I really wish I had picked this up when it was widely available.

I don't have the box in front of me, but it's the AOD one. The quality actually is quite good. Joints are tight (some too tight) and the fit is nearly perfect. And I finally got the chest piece out enough to transform it.

One of the pins that binds the engine to the leg actually slid out for no reason but I was able to get it back in. Something else to keep an eye on, but that should be an easy fix with varnish if prob occurs again.

It's definitely could be much worse for a KO. (i.e., the MP11/MP11sw KO...)

Glad you caught it! Definitely try to fix it before it slides out again. This same thing happened on mine - I didn't fix it and I didn't notice until sometime after it came out the second time. I never found the pin and wasn't able to salvage a replacement with the same diameter. I ended up thickening a smaller pin with floor polish.

Did anyone ever figure out how to take the loosey goosey backpack? The first time I owned this toy I didn't have this problem but on this version I just got from Robotoybase its really annoying.

Had my copy of this guy turn up today, was really looking forward to it as "The Girl Who Loved Powerglide" was the first Transformers VHS I had. He's quality, proper diecast in him, really nice stiff joints and just generally really impressive. Beat the heck out of the KFC Transistor I had some questions about. However, looking through the last couple of pages here I'm now a little worried as to which one I got. My box doesn't look like either of the KO pictures, it's got Dx9 on it, with the proper instructions and even the poster, so I'm assuming it's genuine

    How much was it it?
    What's the seller's name/link?

If it has DX9 Richthofen on the box then it is the genuine DX9 version.
The KO boxes are easy to identify.

59.99 from a user called GoWithgift. It's got that on it so looks like he's 100%, which I am loving

$60 is a great price for Richthofen but it's not an "insanely too good to be true" price, especially because it was KOed twice (on top of being reissued officially once). Congrats, you came up!

I just pulled mine out of storage after being boxed up for about 4 or 5 months (along with 97% of the rest of my MP collection) and it's still awesome. DX9 knocked it out the park so hard nobody else has even tried to make the character.

I really like Richthofen but I'd love to see someone do a version that transforms into an actual A-10, while still maintaining a toon accurate robot mode rather than the sort of vaguely A-10 thing the cartoon character turned into. It'd probably have to XTB - seems they're the only ones doing real world alt modes anymore.

I really wish someone would do a run of these in Cobra blue. I’m quite fond of my legends Viper.

Hey everyone. I just got a Richthofen in last night and was curious, has anyone found a solution for the weak ankle spurs? I've figured out a temporary fix for now by adding a sliver of styrene, but it needs to be removed for transformation.

Was hoping someone had a better, permanent, solution.

Mine came today from AliExpress true Wish-Toy Store, there are many KO on Ali but also some reissued 2nd batch it seems, they come without a box for normal retail price, here is mine and i'm confident its the real thing with a good painted girl that loves powerglide diecast in the arms and paint everywhere and the dx9 logo in the flightstand.
So pretty happy with lil old powerglide and a good figure after manhandling him for some time when i first got him out of the bubblewrap i was like hmmm i dunno but he deffinitly rocks!

Picked this one up from a UK based eBay seller a couple of months ago. Think it was the last one too. Great nostalgia figure for display; I had a video cassette with his featured G1 episode that I must have watched no end of times as a kid.

It’s boxless right? Wouldn’t it be one of the KO versions?
