I just got preorders info email from BBTS concerning he new Netflix version of Siege Ultra Magnus.

I won't be getting it as I'm happy with my original Siege figure, and I'm not fussed about they extras and I think I prefer the white stacks of the original.

The new repaint is very nice though, and I was tempted at that price. Much cheaper than the original. I'm assuming the preorder price is discounted.

Another idea for Slitherfang. If you have Brunt, you can use his cannon piece as an adaptor for blast effects.

Heard that Doubledealer has some QC issues, so while I'm waiting for mine to come, I want to know: are they true? And if so, are there any fixes?

Mostly asking because apparently some pieces disconnect, and they're hard to peg back in (possible, but difficult). Word of mouth helped save my Grapple from falling into the issues some other unfortunate Grapples ended up in... and considering this is a Leader with more intricate pieces and also being one that's semi-difficult to obtain as of now (only found one in the wild, which I left because I'm still waiting for this one, because I got $15 less for the one I'm waiting for), I just want to know before anything happens.

 

My Doubledealer is fine and I don’t think he has any serious qc issues like grapple.

 

I just noticed my Grapple has a pin that busted out on one side - is there an easy fix for that?

 

Got mine at 19.99 as well! Pretty excited. I love the Brunt figure but at that price I feel like I'm getting a bunch of awesome accessories and a figure as a bonus.

 

Don't know much about pins myself. I was referring more so to the pegs that have the risk to break due to the transformation (they clip into the feet, but the pegs are a bit too big).

 

The crane pegs are correct on Grapple. It's his feet ports that are warped. The appropriate fix is to use a 5mm drill bit by hand to fix the port (easiest, takes seconds) or carefully use a razor to open up the port. I know people have the done the 'wrong' fix of shaving down the pegs, which won't prevent other pegs from getting stuck.

One thing that I can't figure out about Airwave's face from the stock photos, is it that he two small yellow/orange eyes and like a big round nose in the middle. Or is the "nose" in the middle supposed to be like a big cyclops eye?

I think it’s suppose to be a shockwave-esque eye. But now that you mention it, it does look like a clown nose. How fitting given his eye-searing colorscheme.

You know what would be nice? A snake head with a moveable jaw, and an attachment point for the blast effect.
