Anyone know of a good match for Flipout's gray paint? I am painting a part and got pretty close mixing the colors I had on hand at home, but it is not 100% there.

 

I was about to write "days" but I fixed that myself to weeks!  

 

I am still wondering if Fanstoys have a separate trailer for their Combiner torso or whether they are going to cheat and do what Zeta did with their Superion.

I hope the XTB trailer goes up for pre-order soon.

 

The FT rep posted in the FT stunticon thread that their 2nd trailer will form their Menasor. Hope XTB updates us soon about trailer info.

I don't think they are making an extra figure for Superion, nor do I think their Silverbolt will get a trailer, so I'm guessing they will have a separate torso 'cheat' for that one.

 

it would be funny as hell if FT just made a chassis for everything to plug into and said, well, here ya go, lol. it's going to look odd enough for their alt mode to be pulling two full size trailers. and yes, I know it is done in real life but it isn't a normal configuration, at least in the states.

 

Fanstoy will blow ours mind off by offering one separate torso can work with both team to form either Supersion or Menasor, plus switch between cartoon and Toy mode.

OMG that sucks...

I fear that with 50% of the joints on XTB figures...

I have the cars in alt-mode and I'm not transforming them again. Gravestone will be transformed once more into combined mode whenever the trailer gets released and never again!

 

Using materials that last will become a more apparent problem plaguing many 3P TFs as the years drag on with the products on the shelf. By the time they complete all the Stunticon sets, the first one might be a pile of disintegrated rubble on the shelf. Even FT had materials failures with early pieces like Tesla as time accumulated post release. It seems the resolved it as, in contrast, their Dibots seem to be holding up very well. Other 3Ps may not be willing to invest in using better materials, and we'll unfortunately be finding that out after the fact.

 

any details on how it broke? or photos? this would be the first instance i've heard of (there was a nother isntance where something else in that area broke but not the stress marked piece)...that being said gravestone is what...9 months old now? maybe these the plastic on these things is degrading a tiny bit over time/tempcycle/whatever and thats all it took?
