I didn't even know any of those existed... And... I'm pretty sure even a generic sounding Starscream would sound better as long as he can actually act. It doesn't matter if you can sound like the character if you can't freaking act. "Blitzwing" doesn't sound like the character and he's still a better Starscream than Jack. Jack Merluzzi is so bad that I refuse to even acknowledge him being an actor... he's just a Starscream VOICE without the acting part. No one who was in that video game can act. They all sound boarded as hell like they're just reading lines. Even fictional actors who are suppose to be bad like Count Olaf are still better actors than anyone in that game.

I really want to see someone play a version of Count Olaf that just sounds board as hell whenever he's suppose to be in character "acting" because so far whenever anyone is suppose to play a "bad" actor they usually just OVER act which is still pretty entertaining. I wanna see the Count Olaf who is such a bad actor that he doesn't act at all.

 

Yeah, well, the Cyber Missions cast couldn't really act that well either, so they're the just as bad.

 

Steve Blum is my favorite voice for starscream
Tom Kenny and Sam riegel are 2nd and frank todaro is 3rd

 

They didn't really sound like the characters in the movies that they were suppose to be but they could act. They just weren't good at matching the voices. I remember Sideswipe sounded very different from how he did in the films but I actually like Cyber Missions Sideswipe MORE than the movies because he has more of an actual personality and isn't just a prop. Part of that is that the Cyber Missions had more of a focus on the actual Transformers instead of a human focus like the actual movies where the Transformers are more like props, set pieces, and plot devices than characters.

I myself rather like Steve Blum's take on Starscream, as many of us do.
However, I would also like to point out Billy Bob Thompson's Starscream from Cyberverse, one of the better voices what with hit-and-miss casting of the show. His voice did help to make that unhinged Starscream rather chilling.

Something interesting about Steve Blum is that he was actually in Transformers voicing multiple other characters long before he was Starscream but I never heard of him till after he was cast as Starscream... like that's the role that really made him popular in the Transformers continuity despite him voicing other characters for YEARS before that.

His actual first role in Transformers was Dark Scream from RID2001, he also voiced Fortress Maximus and W.A.R.S. in that same series. He then did a bunch of Transformers video games before finally ending up as Prime Starscream. I don't think there are many other actors who have done so many different characters across multiple continuities.

 

Chris Latta and Michael Dobson

 

Chris Latta will always be my favorite star scream but Steve Blum really captures the character even met the guy once a few years back at a con so score there.

 

Its Frank Todaro, not 'Frank Torado'. He's the one who's come closest to Latta, IMO. But I voted for Latta.
