I think bluestreaks head is not threatening enough for prowl, I think both prowl and bluestreaks heads work for smokescreen, I think only bluestreaks head works with bluestreak

 

I think I can honestly say that Bluestreak finally got some blue on him with those windows

I don\'t think this is yhe actual toy this looks like someone just painted smokescreen why would prowl get all that retooling but not bluestreak. 

 

People keep seeming to forget that renders don't always reflect what the toy will look like in person
ER optimus had yellow eyes and blue hands, that was changed in the actual toy where he had grey hands, then that changed after backlash or actually showing the final figure, where he had blue eyes and blue hands
same was with Red Alert, as in renders, his windows were clear, he had red biceps and a red sideswipe head, that was changed in the final figure where he had white biceps, black windows and a unique head
idk how many times i will need to re-iterate this point, but renders aren't always accurate
if it did randomly turn out to be an elaborate photoshop, then ok, but i doubt it
they have the molds for a bluestreak, look at prowl
the rendering team may have been given the wrong info and made the current render

 

Exactly. It may be rarer for the render to have the wrong sculpt instead of the wrong colors, but it still happens. This is most likely a case of the render being wrong.

 

This is not a photo of a toy, especially not a custom. It's obviously a CG render.

But it's not a photoshop of the existing CG renders of Smokescreen. The poses and perspectives are all different.

 

seeing the timeframe, this is probably a select exclusive to be revealed around NYCC in September.
Last year, I believe Lancer / shackwave were revealed as SDCC or NYCC exclusives

And if you look at pattern: Siege prowl and barricade were retail, Bluestreak was Walmart exclusive, smokescreen was select
This year, smokescreen is retail, prowl is amazon exclusive. There is a rumored Netflix barricade that can be either siege with battle damage OR earth rise .

We are also short on 4 select figures if you look at SELECT numbering

There is a rumored bug bite but bumblebee was revealed recently, there is a rumored select hot house but airwave is not available yet. Bluestreak is not revealed yet because smokescreen is not available yet....

We already know this isn't a Selects release because the leaked listing puts it as mainline ER. Given that listing also had it in a full case of just Bluestreak, we're guessing it's an exclusive of some kind, possibly Walgreens.

Tbh I don’t really mind the types of heads used. What I’m worried is the use of transparent plastics...I own a couple of action figures that use them all suffer breakages.

 

I had my money on it being Walgreens, but multiple Amazon listings worldwide suggests otherwise

The only question mark is Ratchet: consistently reported as a Selects release yet you wonder if he's WFC-E28, the only gap we have now between 1 and 41

 

im thinking similarly, as perhaps to at least have 4 waves, they will treat wave 4 like wave 5 of siege, where its just a load of misfits, giving us 3 repaints/remolds in the form of Bluestreak, Ratchet and thrust, then giving one new mold, which im thinking needlenose

After Tigertrack appearing out of the ether, I suppose we can't discount one of those 4 being GS-20 and Spinout (or Cordon, or Lift-Ticket, or ...) popping into the list between GS14 and 17, but yeah, odds are we have those gaps filled in.
