Still waiting on TCP to get him and Scorponok in.

Sometimes paying for stuff ahead of times sucks, especially when brick and mortor stores get them in first.

 

I've seen Sky Lynx a whole lot more than I ever saw Jetfire(all of one time).

 

@Apollux Any word on Transformers characters that aren’t from G1-BW that could appear in Kingdom? And I’m not talking about core class or fossilizers

 

There's also talk of a ER Magnus, anyone here have any concrete info on that rumor, be it confirmation or debunking?

 

Not sure if there are any in the mainline, maybe selects/exclusives if we're lucky.

In Earthrise we saw several of the characters released in siege get redone with Earth modes. However, not all of them. Are any of the Kingdom released earth modes of siege guys we didn't get in Earthrise?

 

I feel ya on that, I've got a few things in at chosen prime that I have to wait on because I don't want to pay $20 in shipping haha

 

I don't think there are, but there may be some package refresh items from ER (think Astrotrain, who was in Siege and ER)

Always possible through Selects/Exclusives/Netflix line though.

 

I hope after Kingdom and the S1 cast of BW gets updated we can get the S1 cast of Armada done, it's only 8 characters total which is like 1.5 waves of product. Then the Commander Class could be Tidal Wave since he seems to be a popular vote for a Commander class after Star Saber.

 

I'd love Armada to be done but I think they should get all of Beast Wars out there first.

 

Well Generations has been G1 heavy for the past 14 years give or take, WFC tackled G1 to BW almost in chronological order, they could keep that trend with the next Trilogy being mostly BW with G1 mixed in for those who are very anti BW etc, BW, BW ll, BW Neo, ending with the good aspects of Beast Machines then on to a new Trilogy that's RID, Armada, Energon, Cybertron etc

 

2022 is Armada's 20th anniversary and is the series that revitalized the brand and brought in an enormous wave of new fans.

As I said, 8 guys isn't an entire line of releases, there's more than enough room for the third or fourth or fifth release of your favorite G1 character as well as Beast Wars characters. (We can barely get late Japanese G1, highly doubt we'll see anything from the Japanese exclusive BW shows that aren't easy repaints)

 

You know...technically, they could repaint both bat Primal and gator Megatron as BW Soundwave...

 

That would also be fine. Though if they can't do both I'm fine with them choosing the bat.

Kinda like how Icebird could be both a Polar Claw repaint (which would be a polar bear repaint of a polar bear) or share the mold with Prowl (who was also a white owl...)

 

If we ever get a full BW line again, the Mutants would make great fodder for BW Triple Changers.

 

I do hope Armada will be luckier then Beast Wars when it comes to having its 20th anniversary celebrated in some fashion. It wouldn't feel right to just bypass the anniversary of the line that pretty much brought back both Autobots and Decepticons full force,and introduced a lot of characters and concepts that lasted for years. Sure both the anime and line weren't perfect but hey neither were the G1 comics and shows back in the 80's and it did manage to leave a big impact all the same.

I mean like you said it shouldn't be that hard to make all of the season 1 cast of Armada at least and fill the remaining slots with any major G1 left to update for the 2022 line whatever that might be. I mean if they have no issues doing a line that has both G1 and BW characters in Kingdom then surely they can do a similar thing for Armada along with any other TF era.

 

My only concern for Armada's eventual revival are the Minicons. The WFC Micromaster s were pretty weak for $5 a figure. Battle Masters were mostly worse for $6 a figure. How much will the Minicons need to be before they're at the same quality as the ones from 2002?

Primus help us if Hasbro tries to replicate the pack-in Minicons. Deluxe would need to be smaller than Cliffjumper or they will need to make Hot Shot and the others Voyagers.

 

Hopefully the Partners are sold separately. The only Minicon teams I want updated are the three Weapon-combiner teams.

 

Maybe if they sell them as a Deluxe like the SS Arcees.

 

If that list of leaks is true I’m very disappointed. The main selling point is supposed to be the beasts and we get all these guys.
