No mate mine does not look like this and majority of the photos I have seen in this thread has it quite straight. Seems you got a lemon on that one.

 

Oh i see it now. Yeah mine was fine too. It probably malformed while being in alt mode. You could try reforming it with heat.

God, do I love these brand new + versions. Adore Bluestreak, and I gotta get my hands on Smokescreen sooner or later. Those two are prime examples on how I think a toon-style rerelease should be done. Those extra faceplates were legit the kicker for me. Not only did they make the figures look better than the original, they finally can show emotion.

Exactly the reason why I prefer Badcube's Lambos over the MP+ Sideswipe and Red Alert.

Well, I just emailed SureThingToys and requested a refund. Enough is enough. 6 months is more than ample time to get the figure in stock, regardless of the current situation.

 

So I just received an email back from Surethingtoys. Looks like they’ll get it no later than August, but hopefully sooner. I’ve waited this long, so another month isn’t that big of a deal. I’m sorry for all those that cancelled. I hope that you guys got yours by now, as well as with a good price.

 

Man I canceled that preorder and went with TFsource. As I think I’ve stated before they have preorders for figures that’s already been released...SINCE LAST YEAR! So no I passed on any preorder from them and would only buy if they’re already in stock.

 

All of a sudden today, I'm seriously thinking about buying this guy. I'd ask someone to talk me out of it, but I know where I am   The only one of this mold I have is the Prowl +.

 

After first swearing I wouldn't get any + variants I ended up getting 17, 18 and 20. Then I swore no season two characters. Then lockdown was looming and I needed something from a UK-based supplier to tide me over, so MP-19+ it was. I don't regret it as I really like the redeco and the original looks great in alt mode.

 

The MP-19+ mold is a stupid cash grab by Hastak. It doesn’t look good as the original design, and you’re paying more money for less detail. The whole toon aesthetic and the MP line is going downhill. Hard pass. MP-01 peak MP...

Yeah, and I don't have any of the originals. I'm trying not to buy too many of the pre MP-36 figures but I really like the way Smokey looks, I love the smoke effects. I just finally opened and transformed Inferno yesterday and it made me want another MP, and I'm thinking Smokey is it.

Does anyone know of any deals on him? Or am I just getting him on Pulse?​

Btw, how did I not know about that production stamp on his inner right boot? Think that'd wipe off without damaging the rest of that area?

 

The stamp is only in that location for the black sleeve Hasbro release; Takara's has it buried inside the foot somewhere like the other Datsuns.
