Man, that Baroness looks so good... I assume I'll end up getting one with pink hair and some gold bling...I just hope she has the same glasses and face sculpt...
Honestly, the purple/pink hair in the box art is just lighting I think, though I could see a single pack having the gold accents
Looking at both promotional images, it's not lighting. She will indeed have purple highlights or tips. But it's not like they won't make a million Baronesses in the future anyway so a version you prefer will show up probably sooner than you think.
Use a hair dryer to heat up the biceps; should pop off relatively easily once you get the plastic warm.
Do these recent Gamestop preorder expected dates sound correct at all? Dates are roughly the same as "cmdstore"
Well the box art is one, but there is another. You can see the purple on the edge of her hair (though admittedly, it is a tad hidden). Just look up Baroness here: G.I. JOE Characters, Action Figures, Action Heroes List - G.I. JOE Hasbro
No doubt she was designed to have purple highlights in the hair as there is no other purple in the art for it to be lighting. I hope they keep the purple, it both looks cool and will further differentiate it from the Target version.
I'm just now learning the names of some of my favorite childhood joes. Chuckles became another of my favorite companions due to his cool shirt and molded holster. Any character that had a faux holster became important, it allowed me to pretend he still had a side arm. My older brother loved to chew on/up all my weapons and vehicle missiles, like some kind of monkey squirrel.
I inherited most of my joes from my brother. I remember having marauders low-light, orange alley viper and a dial tone from late in the line that was sci-fi/space themed
I just watched this video review of Chuckles. It seems I used to think his knife holster was a gun or some such. I was between 3-5 years old at the time but I can recollect things from a very early age. I always wondered how much assembly something like the Pogo took for my Father the night before Christmas. I remember him having to put a few vehicles together for me. Were they like kits in bags?
They required some assembly, but nothing too intricate. Not like a model or anything. I remember them being fun to assemble. I didn't have it, but now I do have it. I couldn't pass up that awesome looking thing. LOL.
Nah but some kid brought the Rolling Thunder to school and on that day it was the greatest thing I had ever seen in my life
