I mean the reissue (regular colour). On Taobao listings for the reissue, it mentions that the regular colour will come with 1 sword and 1 axe (vs 1 sword and 2 axes for Nemesis version).

It's okay. None of the English-language stores seem to mention the extra weapons for the regular colour, and all the stock photos are from the original run, so I just wanted confirmation that this information is correct since plans could have changed.

 

A gymnast's split would look a bit more like this though..  

 

Yes, the reissue comes with a dark grey, silver painted and translucent orange axe and sword and his 2 guns. Mine didn't come with the straight antennae... (not installed, the outward pointed ones were in a tiny ziploc baggy). But I don't care about the straight antennae , so that's no issue for me.

 

Thanks for the confirmation!   I prefer the outward ears anyway so I'm looking forward to getting my copy.

 

I have Darkness Maxmas. The plastic and paint are great. It's like a willow tree, it's strong because stuff bends and doesn't break. The front wheels are crap. They're too loose, so you can't push the truck along as they rub against the wheelwell. I didn't have to trim any plastic to get tabs tabbed in. The foot guard has a metal piece above it. The holes on each side of this metal bit are different sizes. This means the grey plastic piece that becomes the top of the truck bed peg in on one side only. Odd.

 

I had the same issue on the reissue, I just cut the hole a bit bigger on the gray leg piece. It was just an issue with excess plastic, quite visible from the inside.

 

Out of curiosity, anyone have any news with OhMyPrimus and this prime order? I haven’t received any updates or email thus far.

 

Yea I'm still waiting for my Nemesis order to update. Starting to get a little impatient.

 

Oh wait, it was actually a hole on one of the blue leg panels to tab in the gray piece.

 

Blame my work avoiding behaviour... Can't get enough of this figure! It's not perfect, but if you handle it with some care and patience you can get a lot out of it... Also transformed him at least 2 times back and forth today.. It's not so bad once you get the hang of it. It does eat up some time though...

Maybe Gcreations decided to leave the straight antennae out of the reissue...? I thought I read somewhere the black version doesn't come with them either...

 

Did the initial release have any QC issues with said straight antenna?

 

Not really... I believe it just wasn’t accurate

 

The back and forwards ratchets on the figure's left leg don't work. I'm going to take it apart.

 

How are the leg joints on your Darkness. The forward and back works for me, but couldn't hold any sideway outwards, they just swing back down. I know the first run of the original colors could hold the leg out but eventually loosen up for some people as time passed.

 

Well, just thought I'd announce this. I got an email from OhMyPrimus and it seems they just got Ultra Maxmas in stock and are shipping it around Friday.

 

Same with Darkness Maxmas, paid my balance this morning!
