Huh, really? I didn't know that. I guess I was wrong about him being an original design?

 

Hmmm I'd like more evidence of that. We haven't seen any concept art for such a design.

 

Was gonna ask what Barricade turns into, but saw someone mentioned it, looked it up...yeah, swastikas weren't generally on those it seems. Shouldn't matter anyways, if a character is depicted as having one, then by all means, have it on there. I see it the same way as when Treyarch remastered the WaW and Black Ops Zombies maps and removed the swastikas...wasn't accurate to history or the original portrayal, and in that case, took away some of the creepy factor usually found on those maps. Something about Verruckt and Kino Der Toten was more disturbing with the swastika, and it made killing the zombies more satisfying...obviously, those doesn't quite apply here. It's a moot point for Barricade anyways, as I'm not seeing any images of that vehicle with the swastika...or even the Iron Cross, actually. Seems it was generally...logoless? Came in different colors as well, including black, so this figure could easily get away with being just...black with white accents. Really a lot of different paint options here, so can't say I'd be surprised to see more than one deco released.

How much was their bee? $75? I hope these are cheaper.

 

With those extras, I think they won't be cheaper than Bee. I won't be surprised if they are $10 more expensive.

 

Yeah @Shmoptimus Prime I think @htquyet is right, I would expect these to be around $80 each from showzstore. Seems everything is going up slightly anyway given the state of the world too. For me personally, Bee was well worth it, floortile-piece, BAF Starscream limb, extras, paint application is awesome, alt-mode with seats, dials and details...but depends what people value of course! 

 

I’d be content with 80. I’m just happy to see progress. I bought Bulldog when he came out but hesitated on Hornet because TW wasn’t showing much and I wasn’t convinced that the line was going to continue. As soon as I saw pics of Hot Rod and Barry I ordered a Hornet. Fortunately one domestic shop still had the grey one in stock.

 

That's a good point I forgot about the extras. Barry has frenzy too which is really nice. The furniture is really odd and makes no sense but I'm sure I will find many ways to have fun with it   I think over $90 will be a nope for me though. I already got NA Soundwave and MPM Starscream recently and I'm on the fence about GCreations' Grimlock due to the high price so I'm not sure if this fits into my budget or not.

 

All I know is that Starscream better get the repaints they showed off initially because I know for a fact I'm gonna miss at least one of these figures and have a handicapped Screamer

 

Yeah, if they are that expensive, I will wait until the price drops. Until they finish the FS05, getting these early doesn't matter so much.
And excepting Frenzy, I don't like the other extras even they are nice. They just add $5 to $10 into these figures with unnecessary stuff.

 

I wasn't expecting to have to buy two more cars to get starscream's parts, I was hoping for a spitfire and maybe some other vehicle.

 

Agreed on all accounts.
Things will start to cost more.
But consumers will need to look after their wallet too, so qc issues and fit and finish will need to be improved to warrant those increased prices.
Just ornamental extras won't cut it anymore if we need to start paying more.

 

Another good point. Freedom Leader has a million extras but it doesn't matter cause the QC is bad and there are a lot of bad design choices. I have heard nothing but good things about the bee and bulldog though so hopefully that quality continues in this line cause it is expensive.

LOVE my purple Bumblebee! I found him on display at TFCON 2019 and immediately got him. He was $65 I believe with Starscream part.
