The potp couple look like a “power couple” and the wfc couple look like they just met off of tinder (sparker? Welder?)

 

Her botmode is decent enough. Only wished she was a tad bigger to have more leader presence.
Alt mode still looks like a car cake wrapped in fondant.  

 

What was her form there I only have her jet mode.

Oof yea that....that looks like a combiner leg/foot. If I get it I might just plug blast effects into the ports to make it look like a rocket engine but yea, really wish the rear was cleaned up more. If the shield was a half inch longer and had a folding back window, it could’ve covered up that area possibly seamlessly. In fact, it looks like there was something extra planned but either costs got cut and/or time ran out. You can see where part of a back window was sculpted.

The only thing the PotP Elita-1 did "better" was the headsculpt, and I would call it "more show accurate" than "better" as well. I get that that's how Elita-1 looked in G1 but that design was super greeblie and just overly intricate, as were all the female autobots in that episode. I much prefer the cleaner and more uniform look of Elita-1's EARTHRISE redesign, especially with her new color palette that helps set her apart from Arcee's pink.

 

Ironhide kind of sucks. like they remolded a few things but then added that massive shield made of a whole bunch of entirely new molded parts. i wonder how much that cost to budget in?

looking at the pictures Ironhide himself, from what I can see, only has 12 remolded parts. (two of which are the frigging head... to make it slightly smoother, thats so redundant its not even funny.) but 7 entirely new molded parts, at least, devoted to the shield.

Why the hell was the extra budget money spent on making a giant piece of kibble when they could have retooled Ironhide himself further, for a better overall result?

like come on, they didn't even change his wheels into earth wheels? was the shield that important?

If you backtrack on the head remolding and add in all the extra parts from the shield, i bet you we could have had a much better overall result.

In terms of sculpt, yes, but in terms of paint, definitely not (in Sideswipe's/most of the Seige line's case).

Edit: probably not fake, seller has perfect feedback and the render used in the ebay listing is unique and not seen before.

 

I think I might get both Elita and Arcee. I\'ll leave the backback on Elita to give them a more different appearance.
