A great action scene that you don’t wanna miss on the new My Little Pony/Transformers issue 1. Most fun you’ll have with a crossover you never expected to see

No, it's not just you. It's boring as fuck, just like Galaxies. The new status quo of IDW2 is just so far from anything resembling an engaging, interesting experience. It's as bland as can be. Even the art is flat and soulless.

TF 84 and TF vs Terminator are much better looking. The writing on the latter is kinda shit but the art is amazing. Though I do chuckle at that last panel. Hmmm, I wonder which of those Autobots is the original character? :lol

Guido and Milne continue to impress more whilst the ongoing is looking more like a wonkier, poor imitation of TFA's artstyle.

Man, I LOVE '84. What a wonderful series, gorgeous artwork by Guido. I get the monthly floppies but the TPB is pre-oredered already as well. That's going to be one gorgeous book! Hope they also include the #0 issue.

Punch needs an animated come back. I Like how it's the same art as the old comics.

I dunno, most of the other bots look more "traditional G1 filtered through Milne's sensibilities" then Arcee and Velocity (who???) look super late IDW aesthetic and feel out of place in that group shot. (it's all the points and kibble compared to the much cleaner overall silhouettes of Prime/BB/Ratchet/Wheeljack)

Gawd how does the art of IDW's new ongoing just keep getting worse? 84 and TF Vs Terminator on the other hand is looking great, always happy to see more Milne and Guido artwork. Seriously digging Milne's take on the original designs, and would love to see more of them in this style. :D

Bee struggling with Grimlock and asking Sarah to help is both hilarious and adorable.

I actually like I actually like the ongoing title but it's really hard to explain why IDW supposedly Flagship Transformers title has vastly inferior art to its side stories and limited miniseries. Is there a particular reason why Guido guidi can't do the ongoing series? Because that guy is freaking amazing. And Alex keeps on killing it as usual. I don't know.

I wasn't going to get the Terminator comic but that artwork is selling it to me!

Yeah the internal narration is absolutely unnecessary, when her body movements already say what she is feeling.
So wait, in this new continuity the existence of Primus is like, known by all, everyone knows they come from his spark when born?
No idea who Gauge is, but easily to tell a new non-toy character, so much less detail.

Wow that 84 preview brings back memories, the "Let the slaughter begin" line and even the first shots fired looks so much like in G1 Marvel #1. :D
