Last week i search for a WFC Scorponk on ebay and found this absolutely stunning painted piece from Deceptipunk.
How do you think about that paintjob and do you would be interessted in a Series production piece from Hasbro as an Haslab project in co-operation with Deceptipunk as paint-master!
    Please let me know that!

While the paint is fantastic, I dislike battle damage.

I dislike most panel lining jobs on TF figures as opposed to Gundams.

However, this one was tastefully done and doesn't create a garish contrast difference.

Seeing paint like this really shows how many details this mold has that aren't highlighted in stock form. Looks absolutely fantastic.

What is the paint technique that was used? Just a black wash? Looks so awesome.

While it looks like a black wash was used, it also appears to have some silver dry-brushing, and several areas painted in highlighting colors that aren't part of the original colors the toy came in. Very intricate painting to say the least.

I've done some painting, but nothing as good as that Scorponok. You can see the Trypticon I did below.
