Seekers for days...

 

I actually think not mentioning it before added a sense of mystery to the story thus far, which I'm a fan of. Also, nice work on this entry!

 

Hey guys, I gave myself a break from comic creating this week, so I thought I'd share some early concept art today instead!

Two of my very first comic panel practices - featuring Starscream and Cloud Chaser's unstable friendship. (She used to work under him. It'll all be explained in Book One.) You can see her earlier design was...a bit different, lol.

Concept for Blurr, a villain I'll be using eventually in one of my stories. He's one of my favorites antagonists, ngl.

Rodimus and Predaca doing their favorite activity - singing karaoke at the Cafe   She's a good singer too, surprise, surprise.

One of my favorite character designs - this guy's a Decepticon assassin.

Thundercracker makes himself some human friends. You'll meet them in later chapters!

I'm blown away by everything here. The karaoke art is fabulous. I can't say that I'm surprised that Blurr is an antagonist. (I'm so thankful he is.)

 

Pretty shocked you made Blurr of all bots a villain in his own right. Can't imagine what happened that made him that way to begin with. guess we'll find out eventually.

 

Cloud Chaser makes me laugh. She seems so spontaneous and combustible.   The lighting and texture is amazing on those two pictures.

Blurr looks like a mean bot. The X's over the Autobot logo eyes are a nice touch.

That picture of Rodimus and Predaca is amazing. So full of emotion and the colors really pop.

I have to admit, Thundercracker is my favorite. Then again, I'm biased, since he's my favorite Seeker and all.

Yeah he's a fun antagonist. Somehow I saw RID Blurr, a happy, spunky, nice dude, and thought "Ah perfect, villain material."   Honestly I'm not even sure where I got the idea to make him turn evil. I dunno...I'm a writer, things just happen.

You'll find out eventually....mwahahaha.

Thanks! I love hearing what people think of my stuff. Glad to hear TC is one of your favorites; his character will be explored a little more once we get to some later chapters.

Looks like a nasty version of Rescue Bots Blurr. Is that what you were going for?

 

Ha, good catch. I don't watch that show but his Rescue Bots character had a few cameos in RID when he visited Bee's team (apparently they both exist in the same universe) and that's what made me familiar with his design.

 

It looks like we're getting some action!

But yes, Predaca's claw's wouldn't make bad weapons, for sure. And of course that tail could slice off someone's head.  

 

Me neither. Especially since he was voiced by Dwayne Johnson.

 

I hate it every single time they kill cliff in every single movie!     And while I hated putting that on I couldn’t express what I was feeling, better.
And how did I not know that he was voiced by Dwayne Johnson until now!

I know...just when Cliff couldn't get any cooler.   Honestly, he was my favorite character in Prime, which is kinda a shame because he's only in like two episodes lol...
And he's dead in my story too, since Starscream kills him in a similar manner as he does in Prime. Bummer, I know, but it plays a significant role in Starscream's continued redemption in Book Two. I might have some flashbacks where he gets to appear somewhere down the line maybe  

 

Dunno about Prime and Bumblebee incarnations, but it seems that people tend to forget that, for example, G1 toon and TFA Cliffjumpers fared much better, with both of them not only surviving, but also getting the long end of the stick.
So it's not all THAT bad for Cliff.
