Pricing may be unclear at XTB, but retailers seem pretty sure about it. Once again TF Source leading the charge.

I think I've bought most/all XTB releases in the last year or 2 (including already paying for their jacked up Paean and Scourge). I'm the target market for this, but it just feels like jumping the shark.

 

3 different judges would've been cool and make sense... or 1 judge and 2 guards maybe??? But for 1 figure? No way.

 

They raised the reissue price for both Trailbreaker, and everything else. There's no reason to be surprised at this point.

 

I personally don't see a problem with a non transforming figure costing XXX.

But not all non transforming figures are alike. Figures from Flame Toys for example are exquisitely painted, and have EXTREME articulation. They are works of art in my opinion. There's nothing like them in the Transformers world.

Then we have figures from Three A, which IMO are also worth it. They are a step down from Flame Toys, but their engineering is still top notch.

XTB however is selling a spinning talking egg for Three A prices and that's truly ROFL.

Hate to break it to you, but FT isn't the Cadillac of MPs either, their fans are simply sheep much like Apple or Samsung fanboys and blindly buy and praise everything they do. XTB certainly has their figures that are as premium as any other MP company, but their pricing on this figure regardless of any "premium" branding or bells and whistles is a joke.

If you look closely you'll notice the "best before end" date. These will be gone off by Christmas so will be on reduced to clear sections everywhere. Shame Overheat didn't come with one too seeing as he is also a dairy product.
