In trying to determine what I could do about my windows to try to be able to have my curtains open in my bedroom to liven things up/making the lighting situation less static without causing photodegradation in my figures, I discovered that my window/sliding glass door (installed ~10 years ago, give or take 2) already uses Low-E glass by Guardian glass, which blocks a significant amount of sunlight (probably a variety that blocks between 70-85 percent at least, going by what I can tell). My question is, is 70-85 percent of UV blocked sufficient to protect my figures, or should I get UV film for my glass as well, to double up and be completely sure?
I have had my double curtains essentially taped shut during the day for a long time, but at this point, especially with quarantine where I'm spending even more time in my room than before, I need a little less of this static, unchanging LED light, and a little more sunlight changing over the course of the day, and I want to ensure my figures will be able to survive that, especially given no one would let me put them anywhere else in the house.
