    Can you do the math?
I'd buy the goose laying golden eggs for that price.

Really? Don't know what happened there. I'd checked the site earlier in the day before it was listed, then saw the update on here, went to check and it was 125.

Was it immediately on listing? Did they low ball by accident and have to rectify it? Interesting nonetheless...

Yeah, saw them at 94. Worked out that if you get stung with customs, which appears highly possible, it's almost exactly the same as TFS-Express in the end. About 105 quid with 20% on top ain't fun. Plus card transaction fees for currency exchange...

Look at the bright side, this Egg does make a lot more items I used to think too expensive now seems very affordable....I just paid for FansHobby Overlord --- It's only $220, compare to this egg it's like a steal.

I am certainly in the camp where I'd have preferred no gimmicks and a 3 pack for a hundy... however...

There will be higher labor costs with what I'd expect to be a higher class of skilled worker putting the lights and gizmos together, which is also more time intensive. It's also painted. Maybe it'll get a nice cure so we don't get chipping. *thinking good thoughts*

welp, I suppose nonsense leads to more nonsense. The obscenity of this pricing made me order Threezero Optimus Prime which I can't really afford. But, at least I'm getting my money's worth with that!

If you haven't had any other ThreeZero products or similar, I think you are going to be damn impressed and happy with your decision. I certainly am. I think it's one of my favorites...

Hard to cough up all that dough at one so I spread the love. Placed a Preorder at TFSource, and will place a preorder at Toy Dojo and BBTS once they're up. That way since they come in scattered I will be as they come in LOL with BBTS most likely last

Soooo.... for me, if I order from OMP(OhMyPrimus) The price for one with shipping is 134.64 which is better than the prices being shown anywhere else. I've never ordered from this company before. Before I decide to consider this even more, can anyone help assure me this is a good place to order from and can you tell me if I would incur any other charges through-out the order process for any reason? As many others have mentioned, it's still higher than I had hoped but I'll take this over the 176 plus shipping. Sucks cause I won't be in on a trio for this but I'm down for just one at this price.

I think you missed the point.
Multiple people are saying OUTRIGHT that adding lights and sounds to a toy is expensive and that's why this costs so much. Not talking about production volumes, not talking about original design this or stolen design that. They are saying that electronics are expensive.
I showed three separate toys, with electronics, all under $40. An even more complex toy, still under the price. It's irrelevant if they are KO's or from a different line. It makes no difference to the point being made. Someone said this is expensive because lights and sounds are expensive. I said, if lights and sounds are expensive, hen why are these cheap?

It has NOTHING to do with KO.
I 100% knew someone was going to try to bring that up.

The reality is there aren't that many 3P products with lights AND sounds to compare this too. But Spark Toys Spartacus has all over paint, is larger, transforms and has lights and he's only $130.

I agree, the electronics are not that expensive, that’s why we won’t see a cheaper version without electronics. If they took it all out, it wouldn’t reduce the price drastically and would look even more like a grift.

Yeah I don't get it - the size is pretty good but this is still a hollow plastic egg with no transforming parts.

Hmm, $135 shipped from OMP sounds like what it should be from every retailer. Very tempting at that price.

I see now he has a power chord. My interest level is peaked. I’ve got some rewards points I could use

I’m just dreading moving the cases to get him to the power source

For me, to Ohio, it would have been just over $150 shipped. ~$30 more than my absolute max I'd be willing to pay for a single one.
