That's a clever repack as they managed to slip the ER figures out without cutting the plastic ties while slipping in the older classics deluxe figures. An unassuming Target employee wouldn't be able to catch the difference as they look similar enough to the picture on the back.

Dirtbag move, but at least they remained respectful of the characters. That old classics Skywarp is pretty hard to find too as he was never distributed on his own and only available in the 2pack

After looking at what Classics/Henikei Skywarp go for that really not a bad find, if some one were looking for a deluxe class Seeker.

They are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. If they are sitting on e-bay, nobody is buying them so they must not be worth that amount. People can ask whatever they want, that doesnt mean they will find a buyer. Pawn Stars 101.

I would never do this type of s**t because its too cheap for my blood. And at the Targets in my area, the customer service center is always manned by fine ass chicks so Im not doing it. Too embarrassing. But to play devils advocate, the cheapskate who did this found the toy first and paid full price for it fair and square. If he is pathetic enough to recoup money this way and has no shame, more power to him. I blame the store for not training their employees better. You wont find a 10 year old power drill repacked on the shelf at Home Depot. Why ? Because they actually give a s**t. If Target or Walmart doesnt give a s**t because their insurance covers this, then it is what it is. If I had a choice between siding with the cheapskate or an insurance company, Im gonna side with the cheapskate everytime. I consider insurance companies to be the scum of the Earth. 100% profit margin even if no claims are filed. They profit from others losses while sitting on their ass calling it "work". So while Im not gonna be the smart ass who beats the system, Im not gonna come on here and complain about those who do.
I see this thread as an ongoing joke and I come here for a laugh and "like" the funniest images. But lately this thread has become a haven for pepole who complain because they came late to the party and all they found were empty beer cans and piss puddles. Ive already learned its best to get up early if you want to find that seeker 2 pack or that scorponok. Like 8 am early. If you come around noon, this is what you will find. The early bird catches the worm. Thats life people.

I remember grabbing that 2-pack new a few years back for $50. That was when I didn’t know WFC was happening and I found Prime wars less than stellar.

If they could find a way to reseal them they probably would. Obviously they have no shame. But in their minds they probably think breaking even is better than losing money on ebay.

I know ive said this before, but the only real losers here are the insurance companies. The shameless collector got his new toy and didnt have to deal with the world of ebay to recoup his money for the unwanted toy. And the store that gets stuck with the old toy writes it off in their insurance claims which they have to pay for every year anyways regardless even if no thefts were to occur. Hell, they might even donate the non-sellable merchandise to Goodwill or give them away to employees for their kids. Im quite certain some lucky kids are getting these toys free. So unless your a fan of insurance companies, theres no reason to be damning these guys who do this silliness. Just get a good laugh, take a photo to contribute to the thread, and be happy youre not in their position. Im sure none of these repackers are living the American dream.
