MS megs with his hips can be various heights at different times. if you want it taller that is super easy. or you could go with the shorter layout like you saw in those pics.

 

is that surprising given everyone was using MS prime with NA megatron for the longest of time. but what is surprising is that MS seekers/coneheads, bluestreak, and now soundwave are so different in height.  

 

To be honest I don't know why I was expecting any real difference when I have NA Megs and MS Prime and they work fine together!!    

 

My Megs from HZJ arrived today. 15 days, not bad. Although I do wonder about the last three parcels from HZJ all having different points of origin within China...

It's a little bit peculiar. No battery, as expected, but I do appear to have the LED and the other "exclusive" bits and bobs (no, not quite - no extra chest plates, but as I don't fetishise that one damned scene from the movie, no loss). I also have the tiny magnets for the feet, which HZJ excluded from Soundwave and Soundblaster for the same reason that the battery wasn't sent with Megs (issues at customs). Hmmm. Oh well, whatever.

As for the figure itself - magnificent. Definitely cannot see this being topped. Really, really happy with it.

Just wish they would dump that effing "collector" card.


... and that transformation! I deliberately avoided the videos, so I had no idea. Holy shit. Magic Square's designer is officially bonkers! That was the most intricate transformation I've ever seen, and some parts of the instructions suck. The parts count is insane. How did this cost so little? Bloody good fun though, and it all pegs together so nicely. Did anyone else have that "jigsaw joints? No fucking way" moment?

Who was it that said this Megatron couldn't sit? Mine has no issue with the pose.

 

battery is integrated with the LED. unless you are referring to the cap that fits on top of the LED. magnets were never included with soundblaster, and i'm guessing soundwave as well (didn't get it). but instead came only with the cassette package set.

 

Mine is out for delivery. So excited to get my collectors card.

Got mine from ShowZ this morning and it came with all the preorder goodies, including the LED.

Speaking of the LED.... How does it work? I watched a video and it looked like dude just clicked it. I tried that and had no such success.

 

from what i can gather from videos, believe you need to put the plastic cap on it and press it all the way down to light it up. pull the cap off slightly and it turns back off. there's no "click" involved.

Well, this sucks. Pin wasn't installed properly and warped the hinge.

 

given the soft flexy nature of MS plastic, i would try to push out the pin out slightly, line it all back up and press it back in if you can and i think you should be fine.

is it just me, there seems like there's a lot of QC issues with MS with soundwave/cassette and now megs?  

 

lol...wtf that sucks. but on the bright side you have a new megs on the way. i am pretty sure.

it looks like the pin never had a hole on the other side so it just pushed the other side out and derped it up.

but back to your other train of thought. i do feel like MS is definitely trying to rush these bots out. i am not sure if it is due to the virus or if they are just trying to beat NA to market. either way these last few bots have been hella rushed. shit that i never see on an MS bot has been all over these last ones.
