece. I didn't leave it on for any single length of time for very long, but repetitive short bursts did it for me. It went from "this isn't working" to "omg this is working" to "crap it's melting" in about 2 seconds.
Yes he applied the easy fix by cutting the tabs behind the knees. Not a solution as far as I am concerned. You end up making an awesome feature disappear.
I used a lighter on a THF MP Ultra Magnus. I just don't recommend it but if you don't want to invest in a heat gun, its the next best thing. Otherwise, I've done this with KO Ratchet and Ironhide, DX9's Menasor, and I'm sure others but those the ones I remember the most needing it.
I ended up canceling my PO, tho it was more to do with me buying something else much more expensive recently. I hope this guy ends up being decent.

So basically...they modified the small tab holding the back of the waist in place. It is now wider. Don’t just pull it, unlatch it first before pulling. This is why the poster was telling people to loosen the screw on the back. It makes it easier to get the tab over the area that holds it in place. comparison pics
Seconded. I've ruined more than my fair share of pieces using a heat gun with exactly the same results: Not working, not working, not working, yay worki-too late it's melted. A hair dryer is safer because it's not as hot as a heat gun. I would say a safer alternative is just hot water. You can boil it but I just use hot water from the tap and that usually does the trick. Hot enough to soften the plastic but not hot enough to destroy it.
I’ve never had hot or boiling water remove stress marks. I’ve also never melted anything with a heat gun. As long as you don’t keep it held directly at the plastic for more than a second at a time it shouldn’t get hot enough to melt. I sort of quickly wave the hot air at the stress mark repeatedly, like a second blasting the area, wait a few seconds, blast again, wait, repeat until it starts to go away- then wait a bit for it to cool and if it’s still there one more quick blast should make it gone. That said, I am usually hesitant to suggest it because of what I’ve seen people do. While it has worked wonderfully for me for over ten years with no fatalities, an abundance of caution is still advised. Hopefully this KO won’t be prone to stress marks, he’s already caused people enough stress before even arriving.
He is, unfortunately. If you see my first review pics on page 89, I made 4 stress marks on just the first transformation. The unpainted plastic is prone to stress marks.
