I kinda want it. But I feel like it would be a waste since I already have two Skeletors and 1 He-man. Plus, thats money that could be put towards the illusive Alien eggs or Castle Greyskull.
If you can find it for a price similar to that listed, I suggest you go ahead and buy it. But I also agree it should have been anyone else but HeMan and Skeletor with the set. Random note, I want to point out DeepDiscount is doing a great job of getting my stuff to me. Shipped on a Sunday, may have it as early as tomorrow.
Was it an iconic vehicle in the show? I haven’t watched it yet, but out of all the vehicles/playsets I’ve seen during my research I don’t think I’ve seen it outside of this set.
And there's no way that doesn't happen. The Got sets will net you 4 or 5 John Snow's, two of them in the exact same outfit. As well as 2 or 3 Night kings, all the same. But consider the He-man and Skeletor in the wind raider set are not without purpose. They're mean't to complete toy style He-man and Skeletor. The hero versions of them are missing the second weapon, battle-axe and purple power sword respectively. Also skeletor has purple feet (as he did in some mini-comics). And the Wind Raider is Man-at-arms signature vehicle in the mini-comics. Like Skeletor and the Battle ram chariot in the 2002 series (which I really hope they make a set of). You put the hero Man-at-arms in it and it looks it was made for him. Also Filmation style He-man and Skeletor come with Castle Greyskull. Mega is being fairly good with making these sets have variants mini-figures to the ones released as heroes. The roton set has toy style Mer-man (green skin), and the hero will probably be Filmation style (blue skin). But it also has some down sides. The proper version of Moss man only comes with the Battle bones set.

My first lot of DeepDiscount orders came in. I don't know what color they were matching on Mer-Man but I don't recall him ever being a mint green. Being Mega, I'm sure we'll get six different shades of green though. His right eye is also off center groveling him a, "Just how hard did HeMan hit you?" look. Kinda wish they'd used the double ball/socket articulation in Battlecat's shoulders similar to his neck. But I also wish he had more articulation all over. He looks good. But he poses more as flying than running.
Holy shit, checked ToysRUs.ca this morning. All Megas are about 25% off. And Roton just popped up in stock. Time to snap up Grayskull.

Yeah, been seeing people find Alien Eggs Series 2 at Walmarts (Mega Construx Fans Facebook page). Codes are below: 94 - dark gray and light gray 96 - red and orange 97 - purple and green I want all 3 sets this time. I didn't care for the green and white glow in the dark Aliens from series 1 but got multiples of the other ones. Now we need some marines - although my Halo Spartans can fill those slots for now.
Series two, eh? Now I wonder if that's what I saw and didn't realize this last weekend. Edit, nope just looked at the listing. Tan eggs this time. I found more green.

And if people wouldn't pay the prices scalpers sell things for, there would not be this problem. Patience and perseverance are the key. I have been hunting for over 20 years now, I have found over 90% percent of what I wanted at retail stores. I don't need to be the first to get something, just as long as I get it eventually.
