In other news (aside from this sweltering heat) this guy got delivered today!



He was originally shipped to my work address during lockdown, I’d forgotten to change the address before it dispatched.



After a few weeks of back & forth with Games Workshops customer service (they aim to reply to each message within 10 days!) it finally arrived  

 

Depends what you want to do, I usually just use cotton buds dipped in isopropyl and rub whatever paint app I'm trying to remove. An old toothbrush is also a good tool to have handy. Larger or tougher paint may need a Soak first but will probably still need the same rub treatment afterwards to shift the paint.

With sideswipe I'd probably advise just taking off the battle damage and faction symbol so they don't show through the paint but wouldn't remove anything further as it'll take a lot of effort and make little to no difference to the overall result.

 

So this was today's big news. One down and four more to go.

 

Yeah, I shoulda been more confident on my pick for it being Hothouse but having heard about leaked images of Roritchi my faith wobbled.

 

Is it just me that finds it odd hothouse is in pyro colours and airwave is in iron fist colours?

 

Yeah just give me that X-Men Transformer x-over.

So where was he previewed or did it just suddenly pop up as pre-orders?

Did your ebay state payment in 48 hours? If so, you are within your right to tell him to sling his hook and relist.

If not, and you are happy to wait for the echeque, go ahead but make it completely clear you will not post anything until the cheque clears and you have the money. If he's not happy with that, he can sling his hook. If you ain't happy with an echeque, tell him he he should pay upon auction win or he shouldn't bid if he can't pay.

But either way, don't let him bully you into holding onto something in case he changes his mind. He pays or he loses it.

 

I just happened to see the ID Toys Pre-order pop at the top of my FB feed when I went there to see if the Pulse unboxing vid was up yet, and I'm still waiting for that unboxing to see if they do a different tank mode for him! Rassum Frassum, get it together, Hasbro!
It seems he got posted to Instagram on the Hasbro Pulse at the allotted hour (even though the schedule said Hasbro Pulse).

Hothouse ordered. Still wondering how best to lay hands on all the other gear we have seen though. What a clusterfuck it is acquiring mass produced children's toys. Hilarious.

 

As I don’t venture much outside this thread (it’s best that way, honest!) do we have any dates for siege bee and sound wave, or are anywhere doing preorders? Please don’t say I’ve already missed them!

 

With them being "Netflix Inspired" Walmart exclusives I believe the majority of us are hoping that Smyths will get them in as they have the first Netflix wave but AFAIK that has not been confirmed anywhere as yet.
If the theory is right that these would've originally been in some kind of latter wave of Earthrise before Pandemic shenanigans then hopefully there'll be plenty of stock of them to get Fan Channelled globally, though worst case scenario it may be possible to pick up the Takara releases of them that we know are due early next year.

 

Thanks for posting that, it reminded me to check the listing I had in my watch list for the toon version and as there were only 2 left I had to jump on it.

I have the G1 reissue PO'd at Kapow so my G1 toy version will be that.

I cant replicate your pic with the FC version, will have to use either Chigurgh or the Siege version
