Got my Slitherfang today. Seriously. This is what they sent me. Now I need to get nine more and make a chain.  

 

Well they both do look similar, I can see how they got it mixed up.

I preordered the rest of the wave when the preorders went up and they've always had a September 1st release, but Smokescreen was ordered after the fact whenever it shifted into the 'we dont know when this will be back in stock' mode. That could have contributed to the confusion, I guess?

 

This is the label on the side of the plastic bag it was packed it. SMH. Their packing robots can't tell the difference. I've already got a refund. It was under a certain price so they didn't even want it returned. I'm tempted to drop the pics of this in a review. LOL


They supposedly had two more in stock. I reordered. Hopefully they at least send a Transformer this time, if not the one I ordered.

If nothing else, I'll order a case from EE and shield up a few more.

I got an update on Overload while all this was going on.

 

Got a delay email for the Deluxes. Though, Arcee is still slated for this weekend. Got another email, Quintesson is due in September or so.

They're more or less spinning the board and throwing darts at this point.

 

What bothers me is that it screws up my budgeting. I could cancel if something comes earlier than expected but then I run the risk of never finding it again. By the way, Sky Lynx was delivered today a day early but Slitherfang might be lost. I was surprised by how small the box for Sky Lynx was.

 

Cancelled my preorder of scorponok that I've had since February with delivery date in October and ordered one on target with red card. Same price and will be here on Monday.

 

Well if you don't want that... send it my way. Seems like something I could use.

Crap. I got the Overload email too... I only ordered it on amazon because I was afraid my preorder at Target (For $21) would get canceled. I didn’t think Amazon would ship first... hopefully Target beats them to it...

 

At least the box came through with only a small ding. My Slitherfang's card was quite curled. I thought, "Hey, why just order a lone 5.99 Transformer, threw in Criterion Blu-Ray Cronos.. been in my wish list for a while.' Cronos comes from a nearby fulfillment center in PA, and Slitherfang... North Carolina... Not big on packaging, but doesn't look good seeing something banged-up like that.

 

My Slitherfang's packaging was all chewed up and curled as well. I complained and got a refund

 

Ordered three Slitherfang, one on its own and separately, two as a pair. Two different Amazon bags arrived today - one rather comically large, the other rather small. If you've already guessed that the two were wedged into the smaller bag, then you're quite clever.

 

Why do you still keep using Amazon? LOL

 

Honestly? I do surveys and such so I get gift cards and since I buy a lot of stuff, besides toys, the dollar honestly goes farther at Amazon. Sure there are hiccups here and there but Sky Lynx came well packed and the ones that weren't, like most of GI Joe classified wave 1 were ok.

 

Unfortunately they have a few exclusives which I still dread to throw my money at them...

 

The toy was fine... but if it came with the DVD, I think the chances of the package being dinged up would have been lower.

 

They have them in NC and mine STILL won't be here til the 14th-17th?? That's some bullcrap right there! With people who ordered after me getting them first.

Please to tell me where I can get these gift cards? I'm ever so poor.

 

Bing Rewards is also a good way to get amazon digital gift cards (and several other kinds). Once you get to Silver status which usually only takes a month or two if I recall, you can get a $5 digital card about every 2 weeks just by searching for random things on your desktop and phone. Just takes about 5 mins every night to do. I've just been doing it every night for years with getting digital Microsoft/xbox cards and than hoard the points till a new game comes out. I rarely pay full price for a new game thanks to that. I think my biggest steal so far was when there was kind of a game drought during one year, so I had quite a few points saved up, got the $100 Rise of The Tomb Raider version with the DLC for $15 after what I paid for it in the gift cards I earned.

 

Yup, I've been Bing-ing for a couple of years myself.   Recently cleared out my points for 2 Ironworks on sale and had credit left over that applied to my Slitherfang/cat food/other order.
