Some time ago, I told Mega that they didn't need Call of Duty as a brand to sell really nice military themed sets. Just give us a red team and blue team or some green guys and go at it.

It's like they hear what I say and completely misunderstand why I say it.



The build, though simple, looks fine but why regress with the figures?

Wow I was actually able to find the figure I wanted from this series! She's pretty goddamn fantastic actually.

 

Sorry I don't follow - is this Halo, CoD? What series? She looks pretty bad-ass, now I want to look for one but I don't even know what I'd be looking for. Thanks!  

 

Gotcha. She's the UNSC Marine Sniper from Halo Heroes Series 12, or I guess it's just called the "Halo Infinite" series or something?

I bought three of them when they dropped to $3 on clearance (and I found out she has a proper helmet).
I don't even collect HALO figures, and I thought this one was awesome.

 

I think she is my favorite Halo minifig. I spent $20 on Ebay for the first one because I had to have it. I did manage to pick up two more of her for retail in the wild over the weekend. The only thing I don't like about her is she makes the regular UNSC marines look like crap.

 

The helmet and shoulder pauldrons suggests she's ODST. I don't have any other Halo Infinite stuff, but taking a look at the figures, her pauldrons are different than the other Marines and her helmet is just straight up an ODST one.

I want to get the Warthog Rally and just fill up the slots with Marines, but now I want more ODST like the sniper. Camo and all.

Glad I decided to use BrickSeek to figure out which Walmart I should hit on my lunch hour. I was able to find the Alien Eggs Series 2 (showed more than 6 available on Brickseek) at this Walmart and got me a set. So glad series 1 was not restocked.

 

So the old listing works? Interesting.

Yup, I used SKU 958391735, which pops up as series 1 on Brickseek but it looks like it works for series 2 as well.

 

Neat. I had hoped that would be the case when I went hunting this last weekend but coming across a set of the green eggs at one store and finding th at another that wasn't even listed on brickseek made me question my hypothesis.
