C33306D6-B6B0-456D-B828-2859313D8926.jpeg I know some people saw that TE-01 is not as good as an MP44 because of its lack of poseability well take that I say!!!

That trick has indeed been a nice way of getting the legs up, but it does look very off.

It reminds me of the old Beast Wars CG models and the obvious clipping of joints.

Is there any place that has this in stock with the alternate head included? Not a pre-order but actually able to buy now.

To be fair though, MP-44's leg can't get that high, at least not without pushing it beyond the natural stopping point for the ratchet and risking damage.

I don’t think it came with the black version did it? Or was that an early model?

True, but a pose like that, the ab crunch can help you pull it off, something TE-01 can't do without untabing part of the hip section.

Sadly no, you have to find someone that’ll be willing to part ways with the alt movie head, luckily I was able to find someone, I was team first batch

Yeah there's no denying MP-44 has better articulation, but TE-01 isn't as limited as some people think. To hear them you'd think it was a statue! I actually prefer it in many respects, although MP-44 has the edge when viewed front on or slightly off-axis. I ended up with both anyway, but I have three versions of the TE mould I like it that much.

TE01 is not static, but it has less articulations than most of the figures outthere. Anyway, TE01 is a solid and durable figure, with an excelent quality. The last only One and Great figure of cartoon OP. :lol

Can't say I agree with that. I own what would arguably be considered to be the most toon accurate representations of the entire season one cast, most of the new movie characters and some season two and TE-01 is at least as articulated as most of them (if not more so).

this argument had been done to death. Yes TE prime has all the range of motion but that motion has as much subtlety as a brick. Can you move the arm forward... sure, can you move it where you want it ? No, not unless thats on one of the specifically widely spaced ratchet teeth. Legs.. Same problem. head... no neck. Added the lack of ab crunch & Thigh swivel, yes I know he has knee swivel and no it's not the same.

Each of these things on their own are minor problems when achieving posing. All of them together and he's awkwardly clumsy and lacking in personality.

None of this takes away from what is an incredibly well engineered and built figure but to say it stands up with articulation is to overlook the massive leaps forward that MP44 & MS prime have over it.

It may be that the argument you're having has been 'done to death', but it's not the discussion at hand. The poster I replied to said TE-01 has less articulation than most figures, which simply isn't true (I'm not discounting the subjective finesse of the ratchets, which actually aren't that bad at all post V1; just as many detents as the other figures I own which use ratchets in similar places). If you're comparing it to MP-44 onwards it has less articulation for sure, but let's not pretend that the super-articulated figures aren't still in the minority. They certainly don't represent 'most figures'.
