They are also currently working on a revision for their Blackarachnia. It'll have brand new, fully posable spider legs.

So same as most. Both hips misaligned. The fix was NOT fun. My thumbs are sore and it took me almost 2 hours but it’s all fixed. No damage to the pins, no looseness. Looks FANTASTIC. Lots of thoughtful things going on with this figure like the bonnet piece that moves back to allow for head articulation. The back comes mistransformed which initially impeded the fix until I watched a video to see how it was supposed to be. Just those bottom flaps that need to be folded back so the buttflaps can be pushed back. I love him so far. Definitely taking Sphinx’s place. Sorry Sphinx :(

    Damn two hours?

You can also engage the ab crunch to fold the lower body down for easier access

Thanks for the tip! To be fair I took frustration breaks and had other things to do so it was probably closer to 45 min stretched out over 2 hours.

The little part kept slipping out of my hand. Just removed the pins after that. I know a lot of members here did it without a sweat, but not me.

Yeah not all of us were born with equally steady fingers. Personally I was dropping pieces and screws all over the place the whole time. That's why I'm not a surgeon.

But isn't that screwhole covered by the blue waist flap?

I mean, hell, it's a robot. Is that kind of detail really that objectionable anyway?

If all these people are in an uproar over a 'surgery' fix that can be done 1000x easier with the most minor aesthetic hit ever by just rotating the fucking leg... OMG

Just got mine in from showz today. Luckily I have a bunch of watch repair and computer tools that came in handy. Had both legs fixed in about 10 minutes.

Got mine in today too, looks pretty great but both legs are wrong, I'll have to wait until I have some time to fix em up. Joints and paint seem pretty good so far

I have a watch tool kit that that came with a vise I used to remove pins but I didn’t need it for this fix. The repair on this was simple enough.

Got mine today, had to switch both hios, but it was easy peasy. Great figure, ironically my Hunk came today as well and I much prefer the TE over the FT in many ways. I really hope TE continues releasing g1 masterpiece.

100% agree. I really like Speed Star way more. He’s way more poseable and his engineering is way less clumsy and it just makes him more fun to pose. More accessories too.

Just opened this figure up and for the price, excellent figure. I have a couple of questions though. Did this figure come with instructions and a collector card (because mine didn't)? Also what is the best autobot emblem to put on this figure and where can I get one?

Get yourself some water slide decal on ebay to avoid error like mine. Turn out the figure is coat in a layer of paint that I accidentally chip some portion on his chest when apply dry transfer decal

Dude! TE is my new Favorite G1.. Love this guy's look! I am tempted to order him now, before the 2nd Batch with fixes.. So tempted.
But, i bought TE01 Ver. 2 so i figure I will just stick with Tradition.. Been happy so far.
    But very hard to wait..
