    Got mine yesterday.
Great headsculpt, tight waist, odd choice for ratchets on shoulders, loose mid tail joint, loose grip on hammer (gun mode is fine though), loose heels (rear paws) and assembly error that had the left/right feet swapped so the ankle tilts are wrongo_O  Luckily the shins are assembled via screws so I swapped those (so now the screwholes are on the outside).

Not exactly a bad figure, but such QC errors can be quite disappointing.

Who'd you get it through? I keep checking the new release page for TCP in the hopes it'll pop up and my pre-order can ship...

The QC issues are worrying, but at least fixable-ish ones. I've got TE's movie Bumblebee, the first and second runs. And while the design is based around a neat transformation, the first edition had odd little missteps. A pin in the ankle/back of the vehicle doe3sn't go all the way through, and as it's on the same axis as a very tite hinge you have to slide for transformation... well, that broke. And a pin in his chest keeps wanting to come out in most people's versions. Both things that were improved in the 2nd one, but it still has that feel of the loose joints should be tight, and the tighter joints were the ones that should be loose. Hopefully just the teething issues of a new company.

I got mine through a walk-in hobby shop here in Malaysia. Never expected to see him as I was there to get GT WhiteApe. If anything the only parts to be careful on this guy are both connecting pieces that attaches the shoulder armors to his torso; they're on the slightly flimsy side and somehow not diecast considering their importance and the way you rotate them during transformation.

Just shipped from TCP. Will hopefully be in my hands in a couple days. Added Ancestrod to the shipment. There’s a couple things I’m still unsure about with that figure, but since I seem to be building a T-Beasts collection now, I might as well include him.

No instructions here, either. Although I did get two left feet!

Sent a message (about the foot. Not the instructions. We have youtube). Slightly odd as I had the same issue with Zeta's Skydive a little while back. But TCPs always been super helpful when this stuff happens.

Meanwhile, after tightening his ankles a little, he's growing on me. I wish his Tiger mode was a little more poseable, and I wish I could remove his visor - I don't know how they got that on... He's a fun answer to Lio Convoy.[IMG]

I've not found anything else for them. You can open them, but it's just hollow inside with some plastic walls to support it, and on the inside of the lid is a small peg that was just part of the sprue. I was hoping for a way to combine them into some sort of rifle add on.

I’m just wondering if they fit over his hands to be blasters like his movie version

Tried that- fists are too big to fit inside. Kinda works as elbow blasters like Daniel's exosuit though.

...Oh my god I'm an idiot.

You can! Give me a few minutes, I'll put up pics of how.

    Okay!

Step 1: straighten the fingers and thumb out as shown, palm facing down like he's riding a bike.
Step 2: The "boosters" should be mirror of each other... one of the plastic walls will be cut away, and that's where you want the thumb to go. That's the bottom, and then the side with the hinge on is which arm it belongs to. Then it has that tiny peg...
Step 3: ...So that you can clip it into the first dark silver hole on his arm panel.
Step 4: Pew pew. (forgive the mess)

^The thrusters that came with mine aren’t mirrored. It still kinda works though. It’s a cool option but not something I’d use often anyway, so no big deal.

Definitely liking this figure. Aside from one loose part he’s pretty good. Not as impressive as the GT T-beasts but definitely glad I got him. Ancestrod on the other hand... could be a lot better.
