Just realised also from this picture the kneecaps have a nice extending feature when the legs are bent so the sculpt remains intact.

 

I don't care how terrible the transformation is. The fact that it CAN transform and look that good means it is boooouuuught.

I doubt this would be released before next summer. It was first shown off last March, with most of engineering appearing to have been done by then. This looks to have refined the engineering, and added a ton of detailing.

No, he got it in one of the Bay movies. At best it's because he's techically linked to that series. At worst it's becoming equipment fans apply to any Bumblebee. Like hammers for Magnus.

 

He had one in The Last Knight, and people think he looks cool with a hammer, so a lot of 3P companies have been giving their bees hammers. It's better than some of the made-up accessories that Toyworld has done at least.

 

If you think about it, even Optimus's now-famous axe followed the same principle. It was in one single episode of the G1 cartoon and then wasn't seen again until 2003, and was solely brought back because it was cool that one time. Now if a Prime doesn't have an axe you can hear 3D printers the world over whir to life within seconds.

 

Btw, this wasn't the hammer used in TLK, it is based on an unused hammer concept art designed for the Bumblebee movie. So at least this makes more sense than Toyworld's unneccessary weapons for Freedom Leader.
