Personally i've never used instructions, I always wait for a YouTube video transformation. So if they wanna save money and the planet by not printing paper, all good with me.

    Fixing is done!

    Here's how I made it:

    1) First off, the panel in the yellow frame are open when you pick it up from the box, better have them closed (swivel the waist a bit to fold them)
    2) Rotate the leg a bit forward and unscrew the screws (red)

    117410119_10219675188684955_5205135638328687245_n.jpg

    3) Using a spudger, make some room (look at the photo below) in order to remove the white piece (in green)
    4) Remove the leg and rotate the hips. Mine were REALLY tight so I had to use the screwdriver to rotate them

    117582922_10219675216125641_2963005654376841402_o.jpg
    5) The hardest part is to put the white piece back into position. Having someone else to hold the figure, rotate the leg 90° forward, use a spudger to englarge the thigh (see the red arrow below) and slide the white piece in. You will have to enlarge the thigh more than you would but it's just a very quick move.

And here it is! No risk of breaking anything, no loose knee, no nothing! :)

    YouTube (Handle):
Think you mean rotate the hips ;)

This might also help some people visually:

I'm kind of happy they haven't put instructions in with it. I don't use them and I think less paper in the world used is always a good thing.

They put a message up on their Facebook a couple of weeks back to let people know so unless they were lying (I see no reason why they would) then we're second 50% for sure.

I’m surprised The Chosen Prime hasn’t got their shipment yet. I wonder if they’re holding out for the second wave?

Thanks for clarifying (with a bonus pic!) and testing for the rest of us. I'll give it a go later this afternoon.

I actually asked them this and gave me this response

"At this time we are not sure what run we will be receiving, as they are being released by batch.
We do think they caught the QC issue early.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions."

Thanks, man. I do hope they’re getting the batch without the issues. I can wait for that. I’d rather not have to do the fix if possible.

Despite the hip issue (which mine suffers from on both legs), this is probably one of my favorite figures that I own. The G1 cartoon accuracy is phenomenal. Feels like he's jumped right out of the cartoon. I can't put him down. I've had him in and out of my display case since I got him yesterday.

Despite the flaws with their initial releases, TE is still producing absolutely wonderful figures. I would say they deserve an award for "Best New 3rd Party Company".

My Ark crew now. Let's go KO MP-47!

Removed both screws, wedged a spudger and pried the top open while holding just above the knee, just enough to pop it off. Reverse and replace. Only took five minutes because I was being extra cautious.
