Unite warriors motormaster also seems to suffer from a very similar problem (brittle due to his swirly gunmetal plastic)

 

I guess a perfect truck mode, matrix chamber and opening hands aren't cool enough for an upgrade. Lets see if you can resist the Netflix version. That's the one I'm getting. Also, you're just a tad late with these observations.

 

What I don’t understand is why they say anything. If you can’t/aren’t going to share it, why post about it?

 

Let's hope the final Netflix OP is color corrected, the prototype shown by Takara had a darker paint scheme but overall wasnt better, he needs proper color molded parts for the hands, biceps, inner legs etc

Maybe there will be an animation style version similar to the Walmart 35th minus the cell shade

 

But his inner leg was blue, which probably means the same for his hands. His Biceps might stay blue...but it is a test shot. The ER version had 3 incorrect test shots with variences between them. Bumblebee also had a testshot with yellow nose, So we'll see. Personally I just want brighter eyes, and hope upon hope for yellow eyes.

I was just thinking that Ironhide might be a good candidate for getting a 3rd party upgrade/filler kit. Even if he doesn't get one I think I'll like having him.

To me the biggest issue I have the figure is the Cybertronian wheels, not the exposed feet or the partsforming.

 

I came to this conclusion back in December or January. I had posted these pictures back then...

Yeah, I was on the fence with the Seekers (but ultimately came through for the F-15 alt-modes), and I'm really not digging Ironhide's slipshod "Earth" mode with massive feet on the rear end, Cybertronian wheels and clip-on roof, which makes the van ultimately look worse than the Cybertronian version (which is at least a cool looking armored vehicle that's pretty cohesive on its own), but the one replacement I'm fully on board with is Optimus. I have the Alternate Universe version right now (and recently ordered the regular one), and I was blown away by how they handled the truck parts in robot mode. Making them fold into the chest to completely hide away is so satisfying, and the little tiny bumper on his ass is so much less intrusive than the massive one on the Classics mold.

The lack of paint on the trailer is the only real sore spot for me, and even that is completely fixed by the reprolabels set.

 

I mourn wave 4 if the rumors are true then... Earthrise in my opinion is a great continuation from Siege that had a lot of fun surprises in store but ultimately suffered from circumstances outside of anybody's control.

True and it's being rumored now that wave 4 was never planned but I'm just dissapointed because i was hoping wave 4 was where we saw the last few siege figures get their earth modes but i guess there is a possibility that could be in Kingdom.
