I think If the lines had been inked in with a faded, warm grey and had the red parts been subtly airbrushed a tad with matte orange(on the parts that light would hit), it would’ve improved the look a lot.
Not just "now", Target's been stocking that Goku on and off for like a year. Been a while since I saw one at mine (granted I haven't been in for a while either, but wouldn't be surprised to find one now). Guess it's just spreading to more stores now though. Seems they've expanded recently with other Bandai imports like Star Wars models too.
I saw the Saiyan Raised on Earth version there almost a year ago. I don't think they were selling well, but I haven't been to that Target since the pandemic.
My local seller told me that there's thousands or Rised on earth that aren't sold because of pandemic. He got a box of 30 figures... And sell it enterely in one day to a customer that wanted to speculate with the price. Rised on earth now is a cheap figure, with tons of the stock... But that stock is bought massively by the speculators... I always think the same: if you have doubts about a SHF in pre-order or with a cheap price, buy it anyway. Always you will have time to sell it later... But it's very difficult to find a figure at a fair price once all the stock is in hands of speculators.
Not that I know of. I think there might have been a prototype, but I don't think they ever released it.
The turtles are amazing, just be careful with the shoulders, you can chip the paint because there's not too many space in the articulation.
Yeah mine would occasionally get a Nendo but it's a _dry_ area for collectibles that aren't Funko Pops.
Saw 5 of those Gokus today. Surprised to see them in back with the Pops and the Necas instead of in the aisle with the model kits.
Is Goku on Earth the only SHF being found at Target or are there other SHF figures being found there too?
It seems to vary by Target. One Target has them in the Gundam model kit section, one Target has them with the NECA toys (though, they don't have a model kit shelf, so that could be why), and one had them in both places. Three Gokus were with the model kits and two were with the NECA stuff. If I wasn't getting rid of mY DB Figuarts, I would totally buy him, especially since I've still go the staff unopened that was waiting for him.
For me, there was legit a wheeled tower-like shelf in front of the electronics department. Legit could make out some My Hero Academia and NECA figures, but the point of the story... *poof* No Goku. Might just end up checking Barnes and Noble on an off day. Got my King Piccolo from there, so I wouldn't doubt if they get Goku in.
One question, what's happening with Goku Raised On Earth? Lately I see many pictures on Instagram like "uoh! I bought two!". I own two Gokus Raised on earth for the demoniacal fit heads, but I was wondering if people is getting crazy to buy it. I talked with my local seller, he said me that there's thousands off non sell stock because of the pandemic... The other day, one guy bought 30 units in one round while I was buying only one. Goku Raised (back) with DF Head & stick. Goku Raised with SSJB. And the body of SSJB has the DF Red God Head, because the body is lighter.
