Breath of the wild still.

Finished the Rito divine beast. Much easier than the wraith in the Zora divine beast. I attacked its ankles like I was playing Devastation.

Rivioli's updraft is handy, already activated a tower I couldn't get to. Noticed that it gets deactivated in some puzzles... That ruins the satisfaction of building up your character IMO.

Feeling like I might try something else at this point. I also got dragon quest 11 when I got the switch but that would just be more fantasy styled gaming.

 

I went through Destroy All Humans some more and aced every Armageddon challenge along with 100%ing all of the mission objectives. The only trophies I really need left to platinum the game are the racing, rampage, and abduction challenges, but yeah, that ain't happening. I think I'm just going to go back into AC Odyssey.

 

I've never had the patience to find all the beads. Kudos!

 

So I never played attention to DAH, and I guess thats because as a kid I confused it with XCOM and thought they had the same type of gameplay. Holy hell am I having a blast watching videos of the new remake. It’s looks like so much fun. That said, the next game I get will still be Ghosts of Tsushima.

 

I'm holding off on both TLoU2 and Ghosts until they are ported over to the PS5. Well that or maybe I'll put them on my Xmas list.

 

Last night I started up a career in PC Building Simulator and I had to force myself to stop playing. I could have easily spent hours just taking apart PC's and putting them back together.

 

Just finished Ghost of Tsushima last night. The choice you are given at the end had me just sitting there for a good ten minutes staring at my screen before I could make up my mind. It was DEEP!!!! Such a great game!!!! Have a few loose ends to tie up so that I can get the platinum trophy.

 

New GTA dlc dropped today. A ton of new cars, including one that you could win for free at the Casino.

And I won it, lol.

 

I've been playing No Man's Sky the last few days. Finally got myself a rover, and finally unlocked the blueprints for solar panels and batteries. I must say, I love having a rover, and I wish I had gotten one ages ago. It's a lot of fun to drive in 1st person.

 

lol GTAV actually had something free for once? I got so far behind because I had a life outside of the game that I got stuck in a rut of never being able to afford to do anything. I tried the business stuff, but you have to play on a public server to even do it, so I gave up since I hate playing on public servers.

 

I try to avoid public lobbies like the plague too. But there's a lucky wheel you can spin once a day for prizes (clothing, cash, RP) and the grand prize is a car. The car changes every week. This is actually the 2nd free car I've won, lol.

As for money, my friend and I just take advantage of the double and triple rewards gametypes, especially when they can be played with just 2 players.

 

Alien Isolation: this alien has been yanking me up into the ceiling like 4 times in a row now. I got the blaring alarms and strobe lights going, smoke & sparks everywhere, so it’s easy to miss the tell-tale sign of its drool dripping from the ceiling. I’m just like, don’t you have other people to go eat??

In fact it does have other people to eat. And those same people have been shooting me. On the hard setting even one lucky head shot is enough to kill me. This game is tough! But I did finally make it through the area that was giving me trouble.
I maaaay have sicced the alien on them by tossing noise makers & stuff at them. A few times anyway. By the time I finally got past everything, it was a perfect run and I evaded everything without using any of my gear or killing anyone.

But apparently the alien likes to come into previously safe, off-limits areas on the hard setting!! I’m in Seegson Synthetics, just about to wake up an Android to get some help, and it came right into the room! Never had that happen before.

 

I tried playing Outbreak at a friend's house last night. He bought it for Xbone, and it's 3 Outbreak games in one, for $15. It was one of the worst gaming experiences of my life! The game is a poor ripoff of oldschool Resident Evil. The in game lighting is so dark, that you can't see anything most of the time. The controllers are so bad, that we just wanted to give up trying to play the game after a few minutes. The game interface and item menu screens were just terrible terrible terrible...

The best thing about those games, and is it makes pretty much every other game seem so much better.

 

Finally played Superhot. It was dissapointingly short though a unique experience. I've also begun learning how to use pirahna plant in SSBU.

 

6 Chapters into Yakuza 3, I really need to go back to Zero.

 

Super Metroid. I tried the electric turret trick on Draygon and holy cow was this a zillion times easier. Thanks for the tip you brilliant people.

 

I know, RIGHT! I wish I had known about that 25 years ago as it would have saved me a lot of screaming time.

 

One of the Xbox Yu-Gi-Oh games. I've forgotten how the whole 'draw the card you need' is an anime thing and in the game itself you'll just clutch onto three-star wimps while your AI opponent somehow boosts like five powerful monsters to the field in one turn. Gosh I'm out of touch with this series.

 

Its an awesome tip. Draygon was dead in a matter of seconds. I've got the space jump, spring ball and several missile, life and bomb packs.. I need to go back for a reserve pack i saw but couldn't get too before. I also don't get how to get these missiles shoved into a wall that show secret arrows on it. There's no place to run. Booo.
