It's not so much did not want to as they are legally required decades later to bridge certain culture barriers in releasing product. In order to mange those costs equally across the largest sales base, you get static packaging designed for multiple markets. Just be lucky the US is not like the EU for its language requirements. Depending on the regulations, you have a minimum of three to as many as 24 languages to face...

 

Wow. Pretty great pricing on this. Too bad the border is closed for me and there's no way to ship to Canada. Walmart.ca will probably sell it for $50+..just cause they can.

I think you are grossly overestimating Walmart’s competence.

 

I have mine as reading delivery by 8/11. It also shows as in stock right now so it's not sold out in their wacky system.

 

Mine is preparing order and delivery by 8/7

 

£45 in the UK (roughly $60). Not such great value. Shame.

Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow but I've gotten no shipping confirmation and it still says "preparing order" in my account. So not confident he'll show up on time.

 

Received an email that shipping has been delayed and Blaster is out of stock on Walmart.com.

 

I got the same email and preordered a while ago. What kind of b.s. is this? Walmart is so incompetent, why keep the preorder page up so long then send out emails saying you may have to cancel orders.

 

Mine's shipped. Not from Walmart though. Should receive it tomorrow.

Not guaranteed but it likely will also hit stores eventually since it is part of the existing line on the shelf.

At least you guys got e-mails about the delay. Mine was also scheduled to be delivered yesterday but the order status page just says, "Delayed—check back later for status update."

 

That's gorgeous. I have to get one now. I hope he ends up in stores so I can get him and soundwave.

 

G1 box/style never seems to look outdated. Til this day, all the G1 box looks great. If I didn't own a G1 Blaster and an AFA version, I would certainly purchase one. Hopefully, more reissue to come.
