Interesting. If they can make something as good as Arkham Asylum or City, and better than Origins or Knight, I'm sure I will enjoy it. In any case, I'm glad to see them move away from Arkham to something new.

 

If the Avengers game fails then this might be the redemption needed.

I’m split. On the one hand, Rocksteady could make a really awesome Suicide Squad game. On the other hand, I was kinda hoping they’d do something original or move out of the DC universe. I’m glad Superman is in it, but I don’t want to hunt Superman (I doubt it will be evil Superman, but as I’ve said before, I’m getting tired of seeing dark/evil Superman). I’ll need to see the trailer to decide how I feel for sure.

 

I was kinda hoping thinking it would be the whole Justice League, not just Supes, though he’ll definitely be the final boss.

 

There was supposedly a leak that says it’s the Suicide Squad vs the Justice League and not an evil Superman. I’m really interested to see this game get revealed at Fandome

 

Interesting, though I have a sneaking suspicion if the leak isn't true, this is either Bizarro or Cyborg Superman.

But to be honest I'd rather Rocksteady made a Superman game full-stop instead of an offshoot of Batman.

 

It's not Batman's fault he has the better villains and it'll probably be only 2 or 3 of his; Deadshot, Harley Quinn and maybe Killer Croc if they don't use King Shark.

While I can't deny Batman's amazing rogues gallery, there are other characters in the DC universe they could use. Why not do a Flash video game? Or even a Green Arrow one? The Question? Jonah Hex? Hell, for Hex all they have to do is rip off Red Dead Redemption and viola!

 

It will be totally awesome if the larger DC universe was involved.

 

Green Arrow would honestly be really easy and fun. You’d basically just be using the ranged combat system from Horizon Zero Dawn, and I’d be fine with that. I’d be perfectly happy with a Jonah Hex game that was basically just the same as Red Dead. Red Dead doesn’t own the Western genre, so it would be neat to get more Western games like in the mid-2000’s when you had Gun, Call of Juarez, and Red Dead Revolver all competing.

 

Should this game sell great and I have a feeling it will do that,then you better believe that there's going to be games based around the other DC heroes and villains. I get the feeling that this game is being done as a way to get mainstream gaming be on board with getting DC games that don't just focus on Batman and his villains. Rocksteady was able to bring Batman into the gaming world in an epic way so this is looking to be the same case with the other DC heroes here and I welcome it.

 

I'm with you on a Flash or Green Arrow game, but the Question wouldn't work and Jonah Hex is a possibly if it's not solely a western, like if it included the rest of the DCU.

Especially if they use the New 52 and Rebirth characters (Emiko Queen) and stories (Ninth Circle). I think a Jonah Hex game, simply titled Hex, would be better suited as a horror game, like here's this harded bounty hunter going up against witches, zombies, and demons from hell.
