TFSource says he will be available in Feb 2021. Anyone know why the change and if this is a mistake? I know he's expected this month.

Man ShowZ has this for 97.99. That's only 2 bucks cheaper than US retailers are charging. I am afraid to see what Baba will charge for this.

 

Does the price includes shipping? Chinese sellers (in particular the ones which sell abroad such as Ebay, or Ali, os specific stores such as Showz) could always give sole cheaper options due to the extremely cheap Chinese mail costs, but now those costs have spiked.

 

Yeah that includes shipping, but usually Chinese sellers shipping to the States will give you 10% off and that includes shipping.

I think shipping is back to normal. I've been shipping bigger boxes from Baba, and he never asked for anything extra, and they've been arriving at the same speed as pre pandemic.

 

How bad are you thinking, in terms of Baba pricing? Genuinely asking since I went with him for the first time since I got Beachcomber really late, haha.

More than a few on Facebook have sniggered when TFSource is mentioned in conjunction with this Dunerider availability date change. My assumption is they don't trust TFSource as trustworthy indicator of when Dunerider will actually show up. Take it for what it's worth I guess. Thomas being delayed, I could buy that (based on size, complexity, etc.), but not Dunerider. Just my two cents.

 

TFs-Express are getting stock in this week and posting from the UK next week. No idea what TF Source are smoking with 2021 dates

 

Below is the best I'm aware of, though it is from before Dunerider was in color. I just searched for posts by Cheem in this thread.

Not to mention that because of those dates, iirc, there's legit someone thinking that Feb. 2021 is a reissue date for Beachcomber.

The someone is me, and it was a wild guess. Mainly because FT's release process is changing so who knows what the hell is going on. Figures are coming out more quickly, but in smaller batches...

My conspiracy theory,

They're restricting supply to make sales of their fort max stronger.

If everyone is shoving for "limited" beachcomber or seaspray, the idea of a truly limited product in fort max will sell better.

 

TFSource just sent out an email today with FT-43 Dunerider as arriving soon... which usually means in a week or less. Hopefully mine will be inbound soon. This has turned out to be the "Summer of Minibots" for FT Fans!!!
