4 Heart seller is their Company Front? So low rating.

 

These fronts that KO companies use are pretty much disposable, they'll switch it up on the first sign of trouble, ratings don't matter much to them. Anyway the listing does look somewhat legit looking at the reviews but still, buy at your own risk. You can also find 2-3 other sellers by searching using the stock images.

 

Yeah, I did both photo and keyword search, only 3 sellers. Also the cheapest I found for the limb bots are 39 RMB, which is 15 RMB more than the regular G1 coloured ones, which is the same difference on SirToys. Was hoping they'd be around the same price as the G1. At least the seller I found is 4-diamond rating, so should be OK.

Will prob get 1 or 2 limbs. See how. May also get a cheaper G1 limb to paint.

Official POTP deluxe Jazz is 49 RMB on Taobao, and some of the Hasbro voyager Torso bots are like 45-65 RMB. So considering making my own combiner.

Yeah thanks, I've been searching for them too. Not many sellers seem to have them either, maybe it's too new or maybe they don't bother pushing these physical-retail toys online.

 

I gave up on trying to get to grips with Taobao. Not worth the hassle for occasional purchases but I can see that more prolific collectors would make good savings.

Anybody hear from their sellers as to when their Fanstoys FT-43 Dunerider preorder will be in stock?

 

I completed my first Taobao to Bhiner shipment today and wanted to relay the results. I've got two other earlier shipments that are still en route as I chose slower shipping options.

8/15/19: Preordered from bibic $4.40 (Y30.00 Preorder + Y0.90 Alipay)
7/14/20: Reached out to him asking if it was in stock.
7/14/20: He replied with the link and said to order but not to pay.
7/15/20: Ordered but didn't pay. Asked him to adjust the price.
7/15/20: He adjusted the price and asked me to pay.
7/15/20: Preorder balance was paid.
7/16/20: Domestic shipping to Bhiner warehouse.
7/17/20: Arrived at Bhiner warehouse.
7/20/20: Bhinder emails saying it arrived and was checked in with pic on a scale at 0.75kg.
7/20/20: Requested Bhiner prepare for international shipping.
7/24/20: Followed up with Bhinder customer support as there had been no response. This was odd as the last two ordered didn't require this.
7/24/20: Bhiner CS responded it's ready for international shipping.
7/25/20: China Post is cheapest, but USPS is slightly more, so opt for that thinking it'll be quicker. $24.95 delivery, $0.92 handling, and $25.87 total listed on Bhiner invoice, but $27.21 charged to PayPal. Unsure of the $1.35 different but it's about 5% so perhaps a PayPal goods and services charge. Bhiner says actual weight 0.9kb, volume weight is 2.5 kg, longest side is 37cm. They provided a USPS number but it never went active. Did not request reboxing as pic of domestic shipping box seemed good.
7/25/20: Unknown what date or what carrier it left Bhiner warehouse.

8/7/20: Package arrived at DHL in USA, southern California.
8/9/20: Pacakge arrived at DHL in northern California.
8/12/20: Package handed off to USPS.

8/13/20: Package delivered. DHL lists the package at 1.9447lb or 0.88kg. Package had white plastic bag neatly tapped with DHL label and USPS label over it. DHL tracking number wasn't provided to me and USPS tracking number was different that what Bhinder did provide to me. Inside shipping box was not the same domestic shipping box when it arrived at Bhiner. Shipping box had a label on it Bhiner order number, name of employee?, V: 2.5kh, A: 0.9kg, D: 37*26*13cm. Corner of shipping box was slightly crumpled. Inside the box there was empty space for the Magnum box to slide around, but there was some amount of bubble wrap to protect it. Magnum box had another layer of bubble wrap tightly around it and neatly tapped down, which I believe was from the domestic shipping box. Magnum has the clear plastic bag around it from Fans Toys. I haven't yet opened it to check if the Magnum box or Magnum himself is damaged. From the outside, it doesn't seem like it.

Summary costs
Preorder: $4.40 (Y30.00 Preorder + Y0.90 Alipay)
International Shipping: $24.95 delivery, $0.92 handling, $1.35 unknown but assumed to be a PayPal charge.
Total $106.06

Bottom line: I'm satisfied with Bhiner and will use them again, depending on how my other two as yet to be received orders turn out. Certainly a better option that Taobao's warehouse and sales tax. I like Bhiner simple interface and email notifications when stuff arrives and when I can pay for shipping. It's nice that I can store stuff for 180 days, but I doubt I'd take advantage of it. Good range of shipping options. Good customer service and in English. Do not like the repacking from domestic to international shipping boxes when it was not requested. Do not like the differences domestic shipping weight and internal shipping weight, when it seems unnecessary. Do not like lack of working tracking numbers. All that being said, I only used Bhiner for warehousing and international shipping, so I expect them to need to make a profit somehow, and assume the markup in shipping weight is their (scam?) way of doing it. Just my opinion.

 

This is not surprising. This is common enough.

They charge you the volumetric weight based on the box the seller sends, but packs it into a smaller box before sending to you, so that they save on shipping, but they do not pass the savings to you.

You can tell the seller to pack as compactly as possible.

I have a preorder I'm paying with Rabbit Toy Store. No preorder discount per se but I'm thinking the difference is paid by red envelope? How do I redeem use this? I remember someone mentioned this but can't find the post or explanation as to how it works. Any help please would be appreciated

You can try and see if you can receive red packets. It is funds transfer from one AliPay account to another, if I'm not wrong.

If not, you can request for partial refund.
