So aside the transformation on the feet, do they have any other problems QC wise?

The reissue from last year is supposed to have corrected feet for easier transformation.

It does. No issues with mine. I think I actually posted pictures when I got it, but can't recall how far back they will be

Ah, you guys must use a different start and end date. English (wider UK?) schools use 1st September to 31st August, so I was always the youngest of my year, and most likely would have been even if someone shared the same date (albeit that would be a very literal interpretation, as we'd both legally be the same age exactly).

Dunno how it works really nowdays, but back in the day (I went at first grade at 89-90) it was the parents job to get you to sign you up to school at the age of 5-6.

Yeah, same here but when they did that depended on when you were expected to start school.
My mum was in hospital with a woman whose daughter was born about 3 days after me. She started school 12 months later than I did - I specifically know because my primary school had two classes that had split years, and I was in with her twice, but left for secondary school a year before her. In fact, I've got a class photo of us and if I look at it, I've got one further year to go, the rest of them, including her, have two... that was a quirk for class numbers I think, but yeah, 31st Aug/1st Sept is a hard and fast rule here. In fact, when I started secondary school in 1993, I was 11yrs and a few days old. On the same day a boy also started and he was 12yrs and a few days old. He was born 1st September 1981. I was born 31st August 1982.

Anyway, what thread is this again? I forget!

No need to fear. I have the V1 figures, and it's pretty tough to get yourself into any real trouble. A simple paper clip can save you just in case you make a mistake.

Good to know there is a solution. Everywhere I read all where saying it stucks permanently.

You have to really force the flap to permanently wedge it in.
I was lucky to have seen a few video reviews before buying it, so it's easy to avoid getting into the problem.
I can't speak to the V2, but even if you get the V1, you should be just fine. Just follow the instructions I linked to, if the flaps ever get pushed in.

I think you'd have to break the v2 to push it in. They made an adjustment so it stops and won't go further with normal pressure.

I'd suspect you're going to get a v2 as I couldn't find it brand new anywhere until the reissue last year.

If you wedge it in as far as possible like I did the first time, nothing is going to fit down in to pull it out, but you can just have to take out a few screws to get it back out. Annoying yes, but not the end of the world.

Think I may go with this set after much deliberation between the 3 options, the make toys one has the best bots imo but the camera mode is just not right to me at all, FT has the best camera mode in my eyes but it's a bit to blue and I hear the transformation is a lot of work and I like transform my figures a lot. Overall this one looks like it has good bots and I really like the camera as well almost as much as FT.
How solid does it feel in camera mode? One video I saw made it look like the side guys kind of hang off when on the tripod.
