He is a lovely looking boy and I hadn’t realised how well that Beachcomber scaled against him.

From the movie I have two sequences that stand out. During the Autobot vs Junkion combat the Junkions transformation between bike robot where they ride upon other Junkions is iconic, from the same scene Springer uses all modes as a triple changer.

Not for me but I’m sure there maybe some people who would split the pack.

Good shout, I’m sick of Shapeways ripping me off and don’t much like the potential health hazzard of mould making and resin casting so trying to find a 3D printer myself

After watching Siege I finally got around to watching Cyberverse, part way through season 2 and I am really enjoying it...I need to stop assuming these new shows will be too 'kiddified' just because the toys are.

Infact I decided to grab a Warrior Soundwave as I really like his design and character in this show.

See its funny, I agree Siegewipe is very Cybertronian, but with a spoiler and a toy hax kick he'd be easily passable as a earth concept car to me.

*sigh* my resolve is crumbling like a rather overcooked biscuit. I may just have to grab Tigertracks.

Aye, I do recall reading they had gotten their names switched. Skytread is definitely a more appropriate name. But Flywheels is just too daft - too Ronseal - a name not to love.

He was a snaker boi, she said see ya later boi, he wasn't rampy enough for her....

Anyone being reading that Transformers vs. Terminator series? Haven't bothered yet myself, but christ-biscuits if Alex Milne can't draw some amazing looking bots.

I would kill for figures based off these designs, particularly that Velociti. It's all about the Phoenix decal.

Soundwave is a major badass in Cyberverse. Loved the depiction.

Velocity is channeling the Tracks vibe for me, just lacks the shoulder wings.
These are some very nice designs and keep the chest bumper feel of the G1 car bots whilst remaining unique and new in design.

Bet you didn't want a Hubcap either, eh? :)

    Screen Shot 2020-08-12 at 13.56.20.png

Blimey it's hot out there, Threadizens! o_O  Also is Hubcap displaying Batesian or Müllerian mimicry?

I'll go for the latter as he was in the Wreckers... ;)

PS - thanks to @joetele for the camera-component 'con cad, he's fab! :)

Welp. Guess I'll need to read this now. I didn't have any interest in it before but loving these redesigns, though I am very fond of Velocity's design in Lost Light. Way I see it this can be her Earth Mode :D  Come to that, also gives Arcee a more real Earthly car mode than her sci fi future car traditional alt mode :D
I love how Alex draws fembots in general and just the other day I was thinking it'd be interesting to see how an Alex Milne designed Arcee might look as his style of fembots is quite distinct to other artists so seeing how he would design Arcee or Windblade etc would be fun as the times he drew them in IDW1.0 he was clearly working from existing model sheets compared to say Nautica or any of the MTMTE/LL fembots.

Too recent to be iconic i guess, but I love Dropkick and Shatter's flight mode>land in car mode>robot mode before they've even fully turned to car mode.

And loads of stuff thats been mentioned already, but especially Unicron's transformation.

Already firmly within the 'Stop Barbie-legging Arcee' camp but that Velocity?
    Hooo, Boy!
Who doesn't dig a fine lass with a gnarly back tattoo? I'm IN!
    BIG SAME.

I was expecting no less than 2 but no more than 4 today from postie and, even without Shapeways UPS man, it's but FIV-
I mean SIX!?! (Yes, Mr. UPS turned up mid post composure!)
God & The Serpent, and Second Spinister?
    DSC_0046.JPG
    Well, it's about time!

(Action Man) Hammer & (Playmobil) Anvil?
    DSC_0050.JPG DSC_0051.JPG
Well, that's two Ebay sellers who are getting glowingly writ-up from me! Lightning fast, especially for COVID-Times!
Also quite made up about the Action Man hammer, I suspected it might look a bit comically big on an Ironworks bod BUT the black handle is about the sane width dimensions as the stock hook hand AND that means it's wide enough to just drill out a 5mm Port. Found purely at random in that last Ebay look-see, and the nearest toy hammer accessory I've ever seen to the OG1 UK comics' very croquet mallet cylindrical head with the pair of lateral grooves. Anvil has an open bottom so enpostifying should be done with relative ease
    RESULT!

Skipping forward as we are going by Surprise level for Last, some lovely plates!
    DSC_0054.JPG
One of them definitely already allocated but I need to do a paint run before I can crack on with 'em!

    WHAT A NUMBER!
    SIX!?!
    DSC_0052.JPG

    It's only bloody GWorks!!!!!!!???????????!!!!!!!!!!!
    :jawdropper:
A fantastic and fitting weapon set AT LAST!
The Ammo Bandolier's texture weirds me out a bit though an uncanny valley sensation to touch, my first thought was, "Weird! Wait is medical grade silicone the same stuff they make Fleshlights out of? Eurgh, it wouldn't surprise me.
Despite my tactile faux flesh revulsion reaction it still looks great, it's 50/50 whether I'll try avoid touching it so often, or if I'll be prodding it every 5 minutes from now going, "Nope, still weird, ew!"

Obviously also included a rammed box o' ramp-age!
    DSC_0047.JPG
And the results are mixed but hopeful.
As feared they are a bit wider than originally anticipated...
    DSC_0049.JPG
...but not so wide that a couple of post anchoring cutouts can't be looked at doing for securing.
Plenty of experimentation to do before that though, including a most crucial question - does it dye?

We'll have to wait to find out though because it is just...

    A Happy Birthday to@Braddock.

Those are fantastic. I'm pretty tired of the 'skinny fembot with a shell that becomes a massive backpack' design that seems pretty common the recent toy lines so hopefully these do help inspire some new toys.

As I got this Bad Man out of the box.....the Thunder started. A figure so impressive he has his own fanfare from nature. IMG_20200812_145557.jpg

I'm taking a guess that Kapow must have a LOT of Hubcaps to bung out the door because I've not gotten a dispatch on mine yet either.

We've seen listings for an 86 movie studio series version so fingers crossed we may be in for a real treat there.
New Studio Series Deluxe Walmart Listings: Kup, Blurr, And New Jazz - Transformers News - TFW2005

Interesting that bluestreak is numbered at e28 which puts him smack bang in between the autobot alliance pack and the centurion drone. Kapow are saying he should still be a regular release though.
    Screenshot_20200812_150615_com.facebook.orca.jpg IMG_20200812_150915.jpg

What's even more interesting is runabout is listed as e41 which means e28 which is after the coneheads and before the seekers is still a mystery. Most likely answer is the autobot clones but Could it be the 3rd leader of the line or ratchet perhaps? If bluestreak position among autobots is anything to go by it may be a con and its between seekers so maybe another seeker, I'd love to see a ghost screamer myself. received_580119189323815.jpeg

Hmmm take away the colours/heads and I see a Windcharger and a Tracks! Interesting, didn't realise Milne was doing the crossover as I gave up picking up the comics before the end of the previous IDW run. :(
    Yup! ;)
I don't even need to ask who they are for but I will need to know which Ebay sellers they came from? ;) :p

Word of warning - don't go to the bedroom and 'have a lay down for a minute' as that accidentally led to 2 hours! FFS!   Been so tired lately, perhaps now I'm off it's my body telling me to catch up? Or I'm old? One of the two! :D

Well part of it will recoup the bills from getting a couple of household appliances fixed, which ran to nearly £200. I’ll probably still get Optimus Primal eeven at that shitty £60 price, and I caved and got Doubledealer yesterday from Smyths. Not transformed him yet though. Too hot to do puzzles.

Earthrise Prime Nonnef upgrade kit arrived from The Glaug today, which is nice. I can’t install it yet as I still don’t have ER Prime, but I have assembled Roller. I went for a grey one since there’s a blue one coming with the Centurion Drone accessory kit.

Really great quality, as you would expect.

I was extremely excited to see these coming from Dr Wu on Oh My Primus’ Instagram feed too :D

Two colours, £11 for four. I will, Of course, buy as many of these as I am physically able to. I’ll probably get some and paint them red too, for MTMTE/LL reasons.

Speaking of good news, the XTB Quintesson is going to be £94 from Oh My Primus (not TFS-Express, whoops) which is maybe as cheap as it’s likely to be. Seems like we’re getting a better deal than the rest of the world, but then TFSource aren’t half some overcharging bastards.

Looking at Milne’s new Arcee design...

This mold sprang immediately to mind (although the legs and backpack would need work) for a custom -

I love how he keeps playing music to take the piss out of situations.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought of tlk barry. I think it's the chest, it's a similar look.

    Happy birthday @Braddock

Wait maybe for the announced deluxe, which should be a bit better
